@OgNasty

Thanks for the input on this. All good information. I'll round 'em all up, get some good pictures, and go from there with it.

I wouldn't try a gun on here myself. Seems like you'd be asking for trouble doing that. To each his own though   Wink definitely support the freedom to do whatever the hell you want with your own property.

I've seen users sell guns here in the past.  Tasers should be fine so long as the buyer and seller are both obeying local laws with the sale/purchase.

Theymos has made his position clear in the past. As long as items being sold are legal in the buyer and the seller's jurisdiction, he will not interfere. There may be a few small exceptions for liability sake of meeting the laws of the jurisdiction of The United States where the forum is (kind of) based, but this is not one of them. Tasers are widely available in the US to anyone over 18 in most states.

I highly doubt there would be an official stance on the matter, the moderators would have to use their own discretion to decide whether or not to permit it.
And both parties involved in the sale would also have to show their license and prove they are from a jurisdiction that permits it's sale.

When you phrase it that way it probably isn't worth it. While they are legal where I live there is no license required, so I'd have no proof of that which is a bit of a double edged sword in this case.

Maybe I'll search elsewhere and sell them in bulk to one someone who meets the qualifications.

On that note is there an actual list of prohibited items listed somewhere on the forum or is it more of an apply-common-sense situation?

Good to see the new topic here. It was me who advised you in the Goods section to move the topic here. Anyway, as I said in the other post, in my opinion tasers should be a prohibited item. I think one needs a license before buying such items.

Thanks again for pointing me here. Perhaps I'll get the answer I need. It's really not a big deal if it's a no. Just trying to ditch them since all they're doing now is collecting dust. I guess it was stupid of me to end up with 20+ tasers in the first place.

If it's prohibited life goes on  Smiley

Edit: I'm sure this has been addressed at some point in the history of this forum if I dig enough..

Are tasers a prohibited item?

They would be sold only to buyers that live in a jurisdiction where they're legal. It was recommended I post this question here instead of the goods board.

Thanks in advance for any info!
