Well, those coins may be the best cryptocurrency that gives big profits for mining.
However, for this recent condition, mining with certain hardware really seems like heavier, harder to get the profits. As we know, mining needs more costs to spend, for the hardware, electric, and also other outcomes.
And now, result from mining is smaller than a year ago.
That is why many people stop their activities in mining.
however, there may be online ways to mine some coins, especially offered by certain ICO projects.

Those coins you listed are not profitable to mine for me and it depends on ones mining setup rigs too, how powerful they are but for me it doesn't make sense wasting lots of electricity for few bucks ,and even I mine on free electricity but still it's not profitable at all ,if this continues I might decide to sell off my mining rigs and use the money to buy coins and tokens to hodl

As now you know what all is required to mine a cryptocurrency, let’s explore the best coin to mine in 2019:
  • Bitcoin
  • Litecoin
  • Ravencoin
  • Grin
  • Horizen
  • AEON
  • Electroneum
  • Feathercoin
  • Monero
  • Vertcoin

Well, i wonder if mining the Electroneum coin is still profitable nowadays because there are some bad rumors around them.
What makes me interested is mining Grin coin, i think it is a community driven coin with peculiar algo.
But to mining Grin coin, you need huge amount of memory RAM in your rigs, about 8GB  i think.

On my country even if try mine profitable coin and pay month by month electricity i will have a loss if sell coins monthly, and i not put costs of mining equipment.
It just shows that everyone who's longing to mine crypto's but is living on a country that has expensive electricity will encounter an obstacle like this. But there's always a solution for this kind of trouble that you have, you can avail a solar panel if you really want to mine but it is another form of investment. Calculate on how much is your budget and see if its going to fit your farm, it's not going to be a cheap solution but it could be worth it once it is running.

Many of them have blocked asic mining because asic was creating an unhealthy ecosystem. Remember to mine bitcoin is not easy to consider you must know how much hashrate is required by you to able gain profit from bitcoin today. It's not about how best that crypto it but how much you can get hashrate from the network.

If your electric bill is affordable then try mining another thing use btc and alts with potential then very useful already like ltc, monero and more base in your post OP

Then try to mine also some alts even they are not that popular so if they develop it like that will grow then you have some of it actually that's always i do in different faucets with different alts like i try that all then just hold all of it

actually from the beginning I was very interested in becoming a miner but because of the cost that I had to spend a lot then I could not do that, because you know that to become miners we must have adequate equipment which is expensive then we also have to pay electricity and expensive maintenance
although in the end it will be profitable but requires a large initial capital so that not everyone can become a miner

In my opinion, you should continue mining after you have calculated the current mining values. Because as time goes by we will see which one will be in which position, and how much the price will increase. At least you will be profitable today.

Electroneum? Are you kidding me? That mobile mining thingy that is even already falling apart?
How realistic!

The 'mobile mining'-crap shouldn't even be called 'mining' as it's just 'simulated mining' without any workload or contribution to the blockchain - actually I'd just call it some kind of airdrop.
It's a coin using the CryptoNight-algorithm so the actual mining is done by ASICs, GPUs and maybe a few CPU-miners Smiley

By the time of the bull run I invested into mining. By that time I found good profit, and later when the price decline began to happen at some point there isn't anymore profitability. I was mining ethereum and at some point I was unable to pay my electricity bills with the mined ethereum. In this regard I shut my mining and it isn't profiting.

I don't think mining any crypto coin this days will profit anyone so much as it used to profit in time past when there was a bull run in the price of crypto. I think the only companies that will make profit are those that have already made name from the inception, this companies include genesis mine, antpool and bitmain, apart from this companies I mentioned, I don't think others will be able to make a lot of profit.

About your list to mine now , i think the big surprise to future can be XMR Monero.

Have to agree on this. Am incredibly big on Monero given the importance of privacy in financial transactions. For those wondering, how much can privacy be worth? Have a read of this. Yes, it is a blog, but it captures the potential of Monero very well.

I'd like to try mining Bitcoin, but there doesn't seem any point in joining a pool, the returns will be negligible. I thought I would try solo mining. It should help me to understand a bit more about Bitcoin, and my earnings expectation will be somewhere between fractional and zero. It's a bit like doing the lottery though - there is that million to one chance that I might find a block.

Solo mining seems a good idea in case of low hash power. Try solochance.com for finding your chance of finding a block in solo.

Difficulty is quite high for bitcoin if you ask me. You could try other sha256 coins instead of bitcoin maybe? (if you don't mind mining sha256 coins with low market value). You can check whattomine.com for other good sha256 coins.

I want to try mining using the Butterfly labs ASIC that I picked up. I still haven't sorted out the way to power and drive it. I've got a desktop power supply that is suitable. but I haven't decided on a PC to build that I can take into McDonalds. I've got the motherboard, but I need to sort out a case and screen. I've been trying to build a rig for zero cost, but I may have to buy a dual purpose screen. Rhere is a 10" one that I can use with a camera as an alternative to a rear view mirror in the van.

I'd like to try mining Bitcoin, but there doesn't seem any point in joining a pool, the returns will be negligible. I thought I would try solo mining. It should help me to understand a bit more about Bitcoin, and my earnings expectation will be somewhere between fractional and zero. I think the best strategy to mine coins, is when coin borns, you run and mine it!

This worked to me, with HYCON, i mined this coin when start on my personal PC , Simple Mac Pro using i7 processor and one extra GTX 1060.

As starting, you got a lotttt of coins, because anyone was mining before.. So, really good profit .

About your list to mine now , i think the big surprise to future can be XMR Monero.

My point, Monero starts implementation of MimbleWimble, and to me this is really good.

If you can imagine the price increase as Grin and Beam .. you can think how much monero price can be increased...

The coin implement by side chain Monero, will be called Tari. As i read, you will can exchange XMR to TARI and vice versa.

this can be a great change game to this project, i love monero a long time, but with this will be better.

Well before I state my mining coin of interest I will like to add to the list of required equipment for mining any cryptocurrency, cheap electricity very important because you need steady power supply to run tour mining farm. Back to the question I will still go for bitcoin if am to go into mining.
