thanks... i think the background image just needs those interpolation lines removed when you save the png..

it's actually pink interpolation lines on screen... looks much worse than the screenshot..

That's strange... I guess we could add an option to disable the background image. That sounds horrific...although also sounds like a GPU issue, how old is that mac?
it's a laptop not a desktop... and not very old

Just setup a new node -and- its connecting to peers, but they all have -1 height, so no blocks to sync to.
