New accounts could be easily detected as alts but old accounts is more immune. This accounts is good for promoting services, products, alt coins, for giveaways, for bumping your threads, for voting and many other that could stimulate your business. And a couple of alts is also good to fight back trolls.
These old accounts means nothing, and nobody would buy them.
Having an older account in no way impacts your "trust" level on the forum, that's a completely seperate system.

Somewhere in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 I created some accounts here for back linking my client sites. There are 5-10 posts per account. If you are intending on using these for giveaways, these account have all been used on the Ripple giveaway thread. For now I would like to sell these individually or a few per transaction.
