So I figured that I will try to dip my feet into lending a little bit.
I am willing to offer collateral loans with no set limit as to how much I will be willing to lend. I generally will deny your loan if you are asking to borrow less then .01
BTC. I am willing to offer loans for one or two weeks however if you offer a high LTV ratio for your collateral then I may be willing to lend for a third week.
What I accept as collateral:- Altcoins with a stabile value - 120% of repayment amount
- bitcointalk forum accounts* that are hero member or greater
- Other digital goods that I deem to have value and are non-reversable (if you offer a digital good, more likely then not I will not accept it as collateral)
What I do not accept as collateral:- New altcoins that are not at least 4 months old
- Any altcoin that is not traded on a major exchange
- Most altcoins that trade for satashis (DOGE and NXT are exceptions to this rule)
- Anything not on the above list
*if you offer your forum account as collateral, you must provide a signed message from a bitcon address posted at least 2 months ago on an
unedited post. If you are unable to do this
then your account must be held by myself (or a trusted escrow) for 48 hours prior to the loan funding. then I cannot lend to you. You must also agree that I can change (or can direct escrow to change) the signature and any contact information on the account.
I do accept escrow, however all TX fees and escrow fees^ must be paid by you
^most escrow providers do not charge anything however they do deserve to be paid so you must pay the greater of 0.01 BTC or 1% of the loan amount as a "tip" for their services, however if the interest paid is at least 0.07 BTC I will pay half of the escrow "tip" and if the interest paid is at least 0.10 BTC I will cover the "tip" myself (this is being done to discourage smaller loans). The "tip" will be paid out of the loan disbursement.I will cover all escrow fees provided the interest is sufficient to cover interest
