Well, it's not the first time when Russia is doing such things. They don't even ask, they just block you. Censorship in this country is going to be mad in the next years and it doesn't concern the internet only, but also a real life for example Moscow already has cameras scanning your face and recognizing systems.

This is not Russia to blame. This is an armed seizure of power (English subtitles are)

What a wicked power in our country, one does not even believe in the reality of what is happening
So what are we waiting for? Election them can not be eliminated is not it clear? In Ukraine, people were shot at and are still being killed, and they are suffering.
Alexei, well, look for yourself, you call these comrades (or I don’t know what to call them, you won’t call them people), and bandits and crooks and thieves, without even insulting, but only stating the facts, in other words, all these comrades are just criminals . Then I have a question. What makes you think that criminals will turn into an institution of noble girls and will behave with dignity ?? No, I dare to assure you, this will not happen, but this has not happened in nature. They do not have such concepts as conscience, shame, dignity, honor and so on. All that is is a position of power, and everything, further only a big fat point. And accordingly, from a position of strength, they can take away money and everything that they can carry away, just like Shestun’s life and health and home and family and everything that was taken away. And what can one expect from a criminal - a constructive dialogue or compromise? No, you can only expect a vile attack from around the corner, which is what happens in principle. Speak they subjugated the courts and prosecutors! No, they subjugated the law! Maybe there is nothing wrong with the fact that only some guys have all the money, the law, the authorities and the security forces. Here is just one problem, this is not a company of noble people, these are criminals. And this must be understood very well. So to keep money in banks with criminals is at least irresponsible, and to be surprised that they disappeared is simply a waste of time. It would be strange if they had not disappeared Smiley)
- Do you want the 90s to come back ?! - Of course not ! - And they are back!
You are a naive person. They did not return, they did not go anywhere. Just the chaos of the brothers (by the way, it was possible to agree with them) was transformed into the chaos of the authorities (officials, courts, prosecutors, police), and you will never agree with them. Brothers plucked businessmen, current thieves and bandits plucked the whole country ... So the 90th compared to today - flowers!
In the 90s there was nothing to worry about! Houses exploded as they explode. Low salaries were then, there are now. There was a small and medium business. There was a gangster racket, he became a bureaucrat. By the way, there were not so many homeless people, however, as well as black realtors. There was democracy, there were hopes, the eternal drunk and cheerful President. There were not so many beggars, there were not so many officials, there were not so many oligarchs and priests. There were many hospitals and schools. Poorly provided, but the staff was still competent. The ruble fell, and goods, shops, and purchasing power appeared. Why scare 90 youth? Everything was fine there. It's time to scare today.
For example, in the 90s, Chechen bandits did not carry in their pocket the identification card of an FSB officer and a star of the Hero of Russia. They were just gangsters.
Manager Junior, why Chechens ?! This your statement is true and applies to absolutely all bandits now. And what kind of ksiv in their pockets and trinkets on the chest - it does not matter ...
@ Kos Mos what a mature opinion, we have so many anti-corruption fighters. Well, tell me at least one other famous person investigating the shadow capital of officials and covering injustices across the country, can not you? I personally don’t give a shit about what Navalny is in life, what he does is much more significant and stronger than all the words of bureaucrats and screen pi * dabols over the past ten years at least.
The state is struggling with the anti-corruption fund🤣 This is only possible in the Russian Federation! 👏👏
There is such a profession, robbing Russia.
Here's an example for you: a bank card block for any disobedience - and you're nobody .. here and think whether you need to keep money on the card and in the bank
19 only in the office ... 25 more in the street ... 80 more in the offices ... 9000 more in the suction ... another 1,500,000 in collusion with the organized crime group ... Only The Hague!
The government is always not enough, these bastards are ready to squeeze every penny out of the people right up to blocking and stealing accounts!
17 loafers counted) and they carry Alexei in their arms, here it is glory!)))
Here is an evil dwarf, even stole money from children's accounts, but what is there to be surprised they robbed all the children of our country
Ohhh, Deripska has surfaced. The story with the fish girl has already been forgotten, and you can get excited against Navalny. Restless...
How pitiful the AUTHORITY looks ... You cannot "cover" your dirty deeds, and decided that it is easier to block accounts ?!
"Impomenty" is the most important state-forming estate in the Russian Federation. New term. I sincerely ask you to excuse me citizens with erectile dysfunction. All matches are random.
Putin screams everywhere - within the law, within the law !!! I want to ask - but THIS - under what law? Can someone enlighten a lawyer with 18 years of experience?
Didn’t he steal money from all families in Russia?
It’s interesting, but what did you want from an authoritarian, thieves and completely corrupt with permission

I use yandex too, simple and no ads, and quite similar to gmail. This say, i prefer having my own domain and host it, using roundcube, ugly like hell but minimalisc and straigh to the point. I don't like email providers with interface looking like i don't know how to say...

A good alternative to protonmail is Tutanota, it'is a german webmail service that encrypts emails from A to Z (and locally in the browser Grin) as well between the users of the service as external users. You can specify a password that you provide and they will be able to read your message directly on the Tutanota site by entering the password.
they have no password in database. All the encryption/decryption process passes through browsers. So, if you forget your password, well you have it in the ass. Grin

I also love gmail and google. I found out about proton mail when I was looking for some alternatives because I wanted it serste from gmail. Proton mail is very good I like using it and it's interface is pleasing to the eye and not cluttered. Its relaxing to use. Another favourite I have is gmx.com and yandex. But handed has been funny lately. They said my newly crested account only a week or so old was being tampered with or something and I had to contact them to get it back. Pretty annoying.

Well, how about firefox? Firefox is also donation only, and it seems to be doing pretty well.
A little off-topic but currently Firefox/Mozilla is performing awfully. They seem to be caring more about BS social code of conducts and designing a new logo instead of actually developing their software. Didn't help that Mozilla got rid of their CEO for no real reason.

I used protonmail as it supports anonymity unlike goggle's email. Protonmail doesn't need your real phone number to verify it and just accepts whatever information you give it. Also they have an onion version of the mail which is really nice to be anonymous! Some people have concerns about it not being able to scale to goggle's size. Well, how about firefox? Firefox is also donation only, and it seems to be doing pretty well.

You need to see the bigger picture here. Protonmail is funded by a "donation" and "subscription" service and would always lack the funding to build capacity like Google. When they run out of resources, they rely on "donations" to increase their capacity to allow for more people to join their service.
You have a good point there. This indeed explains that in some cases (so far I haven't experienced it yet) they don't allow free registrations due to the lack of funds to further expand their whole service.

That being said, I am sure that when you happen to register a paid plan, that you at all times can get their service to work, and thus can avoid waiting for free registrations to become available again.

Gmail may not have the security features that Protonmail has but Gmail does provide a more fuller suite of services that can be used across multiple platforms. For example Gmail has mobile apps, calendaring, etc while Protonmail has yet to mature to that level functionality.

Another limitation is that at the moment you need to wait for at least 3-4 weeks (if not longer) to get a Protonmail account.
You mis the whole point here. Protonmail isn't meant to be used as mainstream email application. If that was the case, it would offer a much better free service experience to compete with the rest.

Other than that, what do you mean with that you have to wait 3 to 4 weeks to get an account? You can sign up and start sending and receiving emails with protonmail within 3 minutes.

They offer much more than Gmail or Yahoo Mail, because you have full encrypted and private email services with them. You have absolutely no privacy with other FREE email services, because they use your information for marketing and to supply information to their government. < As Edward Snowden has proven >

I think the Swiss has been turned by the USA, so services like this will come under constant attacks, like they have been with continuous DosS attacks recently. ^grrrrrrrr^

For me gmail is the best mail site that I've used fir more than 3 years and I am not yet encountering any problem with their services. With regards to account hacking, they have the best security that I had observe for a long time, and talking about proton mail I have no idea about it and it's not a well known site here in my country where I am residing right now.
But do they require you to put in a code you receive to your phone via sms if you try logging in from a device not previously recognized by their system like gmail does all the time? Sad
They have optional 2 factor authentication.

I haven't used proton mail but with my experience to gmail. I can say that I didn't receive any single marketing email. Probably they are doing it,depending to the mailing contents that you are sending to someone. That receiving of marketing emails is happening daily to my yahoo account that's why I migrated to gmail which I preferred to use.

ProtonMail uses OpenPGP internally. What this means is that mail between ProtonMail users is end-to-end encrypted and cannot be read by anyone else, including ProtonMail. In contrast, reading your mail is sort of the point of Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.—it helps them build advertising profiles of you so that you can be advertised to in more targeted (and lucrative, for them) ways.
From a security perspective, it means that a database breach at ProtonMail would not leak your mail content, whereas it would at almost any other provider. This is also true for mail from outside ProtonMail, as we encrypt incoming mail on your behalf and throw away the plaintext as it arrives. This means that your mailbox acts as sort of a document vault that only you can read.
Finally, ProtonMail also has some neat features that can be used when, for instance, you are asked to email something sensitive to a third party who doesn’t use ProtonMail. In that case, you can set a password on the email and the recipient will receive a link asking them to log in on our secure server to access and decrypt your message/attachments. I’ve used this several times when asked to send documents to banks, etc., and it is MUCH more secure than regular email for this purpose.

With hackers, I'm quite comfortable using gmail, which as far as I know hasn't had any serious security breaches in the past - as long as you have a random/long password you should be fine.  If you value your privacy though I would go with Proton Mail, because by no stretch of my brain can I trust Google not to view private information themselves.

Protonmail! Since its encrypted Smiley
Only the storage is encrypted. If you're sending email to somebody else (like someone using Gmail), your message could be read in transit.
