I think some of the traders can get a large of money in this bear market. So what we need this time is to learn, to hold or to give up. I choose to learn to survive.

Have engaged into long-term investments isn't good to make profit cause we don't know what really happen in the future either the price will fall or up. We still be gaining profit even in bear season if we strategies our buy and sell scheme.

I earn profit this 2018 bear market by applying some trades on my favorite coin by referring to small pumps and dumps. I have just set a buy price and sell price at binance, and even I got small profit, I still am happy about it.
I have also made good profits in 2018, but not only in trading but in bounties as well. If you are picky with all the projects, you would be able to avoid scam projects and earn good money. Just be more selective 
Your example is very good because it shows many possibilities of the bear market. As we see in the example of other people, the bear market is not a sentence and you can take a moment to not only increase the amount of your coins but also earn. The main thing is never to give up and look for such an opportunity.

Nice advice, I believe we are able to make money in all situation and you prove me right. While some people are crying about the price of their coin fall 10x, I am wondering why don’t they buy more of that coin.
they do not buy more because it’s not a fact that their coin is good, increasing the losing position is the worst strategy(i'm talking not about such coins as ETH or TRX) . better to buy other coins.
the problem is to find the new coin that can do a big % of price grow...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin,vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/anneli-elicoin-cpu-mining-only-exchange-available-3028302... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers
