Wow, Legendary poster above  Shocked
How many months does it take to be Legendary?

To become a legendary member, you need to have at least 775 and perhaps up to 1030 activity (Please check https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/forum-rankspositionsbadges-what-do-those-shiny-coins-under-my-name-mean-178608). So, it will take more than 2 years at the earliest for a new account to reach that.

Making BTC is not that hard. Be nice and helpful and sometimes people will reward you. I helped a user here avoid getting scammed on eBay when he was trying to buy a miner. As a thank you he sent me .25 BTC. Also when just dice was running I was there in the chat room and a player decided to make it rain for all in the room. He gave everyone .05 BTC.

Thats some amazing advice. I have had people send me tips on reddit, but they have only been DOGE tips. Yet to come across someone who is so free with their BTC wallet strings  Grin.
I do rent miners on betarigs sometimes and have come across some wonderful people on there who have given me plenty of additional free time on my rental. I do not take it for granted though and also send out some  tributes in the form of DOGE to their DOGE wallets. Kindness begets kindness i suppose. Smiley

Faucets are for newbies so they can have their couple satoshis to play around with. If you want oever make 1 BTC you need to deliver some sort of service like advertisement, or risk FIAT into it. For example im making some BTC with the advertisement campaing. It's not much but it helps a lot in my situation.

Hi,

I beg to differ slightly, there are some faucets that do pay out a steady trickle of BTC. I track them separately in a different wallet to see how much i am making. I built up a certain amount which enabled me to rent a miner on betarigs and started mining BTC made some profit on the deal, then signed up on allcoin and bought CPN which was down and sold it at a profit again!

It is the cascading effect that you need to look at when dealing with faucets. Maybe i have been incredibly lucky that all i touched turned to gold, but at least faucets gave me the opportunity to start off and will be thankful to them for getting me started in the crypro world!

Could not agree more with the above replies. Faucets do work but for long term and wanting to get quite a bit this is going to take a long while. Signature campaigns allow you to be active on here and as you are doing learn more as well. This way will also take a while but at least you know you are guaranteed payment for your contributions on the forum.

actually both should work with typing.  Grin
but the difference, faucet get little, and a signature campaign get bigger plus we gain knowledge and information about bitcoin, altcoin, even the world economy.

It's a bold thing. But you may just opt to to a signature campaign. They really pay you more for your work. If you are a creative writer and have good opinions on topics, you can just earn money by stating your opinion here in the forums. It actually pays off pretty well for such a work, but I guess the operators of the campaigns profit a lot from the exposure they get in exchange!

Yes they do and you don't make that much : 50-200$ a month for a lot of time, maybe you can make 2-6$/hour which would be considered as good in most countries but not where I live

Yeah, but it is still better than just trying to get BTC from faucets. They really don't give you that much. Also, you learn about new things when you post on Bitcointalk, rather than just look at some stupid faucet page. Where do you think that the cost of living at your place is so high?

faucets are really a waste of time . I did faucets sites for one year but in the end I get only mBTC just wasting my precious time . then I see this forum where you can earn BTC with your skills . you can go services section and choose some project according to your skills like if you know about PHP if you know how sites develop and you have good  English skills for letter writing and so many other businesses are available in the services section . Go and grab opportunity according to your skills best of luck for your first BTC Smiley

You just waste your time with that faucet, unless you have a lot of referrals. I think earn bitcoin from signature campaign is better, as long as you do not spam.

Making a bitcoin using the forum isn't hard if you manage to sell something in the market.
