Boys. It is time to quit gamble. I created a topic about taking gambling as a major income or not and fought a lot of kind people who held an opposite point. I own them a truly apology. I am sorry. No matter who you are, gambling is only for fun. Never take it as income at anytime.
This is just it. Gambling should be for fun. Spending less than 5% of your weekly income or less on gambling is not bad. But some people are addicts to the extent gambling become a problem in their lives, which supposed not to be like that.

If you are still gambling, you should quit now. If you cannot quit by yourself, there are so many channels to help you. Even you can talk to me. I will do my best to help you.
Why? I can advice only addicts and punters that are not gambling responsibly to quite.

It's just so disheartening seeing our youths getting engrossed in gambling, they waste their resources, and the precious time that could be used to make money and do other meaningful things. It's just almost impossible for majority of them to stop because they have taken it as a source of income which is a very wrong move to make, they end up trying and nothing comes out if. It has also made most them go around trying to steal money and valuables, sell it just to go back and gamble again.

My elder brother dropped out of the University in his final year because he used his school fees given to him to gamble and it didn't turn out well for him because our parents are not rich for him to ask for another, so he started writing exams for students just to make back that school fees and at the end of the day he was caught by the school authorities and was sent home. So gambling has done more harm than good to out youths, if you're addicts try to stop it.

Most people just go all in after maybe they might have experience some kind of good win and forgetting that gamble has to do with two functions which is winning and losing. The ability for every gambler to control his or herself during this heavy loss is what makes you not suffer and become an addict. When a gambler starts experiencing loses he or she forgets about everything and just keep chasing his losses which he will never get back and this act doesn't stop till the whole money for gambling is spent and thats when the regrets and frustration kicks in.

Knowing when to stop when experiencing lose is very vital to having a healthy gambling lifestyle.
People venture into gambling with some  sort of positive mindset towards it as a steady source of income, it works for few of them including myself back then. After a successive win, they now throw in their all and all into it forgetting that the table might turn around. Victims of the negative side of gambling end up discouraging others from engaging in it while its their own fault that they couldn't control themselves. They come back and blame gambling as  an entity for their flaws and setbacks.

These kind of people in my own perception are not yet matured enough to start taking responsibilities for their actions and until then, they'll not fix the lack of personal and emotional control in them, instead, they'll continue looking for other things to blame for their failures and in so doing maturity is still very far from them.

With just simple mechanics and bets you can literally earn more than a bare minimum wage of a worker, but it wouldn't always be considered a steady source of income as we know that gambling relies on luck, and not always luck would be always by your side. There is nothing wrong if you think that gambling would be a good source of income, some even consider it as an investment by just simply betting their spare money, you wouldn't know you might still get the chance to double or triple your money. It is already on you when you already learned your mistakes, the pros and cons of gambling, but still continue as they cannot control themselves to gamble. It wouldn't be always a good choice to pick the easy way cause for sure it has consequences.

On the time that you would really be having that kind of mindset then pretty sure you would really be able to make yourself not to be able to stop gambling completely as long you do have those kind of intents in mind on which this would really be keeping pushing you to play further more because you are really that trying out to thrive on hitting that thing on which it would really be that understandable that there would really be those moments on which you would really be that having those feeling on quitting but on the time that you would be thinking about recovery then this is where those emotions would be starting on kicking in for you to play once again. It is really just that a matter of perception and discipline towards gambling activity on which on the time that you wont really be that sensible into your actions
then this is where mistakes do usually happen.
Recovering from loses is something that should not be done in an aggressive manner and for sure there is no need to be under pressure to recover since you only gamble with the amount you can afford to lose and be comfortable with for some times,  so since ad a gambler you are already aware pf the risks that comes from gambling,  you already know how to position yourself to be in a better place at all time and also avoiding to get into any form of the situation that will pressurize you when the losses come.

Many times,  those who go along that route always end up recording more losses than they previously had,  so trying to chase recovery is one of the bad ways to gamble and stay safe.

To say it as it's been expected, is is truly possible to recover from loss, are we gambling in other for us to always make a win and if we doesn't then we begin to chase after loss, things aren't done like that in gambling and just as exactly as you've also said, gambling is meant to be taken for fun and we should do it with that understanding that we need to have the best moments of our pleasure in it while gambling, chasing after loss is just as having an unforgiven spirit and never to let go of our last mistakes, instead allowing them to get over us and affecting our passion for gambling, if we really are gambling for fun then we should know that loosing or not should be accepted the way it comes for us while gambling, the earlier the better people have to understand that they cannot recover from losses no matter how, instead, they may continue to loose more at the attempts of doing so.

Talking about quiting,it is something very hard to do,we all know the moment you are addicted to gambling, you will find it very difficult to put an end to it.It is something ones you've started, there is no going back to it.

I know some people who quickly removed the addiction from their minds once the consequences were serious enough to make them change their lives forever and not gonna step on gambling anymore. If you guys remember when Duterte declared war on drugs, it was not all drug addicts he was punishing and putting them to their ends but he also managed to close every gambling den back then in some of the communities here in our city and they quickly followed because bodies are laying in the roads and the victims are those who are managing the places and the people who used to go there are forced to change their lives but after Duterte has gone, they are now back to their old habits except for the few who managed to change their lives forever.

It is clear that a person will become addicted if he gambles continuously without a break and it causes huge financial losses. Because what happens in casinos is that people are easily tempted by this game, not using their common sense properly, even though in reality many lose and few win. Therefore, when we win or lose, there must be time to stop first so we can recover by looking for activities that are beneficial for us, so that if we want to gamble again we will be in a stable condition.
That is very true because playing gambling continuously without stopping will make his mind think about gambling, including how he can win at gambling. Even if he loses, he probably won't accept it and will keep trying to win the game he loves. People are easily tempted by what is in the casino, so it is one of the many things that keeps people coming back to the casino and gambling. If they could stop gambling and, rest their minds and do other activities, they would not think like that and could instead try to reduce their gambling activities. They also will not experience gambling addiction like other people because they have started to limit themselves from gambling excessively. They don't want to experience gambling addiction and try to prevent it.

Actually, people who are already addicted to gambling can’t just quit it in a day, but even though they are trying to quit the gambling addict, it will take time because being addicted to something will make it very hard for you to leave it just in a day.
Any gambler who is not sure if he can quit gambling is definitely addicted. For a non addict, there are certain outcomes you must see in gambling that will keep you in the game else your passion and interest will start reducing. It should be that the moment gambling becomes a huge burden to your finances, then there is every reason to either reduce your participation or stop for the moment. What constitue success in every business to take appraisals to know how well one has done or otherwise.

Even some non addicted gamblers find it very difficult not to gamble in a day even when they have self control over gambling and they are also on a losing streak. In gambling, any one who finds certain things to be very interesting there by making him to find it difficult not to stop gambling is already addicted to gambling. I bet you that most gamblers don't even keep record of their wins nor their losses even though some claim to be having good records. Do you know how many things some gamblers gamble in a day ? Will they have the courage to keep keeping daily record of their losses when it will affect them emotionally I think addiction happens when someone is already committed to doing a certain thing regardless of a positive and a negative outcomes.

Gambling addiction is not something a person can easily stop. It requires some time and dedication to control the problem gambling to an extent of quitting entirely. However, the symptoms starts when a non addict, begins to gamble lots of money and doesn't feel the need to stop. Instead he keeps going hoping to win more, in the process he then forgets the pains of losing out money. I think gamblers need not to keep records of how they gamble in a day. It's a matter of self determination. Those records have no changes in the brain of the gambler. He only needs the right advice to redirect his actions on saving himself from getting into the wrong direction of gambling. However, quitting gambling whether for a non addict and an addict is not simple. But, if a person is courageous enough not to gamble for few days he'll be able to forego gambling. The problem starts when the player is gambling each day, non stop.

The brain must be rewired, not only willpower. Avoiding record-keeping simplifies the issue. I feel the opposite: keeping records can be strong. The gambler realizes losses, breaking the fantasy of just one more gain. Face the painful truth, not dodge it. Self-determination is crucial, but actual evidence can help change

The assumption that proper advise may change a gambler's life is optimistic but unrealistic. Gambling addiction, like other addictions, requires multiple approaches. Treatment may involve therapy, support groups, and medication. It requires guts and a rehabilitation plan to navigate one's darkest time. The idea that a few days of abstinence may break the habit understates addiction

So the best is to play the games with an amount you can afford to lose and still be comfortable with walking away with any attempt to recover and if you going to gamble again,  it should be because you want to have more fun and not to recover from previous loses.
It's true what you say, it's better for us to gamble with as little money as we can afford if we lose then we won't regret it because basically in gambling we have to be willing to lose that money if we lose when gambling. That way we won't be chasing losses too much or recovering them will be very difficult. We must be fully aware that the risks in gambling are very high and we must be ready to accept that winning or losing is the result.

It is true that winnig or losing are the only two possible outcome of every game we play, but one thing we must try to accept is the fact that gambling is a risky game, which before one will want to begin,he must have had a mindset that anything can happen,it's either he loses or he wins, when he loses, accepting it as part of what happens to gamblers is what should be done, rather than taking it to heart, which will affect your state of health.
Talking about quiting,it is something very hard to do,we all know the moment you are addicted to gambling, you will find it very difficult to put an end to it.It is something ones you've started, there is no going back to it.

When you are gambling day by day you are getting addected with it. When you are playing with low amount and when you faces losses it's not hurts to much but that's the game win or loss. When you are in to much losses thats pressure you to quit gambling and that moments you are thinking to that you are living gambling that moment you can move on but no one do that they try to recover their losses and many bring success and many faces huge losses.

The gambler who want to recover the loss of 1k dollars should not use the money of 500$ by getting credits from his friend circle.Because the loan with the gambling will not the better option,if you loss that 500$.Finalky you will get into the loss of 1500$ at the final.Instead use of the 50-100$ to recover the 1000 dollars loss, because if you loss that 50-100$ from the free money will not affect your monthly budget at the end.But that 500$ to recover loss is not the wise option, the gambler also play the gambling sometimes for the entertainment.Because the money targeting someone to become the gambling-addicted person at the end.
Even though I mentioned none aggressive chase to be ok for recovery,  still I have my reservations about the concept of recovery in its entirety reason being that gambling is a high-risk thing,  and no one can tell what the result of the next bet could be and for that there is no guarantee of ever recovering no matter how hard one tries.

So the best is to play the games with an amount you can afford to lose and still be comfortable with walking away with any attempt to recover and if you going to gamble again,  it should be because you want to have more fun and not to recover from previous loses.

Quitting anything in life isn't easy...most especially when it becomes an addiction. The worst part of it is when you try to replace your bankrolls - the more you wanna keep 'em racks intact, the more you tend to lose everything...

it's definitely a struggle that needs time and subconsciousness... Every gambler started off someday and began along with the whole process -- so quitting would definitely need alot of exposure and engagement... The ability for you to reduce your urge to gambling is exactly how you begin the process....

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
Once that addiction hits then getting out would really be not that simple or easy. Quitting would be depending on your mind control and discipline on which success would really be still questionable.
Quitting would really be never be that easy, because if it was easy then we wont really be seeing addicts and we wont really be seeing gambling to be a profitable business.
This is where gambling businesses would really be making revenue on which into those addicts who are impulsively spending up their cash into playing gambling just on having those hopes
that they could really be able to make huge. This is inevitable though but there are those individuals who are really that good when it comes to self control.

That's right, it is very difficult to provide education or understanding to the public about the real dangers of gambling, because they only see luck, namely winning, so they will be interested in doing it. If people also see the negative side, namely defeat and the bad consequences of gambling, they will think carefully about entering the gambling environment. Moreover, if you are already addicted, your life will be full of problems and this must be really paid attention to for someone to enter the world of gambling.
Consciously, I'm sure they already know the dangers of losing money in gambling, it's just that usually they come full of confidence by making deposits because they see the streamer or influencer they watch win big wins and display wins without showing losses so the audience will definitely be impressed to try it but After they fail, in fact that's when they determine their next life.

If they continue the game and continue to pay for their gambling just to recover previous losses, it will not work and will only be in vain and can lead to a gambling addiction, but if they realize that their choice of gambling is not the right choice, they should stay away from it and not try to gamble again. especially when trying for the umpteenth time to experience defeat at gambling. that was a stupid way to choose
Very often people despite knowing that what they do implies a massive risk still decide to do it since they cannot possibly picture themselves falling victims of those risks, so they begin to gamble thinking that even if they know that casinos have to make money somehow, they believe that money will come from other gamblers and not from them, and while at the beginning a few of them could get away with it as they got lucky, the more they gamble the closer their results should align with the probabilities and they will begin to lose money.

One of the reasons why they still do it even though it has been proven that the final result always loses, it is because of the hope that they still apply to a victory. And another reason is that they always assume that "it looks like this time I will be one of the lucky ones out of 10 people playing" that's always what's on their mind so they keep trying, and when reality slaps them again with results that don't match expectations then they will think like that again to do the next session.

We must understand that in gambling the percentage of winning is much smaller than the risk of losing, the casino has arranged everything, and one of the reasons why people often say that gambling is a game of probability is because the casino's goal is to make profits from losing gamblers while on the other hand they set up all the systems in it so of course it is very natural that defeat dominates over victory which will only happen occasionally, I think most of the gamblers do not know this fact so they put their hopes and act excessively.
