Is there anyone familiar about this coin?
There is someone send me DM on FB saying that it will surpass what Bitcoin have now.
Electroneum started the mobile mining model sometime in 2018 and I am not even certain that they were even the first to do it but I don't remember any other platform that did the same thing, go to Coinmarketcap and see where Electroneum is right now, infact let me give you a hint.. presently trading at $0.003 per coin and that's after raising a whooping $40,000,000 in October 2017 when every coin was giving up to x20 ROI after their ICO, still yet to see the lambo come out of it.

Mining using phone is a great, but I think it will make our phone slow.
And you believed them saying that it will overtake bitcoin price? Even if it does I'm concern how much volume it might have later.
There was some coin called Electroneum, it was really popular back in the days when it's just released. Especially the mining system using your phone.
But the popularity dropped as time passed. As you know, mining on phone consumed quite a lot of your phone system, that makes your phone very slow-response, overheat etc.
Etn is still a very good project and many investors are still holding their bags, you don't understand a thing about etn mining on mobile phone, etn mining is just cloud mining so its not using phone cpu and gpu

I dont know why people interested on mining on phones which likely not designed to produce good amount of coins and profits. Mobile phones capacity isn't much applicable compared to PC. Yes there is electroneum and phoneum and others that has launched but for me this kind of project isnt useful.  Id rather mine main coin such as btc or eth on a PC with powerful rigs. My phone will be safe from overheat and deffect.

Don't believe an unknown link by an unknown guy, it can be phishing! Someone gave you thins link and you think this is good to post in Btalk forum and help them to get some view? Though you wrote you are not promoting this but yet you are not being honest here. This project looks duck, 200$ worth the website and content, no brief about how they will able to mine on the phone, no partner, no blog news, no events just nothing in this project, a shit project is better than this!

You say you're not advertising the coin, but it looks like that to me(by posting their whitepaper and website), if you just received a PM from someone unknown about a coin, it's definitely a shitcoin from a shit project, seeking more people to scam. I wouldn't bother reading their whitepaper or going to that website and I don't think anyone should, it would only be a waste of time.

I think so. If someone introduces you the coin via PM, you can't get any benefit from it. Phone mining has been available for a long time, it has not spread widely because it damages the phone a lot. You should move out from this idea, the earnings you provide will not be enough to repair the phone.

Or investigate Bitwings, they claim that 2 ETHs could be mine in a month with the phone they created. For more...

Okay it's my fault I  SHOULDN'T post whitepaper here. Just for you to conveniently read the whole information and share your thoughts about it. I deleting the whitepaper anyways.

All my family are now part of Minerpi network we are one of the pioneers of this Minerpi network and no one among my family is complaining that their phones are slowing down because of this software, there are already over 1 million on Minerpi network and the rewards or tokens that one can mine are deducting each time they reach a new membership milestone, but I guess it will take time before they develop the marketplace or get this in exchange, distribution is not yet starting.

I don't look into the project you mentioned because I found its just the shit since he mentioned the price of that shit will surpass bitcoin soon. Tongue

Anyway cryptos can be mined with cpu but the value of mined coins will be 1000 times less than the electricity fee to charge mobile and also continuous use of a smartphone will leads to brick so don't do it.

Who dm you? Have you check their credentials? Are they even legit? Those claims greater than bitcoin, killer and other lines that says that would surpass bitcoin are like rusted plate meaning too old. And in addition, bitcoin has already many enemies from pc platforms, mobiles and other things but in the past 10 years no one even stand out.

Actually this is not the first, i have know other few coins that you can mine using your smartphones e.g electroneum but all the same this is not a real mining but cloud mining that doesn't rely on the power of the phone cpu, i don't recommend such coins because cloud mining on phones doesn't make them better

Adding coins with a smartphone is not new news anymore, there are some developers who develop it like Electroneum which allows our smartphones to mine Electroneum coins. But the disadvantage is that it will make the smartphone get hot quickly, the battery will often run out and burden the smartphone. Mining using only 1 smartphone is very less in my opinion, there must be several smartphones, more is better. But I prefer to mine using a VGA Card that is more durable and stronger power.

I don't think this is the first thing crypto does for phone mining. There are so many projects like this. Electroneum already did it in 2017. I remember there was a project called Mangocoin, where you could mining the coins through a shake-up phone. But it was already dead. When viewed from the web and the explanation of MinePi, I'm not too interested because it's like fake promises lol. But I could be wrong. Goodluck!

I am not interested in mining coins using my own phone because besides only slowing down the performance of my cellphone, in my opinion it will make the life of the cellphone shorter. If you want to mine coins, in my opinion it is better to use proper equipment so that the results we get are more and maximum

This is not the first mining done on mobile, but it will end the same as other shitcoin.
my advice do not ever do mining on your phone, altcoin is worthless it can even cause your cell phone is damaged.
all altcoins that are mined with mobile phones must be avoided.

Nowadays mining in a computer alone does not yield the maximum profit that there is wasting our electricity is too big and not strong to pay.
Especially in mobile phones that have to communicate but used for mining, I think impossible. Although it can not give profit equivalent to mining using VGA computer.

Changing the game
mining on mobile is not recommended, it can make your mobile damaged, I have tried for the first time mining electroneum, PI as well. But it all does not last long because the cell phone will quickly heat up, making lag when doing multitasking activities. Though it was all done with mobile phones with high specs, but basically cellphones are not intended for mining but will not be maximized and cause more harm to the cellphone itself. I think not to try mining with mobile phones, mining with rules and using tools as recommended.

Mobile phones aren't yet powerful enough for effective Proof-of-Work (POW) mining, but Proof-of-Stake (POS) assets can be mined on a mobile device because they require much less processing power than the former to generate rewards for holders

Bitcoin FTW!
While I'd love to make money while my phone's not being used or something of that type, I usually go for a few hours daily without access to a charging port for my phone, and mining would probably kill my phone's battery percentage, and it's also critical that my phone always has adequate power, so a currency mineable on my phone isn't really something I'm interested in.

You're also very unlikely to make any significant amount of money from mining with a phone simply because there's so many mobile devices out there nowadays that are also likewise capable of mining, which lowers profitability if there is any at all. Mobile mining is mostly just a gimmick to get people to use a coin at the moment, and it's certainly true a coin might start rising in price purely from hype from mobile mining, though it's really not anything new or practical.
