Blockchain and stuff

Hey - thanks for taking the time to reply to my questions. I've been investing over the last few months in decentralized data storage coins like MAID and SC. I've been reading about how RADS essentially offers a better solution to having decentralized storage.

So I understand you are the main developer of the coin. Do you work on this fulltime? And what additional support do you receive from the community? I unfortunately don't have a strong development background but could help on the marketing side of things given that's where my background stands.

Hi!

Radium has two developers. tm2013 is the developer for the Radium Coin wallet, and I am the developer for the SmartChain. The Smart Chain offered decentralized username/address linkage, proof of existence, and file verification through hashes stored in the block chain. tm2013 said he has begun work on a decentralized storage system, but my understanding is that it is still pre proof-of-concept. The SmartChain client is in production, and is available on the OP.  To my knowledge, the SmartChain is the first system to incorporate user accounts, address-username linkage, text notes, and proof of file ownership and proof of existence in one system. If you have any other questions, please ask!

#WINNING Cheesy

Nice to see, hopefully it flies as it seems deservedly so.  I guess whales are the name of the game no matter the coin (I wish they'd visit WBB Coin sometime! Sad  ) lol.

Anyways, glad I stacked up on Rads over the past weeks!  200-300k incoming. Smiley

I like #3 but maybe add a lil more "flair" to it.

Hello
Hello,

New to Radium - have been reading a little here in the ANN as well as on the slack forum.

I'm currently invested in MAID as well as SIA because I'm a big fan of the decentralized storage. I'm definitely curious about Radium now after reading more about it. Could somebody please fill me in on a few questions just to get me caught up to speed?

1. What is the current state of the project? Where are we at and what's on the horizon?
2. What is the community need more than anything else right now?
3. Anything else to note about Radium's future that an outsider should know about?

Thanks in advance for your time to anyone who helps me out by answering these questions.
Hello! Thank you for taking a look at our project.
To answer your questions:
1. The current state of the project is the continuing development of the SmartChain client (the next release will be Phase 2.4), and the continuing development of the Radium Ion Cloud towards a proof of concept release. After the proof of concept release of the Ion Cloud, we will move quickly towards a Phase 1 release, which will contain general fixes, improvements, and added features. We are also trying to improve Radium core, but that has taken a backseat lately. The reason being: if it's not broken, don't break it by trying to fix it. On the non-development side, we're continuing to work on various how-to and promotional videos, as well as various things that would make us more "official" per say (Trademarks, LLC, etc etc). I'm probably forgetting things in that list, but I will correct it if I remember them.

2. The main thing that the community needs at the moment is exposure. Any great work is done in vain without people to know about it, or without people to receive a benefit from it. We also need to remember to stick to honesty, transparency, and answer questions with respect. We must refrain from hostility when met with misinformation, and simply address each case as it occurs.

3. For an outsider, things that are important about the future of the project include: We are here for the long haul, we are constantly developing, we are 100% committed, and we seek only the best innovation and growth in all aspects for the greater community. Many innovative products are to come, some focusing on technical utility, while others focusing on general usability by the larger populous.

Let me know if there's anything I missed, or if you have any other questions.

Best regards,
-Tim M.
