I traded this coin when it was new but its now looking like its becoming forgotten.  Has had no big news and trading volume has been under 1btc on polo, looking like a delisting coming soon!

We're working on quite a few new things to be released in the near future so I don't really know what your talking about. Read the blog to see what we've been doing recently and what we plan on doing in the coming months.

Radium Update #19 — Implementing the Restructuring and New Website Release Details

As you might have read in our previous blog post we have recently decided to embark on an organizational restructuring of Radium. In this blog post we outline some of the changes we have already made and some of the changes we plan to make in the very near future.

The proposed new website will be released on the 22nd of January. You can find more information below.

What have we done?
So far we have performed the following changes in line with what was discussed in our previous blog post:

  • The Project Radium Twitter and Facebook accounts have been renamed to @RadiumCore and CoreRadium respectively. We have also done some minor updating of our Twitter and Facebook profiles.
  • The Bitcointalk thread has been updated to reflect some of the organizational changes discussed.
  • The domain name of this blog will be changed from blog.projectradium.org to blog.radiumcore.org in the coming week. We will also be renaming and updating the blog profile. We will announce when this has happened on our Twitter accounts and on the Telegram chat group.

What are we working on?
The following is a list of things we are currently working on and hope to have ready in the near future:

  • We are currently working on getting a new website for Radium Core which will be up and running on the 22nd of January.
  • We will soon be changing the way some of the open source resources on GitHub are managed and we will be contacting any major Radium infrastructure (exchanges, block explorers, etc.) with information regarding this in the upcoming weeks.
  • We plan on releasing a blog post on the progress of the new SmartChain update next weekend.
  • The information on some of the graphics on the Bitcointalk thread is outdated with respect to the new SmartChain update so we will be updating this in the near future as well.

New Website
As mentioned the new website will be released on the 22nd of January. This will include (screenshots included in blog post):

  • A documentation page
  • Downloads page with SmartChain Verify links
  • A Radium Stats page showing relevant blockchain and market related stats
  • Radium newsletter sign-up
  • Links to all relevant Radium related services

We are progressing well with our reorganization process and hope to have it complete within the next few weeks. This includes some major changes like a new website and GitHub management changes, to more minor changes like renaming and updating our Twitter. All these changes are being undertaken with the vision set out in our previous blog post for a more efficient well run open source cryptocurrency project.

We hope to have a blog post updating regarding progress on the SmartChain update next weekend. We will also announce any changes or things we do in our Telegram chat group.

Hi,

We have added RADS as an official payout coin on our multipool: www.zpool.ca

I hope you can bring good support from miners. We offer 10+ algos to mine and over 100 altcoins.

Cheers!

We'll be turning off the RADS wallet Jan 1st 2017 so if you're mining with a RADS address please take that into consideration and move to a BTC address.

Cheers!

I have a saved passphrase for something named Radon from March 2015. The current wallet doesn't seem to have a passphrase backup option.

Was this for testnet or some deprecated client version? I can't remember.

It is most likely from a depreciated wallet version. The wallet.dat should be compatible with all the current and passed clients, however the blockchain is not, so a resync would be required.

The thing is I don't have anything except the passphrase. Is there any option to use it now? I want to check if there were actually any coins there.

Do you still have the wallet.dat file?

No.

My best guess is that the passphrase you saved was for the original experimental Radon platform. It would be worthless now, but a fun reminder of where we started.

Seems like it.

@mybitcoin101: o.k....for example that means that i you have 1000 RADS and your are staking which begins after 60 conf and the wallet have to be open and encrypted the yearly reward would be around what`? somewhere here was writing about 18,5% wich would be i my example about 187 RADS per year.

Appreciate for an answer Smiley

Given current stake weights, 1000 coins would make approximately 30% in a year, or 300 coins. However, that rate will be dropping by 25% in February, so a rate of around 23% would be a more reasonable estimate.

Maybe some others who could confirm that?

IS THAT NORMAL ?

I requested 2 withdrawals from Polo and Trex to my new local wallet.

It has been now 30 min.... immediatly the transaction has been confirmed
on each exchange, but no coins have shown up yep in the wallet?

A chance this was just tiny amount to test.... but still coins....

can someone help?

thanks

I have seen this happen before with poloniex. It seems that they create the transaction but there is a delay with it being broadcast to the network. Usually the transaction shows up in a few hours, or you can contact the mods on the trollbox and sometimes they do something that seems to speed it up.

@Altcoinlover:

First check your hash (TxID) you became after the transaction was confirmed. You can check it here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/rads/

If you can find you will how much confirmations you got. If there is no confirmation (after more than 30 minutes there had to be conf.) you should write a ticket to support. Withdrawal from exchanges sometimes (i think technical issues) take a bit longer. Had this experience with smaller coins (e.g. QORA) also.

If you see the transaction on the blockchain your coins are safe!

I forgot one thing: You wrote you the withdraw to your new wallet. So be sure that it is 100% synchronized, otherwised you can´t see the coins (despite they are in your adress).
