all will depend on what the new altcoin will develop. if the new altcoin project has good ideas and innovations, I think investors will never hesitate to put their funds in and everyone involved in this crypto space will also certainly support to spread the altcoin project to the public.
but it will be even more perfect if supported by good market conditions. with unfavorable market conditions like now, of course there will be many investors prefer coins that have long standing, such as bitcoin. and we can see the dominance of bitcoin around 70% of the entire cryptocurrency marketcap

Bitcoin does not control the cryptocurrency due to many stand-alone altcoins, it is only because their biggest currency bitcoin is used for pairs on market exchanges to make it easier. Not only that some altcoins usually if there is a crash Bitcoin follow

with Blockchain technology, it would make good movement in many aspect of life. that can be promoted to many people
but, cryptocurrency is more to "money technology", and Bitcoin is the first.
so, the others field such as gaming, medicine, etc wouldnt be hype as crypto "money"

Everything is all about money. Tech also has been played a huge part in terms of development but you need to seek funds right? Everyone must realize that developing a platform take some money and effort from some developers. Altcoins will probably a comfort zone for those who are looking a beginners ground. Bitcoin is on the another level.

To my little knowledge on cryptocurrency there are altcoins for a lot of uses, some for medical use, some for advertising, some for gaming and so on.
That isn't true, tho there have been coins and tokens which are *supposed* to be for those kinds of things but none of them were ever used for the purposes for which they were intended.  Part of the reason is the issue of crypto adoption in general, and part of it is that there doesn't need to be a coin for every separate industry.  If people were going to use crypto for gaming, for example, they could use bitcoin easily enough.

Or they could use one of the thousands of altcoins already on the market.  There isn't a shortage of them.  Just the opposite, in fact.  There are far too many altcoins out there and there isn't anywhere near the demand required to support all of their prices or uses.

When you hear of cryptocurrency what mostly comes in the mind of people is Bitcoin and that's people that are not all to familiar with cryptocurrency.
In as much as Bitcoin controls a high level of cryptocurrency, altcoins are indispensable.

To my little knowledge on cryptocurrency there are altcoins for a lot of uses, some for medical use, some for advertising, some for gaming and so on. With people having interest in this areas to spread cryptocurrency we can take advantage of this opportunity it doesn't have to be all about Bitcoin all the time.
Though the problem with altcoins is the turn out of the coin after wards and the responsiveness of the owners. But if investors or crypto addicts can engage more in altcoins this will boost altcoins and get more organisers active and spread cryptocurrency more

People creating new coins with many background purpose like medical use, some for advertising, some for gaming and so on just like you said. but the reality is no company is trust cryptocurrency as their payment method, one reason is their customer is not familiar with those altcoin so people won't use it because it will be a waste.
and morething is it is more difficult to use if you have cash for payment why will you use a crypto currency ? you need to buy first in crypto market which is making it more difficult and hard to understand by others, that you know no background in crypto currency.

I believe that the promotion of cryptocurrency should occur through bitcoin. Because almost everyone knows about it, and altcoins are new to many.
And a newbie can easily distinguish cryptocurrency is more about bitcoin so there is nothing wrong getting to know more about bitcoin than altcoin. I have altcoins but I'm also a bitcoin investor.
Therefore, it is worth starting training with bitcoin, I believe.
This is what I tell to newbies if they want to know more about crypto and trading, it's good to begin with bitcoin.

Indeed, nobody is guilty about it. Confidence in the altcoin market is beginning to reduce and we can easily see it in BTC. Everybody immediately directs to BTC in such cases to keep their investment more robust. So, altcoins do not meet expectations. The projects themselves should take a step in this regard. Otherwise, nobody wants to lose their most valuable thing.

In its development, Altcoin also contributed greatly to the development of blockchain and cryptocurrency, so that its usefulness for the wider community could be felt. Because bitcoin is anonymous, so it will continue to be a secret, while altcoin is more open, many development teams show their identities clearly, show the progress of project development and subsequent plans, everything is clear and detailed, making the public better understand. So, this goes hand in hand and strengthens each other to form a complex and profitable cryptocurrency ecosystem with real adoption.

It would be a huge boost to the cryptocurrency space if the altcoin could gain popularity like that of Bitcoin. That could take a long time to accomplish but it's possible. Altcoin would need to sit up to her responsibility of reducing, if not eliminating issues of fraud and Scam.

bitcoin is only one while altcoin in large numbers on one hand has different functions.
so it's no surprise that bitcoin is the key to all this, including ways to introduce other cryptoqurrency as well.
I mean, if people know bitcoin automatically, people will also know about other cryptocurrency.

Absolutely correct, it's like a domino effect so once people have been exposed to Bitcoin then they will surely know about other cryptocurrencies though it will take some years from now and altcoins should have big development like having a real use-case or stopped the scummy project to gain trust from people or investors.

Only the legalization of cryptocurrency or some strong news that will help investors to be sure of some altcoins can strengthen the position of altcoins in the market. Many people know about altcoins only as scam coins that can make you very poor in a few days.
If you mistakenly invest to scam project then expect that everything will be nothing your money will be taken away from you. Legalization of cryptocurrency adds good factors to take effects with the market. There's no doubts that investors wanted to hear more positive news before
placing their money inside the market as they are very careful voiding the possibilities of getting scammed out.

Crypto has largely been synonymous of online gambling. So, online gambling without any restrictions could be one pulling factor for new users.
Earning crypto and getting rewards playing games, In game tokens as crypto would also benefit the use and adoption of crypto.
