IMO, I think, it's the most important part of ICO project. For example Current ICO project has a Shark in their dev team and this project became the most attractive ICO project ever ). Most of them don't matter if the ICO is going to come out and be successful, all they care about is that you would trust them with your money, because after they got your bitcoins they can simply do anything with them, and all they promise to give you is tokens.
You guys have to remember that most of the ICOs will never come out with a project and even some of them has an idea that is impossible to make, you just need to make sure that the project you are investing in will bring enough hype that you won't lose money at the very neat future on selling the tokens.

of course it does, a scammer isn't going to risk their true identity, it's just too much risk. it also matters because you can look at their past work and at their social media, which is a good indicator if the developer is good and serious about this project and cryptocurrencies in general.

How will you trust an ICO project for which you have no information about the team? I mean I will loose my half of the confidence before I can invest anything into it. I mean I am going to invest into something which is being developed by unknown persons or may be there are no person behind the project at all!! How would you know all these things or how you can even make up the mind to invest in such project. I mean if someone tells us that XYZ ICO is being sponsor by the Vitalik then obviously its half of the success is already on! Thats the thing bro! Its important.

Not necessarily, but it is not possible for a team in the advertising industry to do the food industry, right? When in the team there are people who have experience in their industry, it will create more confidence in the project but not all. We have to consider on many other points to trust an ICO.
its a part yes.. but we really dont know what ICO is scam or not, we can just minimize the risk by doing diligence research but in the end it more on how we TRUST the project..

Yes this is also a factor to make sure that its a trusted ICO but there’s a lot more to check. I mostly check the project and marketing strategy of an ICO and the plans of the company (roadmap) and also the community that supports it, well im not saying that by these you can be sure about the ICO that you check but it will help you to gain ideas that will convince you to invest in it.

Yes. But this is only a small part of what you need to know about the project. Since even teams with a good reputation can fail. I recently invested in one company, only for one reason. There was a man who was respected by authoritative people, and he threw all of them. So it's worth to look closely at the team, but this should not be the only criterion for making a decision.
Dont think people who buy in ico check team except ceo of that ico, but advisers is a different case everyone look who are advisers.
