Rating sites about projects may attract investors to invest in such projects with high ratings.
But these rating sites are not financial advisors in the first place so it's not a good idea to trust what you saw.
Investigation should always be done first and check whether a that project is good or not.

I think much better to make our own research and not to rely to some ICO raters. Yes ICO raters can help us to decide when and where we can invest but much better to make own research and study than to always rely to what ICO raters said to every project.
ICO raters such as icobench or icodrops only make  "our" research become easier. I agree if we shouldn't rely and trust 100% from their rating, but we can use it and we don't need waste too much time to analyze which good ICOs.

just looking at sites:
https://icobench.com
https://icorating.com
https://icomarks.com
as a reference to find out how far the project is running and see the rating.

Yes, the above-mentioned websites are very good for references because ICObench is giving a very good rating for the project which has huge potential in terms activity and team role in the project. We should not consider every project but we have to consider most rating projects.
Not at all. Its never been a good preference for you to rely on these rating sites.I dont know if you are aware on current issues with these rating sites or not
buti would tell you this that most of them can potentially be paid up to list out or sponsored or recommend a certain project neither a shit one it doesnt matter.
So, you would still end up on getting a good preference for long term since you would end up on a shitty project.

Rating sites should not be trusted, it is better to analyze the ico project yourself (if you know how to do it).

I totally agree with you. Rating sites are not to be trusted. These can easily be manipulated and mislead investors. One such example, is TripAdvisor, with many fake reviews.

It is not good to completely believe on the rating websites because of some ICO listing websites are charging for a higher rating, so we need to research ourselves before investing or working for bounty. Before investing not only about rating we need to look at how potential the project is going to after the crowdsale.

I heard that amazix has a problem with one of the ico review websites, I am afraid this will be a symbol of investor distrust of ico.
investors are so disadvantaged that they are no longer interested in ICO. there must be new rules about such websites.

The only site that I use to check ICO ranks is https://icodrops.com , I don't believe in other websites , most of them get pay to rank an ICO and they dont write reality.
Rating sites now are just used to know which project exist, there what about and plans, neverthan that ratings doesn't matter. It will be better to join in some forum or chats that discuss projects ability than seeking their ratings.

The vast majority of status websites complete actually do roundabout marketing and advertising connected with ICOs. When I tend not to confidence almost any status web page of which gathers cost intended for a checklist or maybe going over almost any ICOs on their web page. Generally complete your individual exploration within the ICO, in addition, to examine around the ICO within the forums/friends, in addition, to go to realization. Tend not to simply just head out blindly having status websites.

The majority of the score websites perform really do roundabout marketing associated with ICOs. We do not believe in any kind of score website which gathers charge with regard to itemizing or even critiquing any kind of ICOs on the website. Usually, perform your personal investigation about the ICO as well as talk about concerning the ICO about the forums/friends as well as arrived at the summary. Do not simply proceed blindly along with score websites.

Do you really think that there are any experts opinion as well. I believe it's not true rating on those ICO ranking sites. Most of them could be bought one and many of them are just putting some numbers so that their website can gain popularity and then gain some crowd for displaying the advertisement.

Many of you might just think this is not true, but this is the reality guys. I have seen that almost all the ICO that seek for the ranking are getting 80%++ green rating thus making it look like far legit. In reality we know that more than 80% ICO are scam. Lolz.

So do the math and tell me how they can be trusted anyways.

Rating website is only used as a reference when you participate in ico.We can't fully believe them. And we have to have our own judgment.
Agree. we can only use it as an information relation to be able to get more complete information about ico not as an investment guide. because of course it is very risky if we only see the review rating

I do not fully believe, in my opinion trusting a site that says project A is good is a mistake, for me the meaning or content of the project is very important, if I read in detail that this project is very important, then I will look for the site or project rating.

indeed it can be manipulated, of course we have to be able to choose ico carefully because now the rating can be purchased to get more investors

Rating sites are a very subjective way to evaluate a coin. As they say: a hundred sites - a hundred opinions. Personal analysis and collection of information about the coin is the best way to avoid mistakes and loss of money.
