I have coins missing, transferred out from Cryptopia, but never showed up in my wallet, even with re-scan. Don't know what happened, really.

The project has been stagnant for a long time, and there is no big action. This time many people lose patience and may be quiet.

Puzzled by the multiple resurrections of this, what is the point again?
A new wallet might be useful?

Is TALK on any exchanges now?
Should really try and get it on jl777's BarterDEX before that becomes difficult after the inevitable rush.

How?  with $$$?

Join Komodo slack, then ask for assistance , the dev team behind BarterDEX are extremely helpful, one of the best communities in crypto, jl777 sets a great example and leads by example too, hard working, always available to discuss things, good humored, patient.

afaik listing on BarterDEX is free, but TALK community needs to do some 'work' too, not like a centralised exchange where you pay $$ and they do everything for you.

thanks!  dropped them a line or 2...   Grin

I agree BarterDex would be a great placement.
So hit them up.

afaik They just need a sound code that will run, TALK is nearly 4 years proven sound;)

Atomic swaps just take a node that runs TALK and whatever counter trade coin you wish to trade.

For a plan to get some C++ coders attached here is my plan:

Remained focused on POS collective wisdom, TALK is a great chain, gather the other good POS projects to use TALK as a central hub to communicate.  If you can stake one chain, why not stake a few more too.

Secondary plan is to create clubhouses that focus on obscure but decent POS chains, mainly to keep them alive and then thrive.

example:
Bumba, Cache, CNO, FETISH, SQL, Growth, Opal, Hobo, the SciFi coins, Ultra, etc.

Then grade/gauge the POS chains with larger marketcaps.

Think rating agency.

And I have donations for new guys that join up and stake.

If you move funds from say wallet 1 to wallet 2 they should reset the stake however you will have to wait for them to mature again also folks im still here i have been having some computer issues as of late here losing all my linux dev based os so i got parts in yesturday getting everythhing back up and running sorry it is taking longer than expected
Yeah, you and me both, I've had 2 disks slightly fail, my linux SATA and my main Windows machine, lappy.  Undecided I did however have sort of the linux in older iterations spread out over 2-3 older PATA disks, so I can get 90% back, but now I'm installing Debian anew. The 9-something.

hhaha yeah its been a rough year for me Also wanted to give a bit of a status update here so apparently according to https://www.reddit.com/r/growthcoin/comments/7o5j0n/the_team_is_back_together/

A grw team is back to work on grw however i have never once seen a commit on any branches the last one being by unick in 2014 and my fork pull in 2017 soooo... i guess we will see what that turns into just a little update about the current state of building and updating our beloved coin and community things are looking good should be a stable test net build here soon and will update on that however should this "team" be coming back for real i do not know if the community will continue to support my development for or not so will update the community more here in the next few weeks once test net is up and running

Is there a way to have the blocks not become super small?  I did not see a -SetBlockThreshold type command.  I see a -blockminsize in bytes but do not know if it does the same thing.  Anyone know?  For example if I have a block of 100 coins, and they stake, instead of the block going to for example 55 and 55, they will stay as one block of 110.  It would be nice to not have to select each block after staking to combine them into a larger block.

Thanks

on my to do list sorry if you would like me to upload somewhere else or if you want head to the growthcoin website and if you click the current block button it will allow you to download  the current bootstrap I understand if you wanna find the current wallet I honestlu don't remember where I got it from I swear it's clean but I understand if you don't download was just trying to help you out.
The current bootstrap is old, I provided a snapshot of a recent one, and the newest wallet 1.3.0.1 is available on github: https://github.com/iamunick/growthcoin/releases

That's several years old.

I was talking about a brand new, updated with the latest bitcoin core code from 2017.

That did it!  Thanks for posting the archive.

When staking, I noticed that instead of splitting the staked block it created a new one that was larger than the previous block.  Do you by chance know what the split block threshold is for this coin?

Thanks again.
NP, Merry Xmas Wink I have no idea, I usually keep mine in plenty stacks that wont cause too many small, nor too few big blocks.

Wow, this wallet is the pits.  I am trying to get it up and running on another box.  It has been loading the bootstrap for 24 hours from the growthco.in site...  I only seem to have one connection as well...  Undecided
Did you try my blockchain archive? I'll get some nodes up here.
