thanx for your answers! but this is too much effort for that... look at ANS, there you can stake just kkeping your ANS in the wallet...even if the wallet is closed or the computer off....

My guess is that they are using the older coin-age style proof of stake protocol. While coin-age systems do allow your coins to gain age that is then rewarded by stakes when you turn the wallet back on, it has some significant stability issues.  I worked on fixing one case where a large number of old coins coming online in a coin-age coin caused the entire network to roll fork and roll back several hundred blocks. I do not know if that is the system they are using or not, but that is my guess.

Would you mind linking to what you're referring to? It sounds interesting. I doubt what they are doing is true staking, since by definition, staking requires constant computational power to produce and process blocks.

Indeed, what provides network security then? Also interested here.

how many confirmations are needed for staking in the wallet? has the wallet to be open or is it sufficient to hold the coins in it? Thanks!

Radium needs at least 60 confirmations. Best is to keep the wallet open as much as you can. 24/7 is ideal.

Not only 24/7, but encrypted and unlocked as well.

Stacking in this currency is very profitable, why in the community no one advertises about this?

When is the current reward reduced?

Thank you, and great project.

The base reward drops at block 874360, or in roughly 53 days. That is a bit more advanced than we had initially calculated, due to there being slightly less than 1440 blocks per day.

You can find out more about the reward schedule here.

Thank you. It seems a bit overkill 18% reward now, I guess for that reason the price drops, they sell the RADS from stacking at market.

The logical evolution indicates that if the project progresses, the price will rise considerably in the next 18 months with the constant reduction of reward.

I will keep my wallet open waiting for new developments, I think the next reduction will be very important, if the price does not recover, many wallets will stop stacking, or not sell reward at market until price rise..

Good luck and thanks for the work.

half of the coins and even a little more are in node staking

We made it to our 100th page! Woooho!  Cheesy Shocked Kiss

We are still active in both telegram and slack, however it seems that telegram has more community adoption in crypto in general, as well as has more security features and options, such as special self destructing messages and endpoint to endpoint encryption.

Congratulations! Next purpose is 1000 pages Wink

And top 30 in marketcap, where this coin deserves to be!

At least the top 40 would be good

whats the difference between telegram and slack

Telegram is primarily community oriented, whereas Slack is primarily team and development oriented.
