Great information crowd sourcing. For me the first thing that should be familiarized and focused by those aspiring project managers is the #6. Just like in a ball game, the best defense is a good offense. And so if the whole community is well aware of those scammers and fraudsters in crypto world then we are free now to choose other projects that they might get their interested. I never thought of other ideas as well.

Completely agree with ccowl...

As for me.
I'm an investor on a p2p bitcoin lending site (btcpop.co), and we get a TON of scammers over there. Sometimes we find their usernames here as scammers (lucky), or vice versa.

I would love to create a database for scammers, and maybe this will be a project that I can end up undertaking... Either way, someone *definitely* should. It would be a great asset.

And badbitcoin is good, but they do websites. We need to find, and destroy the credibility of the people behind these websites, and scams. Be they people who took a 5 dollar (in bitcoin, obviously) loan and ran, or people on here selling fake services and such. We need to stand together.

Anything peer to peer requires a community that doesn't put up with garbage. Someone needs to take out the trash.  Angry

I like your ideas. Too many posts about crap, but you are actually giving great ideas to the crypto community. Try to post on Reddit to get more views.

i think bitcoin will really effect in Africa because 100$ can keep  families life for long time ( 2 months  )

Seriously? If I may ask, what part of Africa are you from? If you are not from any part of Africa, then it is best you stop giving assumptive statements. Except the person in question is an extremely low life that doesn't have a future, responsibility or probably does not care about living at all, then I do not see how $100 can sustain any one for 2 months in any part of Africa. I believe anyone who knows about bitcoin apparently have access to internet, smartphone, PC and all, and I don't see how such a person can live with $50 a month.

I don't know about Africa but another country off the top of my head, Armenia. $100 pays your bills and enough to get by. There are certain countries you can live comfortably as the price of living is quite cheap.

Its easy to think of ideas for project that you think the community needs and at the same time you think are good and applicable. But it comes down to execution. Once you start acting on the idea, its then that you discover that your ideas werent that good after all, or worse, it wasnt really new and unique.

Can you expand on #6?

http://www.badbitcoin.org/thebadlist/index.htm I found this by a basic google search, would you pay to post/view on the site or just go here for information; ie., search the DB for any listings or names.

I have web experience, the CL idea and #6 are great.

These are good ideas. We surely need these businesses accepting Bitcoins and AltCoins. I would add that we need a site like Aliexpress accepting Bitcoins, not small online shop sites, like there are already some, but a real big one that have all the kinds of stuff to buy and negotiate with reputation and positive feedbacks from everyone. A decentralized service of post office would be interesting too...

Hi,

After long search and many similar projects, the market needs new ideas and projects to fill the market and mature it, if you are looking to start something but dont know what, here are some ideas:

1- Exchange in Africa with african fiats.

2- Accept cash for ICOs.

3- Uber of everything but accepting/paying in Alt coins not just BTC (Everthing)

4- Craigslist of everything but accepting/paying in Alt coins not just BTC (Everything)

5- adsense alternative but accepting/paying in Alt coins not just BTC.

6- Scammers/fraud exposers wiki (You want to alert about someone, pay something very minimum, plus verification of the scam)

7- Huffington post cryptocurrencies alternative. (Freelance writers)

8- Global exchange ( Accepting all fiats, accepting all alt coins)

3, 4 & 7 someone should get us that quickly.

I think we need especially something like #6 on this forum that is pinned to the top of every marketplace/dealing in bold font. We need to be able to warn new users about potential scammers on this forum so that they don't have bad experiences with Bitcoin.

Interesting post on "new ideas". I'm also keen to see this forum generate newer ideas, or introducing better innovation. There are plenty of gems still to be found, but they tend to get easily lost under the pile of carbon copies. The "everything" idea is not practical, nor wise, in my opinion. There are still so many alts that don't even have a market outside of decentralised exchanges or P2P.

You only have to look at those exchanges that specialise in exotic alts to see that their models end up at nett loss when wallets fail and blockchains lose their nodes. You simply cannot sustain "everything". The hit you take to customer confidence is a risk not worth taking. Have you seen the rant posts of X exchange stealing 1000s of "XYZ coin"?

Thats why we want someone to jump in and start it.

If you gonna start the project and need of web maintenance team. In that case I would like to join hands with you build bitcoin related career along with you. It is pretty impressive idea from you buddy.  Please consider if I can help you.

Impressive ideas i like all of them especially the 4th and 6th one. But to implement these ideas more popularity of cyptcocurrencies needed, cryptocurreny awareness and users community need to extend more. Btw keep it up mate.
