With the efforts of the XMC team and the support of everyone, XMC has successfully completed the upgrade and the network is stable.

Please note: It is recommended that users of XMC wallets upgrade their wallets to the latest version for a convenient experience.If you need use a non-upgraded client for transaction, please set the number of ring-signature to at least 8 to ensure the transaction is successful.

Upgrade Announcement of XMC

Thank you for your support of XMC. Since the last announcement of the upgrade announcement, although we have experienced various obstacles, with the support of the majority of XMC holders in the community, we decided not to be forced to delay the XMC network upgrade again and again. The new features after the upgrade are as follows:

1. Add the function of the block fund, the proportion of block fund is 10% of each block;
2. Add multi-signature support, support N/N sign and (N-1)/N sign;
3. Add stagenet support;
4. Add the subaddress function, subaddress starts with 8;
5. The minimum length of the ring sign is increased from 5 to 8;
6. Fix several other bugs.

The upgrade activation time is: block height 1684610 (probably UTC time October 16, 2018). Please arrange the time reasonably and prepare for the upgrade. I think its high time we start thinking of how to solve problems in blockchain and cryptocurrency wtih these forked coins. After being the fork of Monero, what's next for the coin? We need to build a feature that will sustain the project amidst any crisis so that an investor will be rest assured that his investment is safe. When the Chios are down, the system will filter coins/tokens that will doesn't have real life application or solving any problem in the blockchain

Hello all,

Do you guys know anyway I can split my pre-fork XMC and XMO coins?

Splitting the XMR was easy since the current anti-ASIC Monero chain has a minimum ring size of 7, while the other two accept 5 and above.

But since both XMC and XMO accept the exact same ring sizes, I'm left with no easy way to split them.

Is there any trustworthy person (Bitmain?) selling post-fork coins?

If not, is there a way I can use coin control to craft a transaction that has a post-fork exclusive input in its ring?

XMC == XMO, despite price sites displaying them as different currencies, they're the same. Just different development groups.
