    Oh. I see.
Git-hub is probably the best place for the source. It's easy to use, only authorized people are allowed to change the code, and most people expect it to be there.
The source code is already there, but I don't know if anybody but captainhook has full access to the repository.

On Saturday at the IRC meeting we can discuss Github repositories.
I would like us to migrate the current code to github.com/icoin-project/icoin and then move forward using it for our "Under New Management" iteration of iCoin.

As it stands now, we need to add a checkpoint to the wallet immediately and some new seednodes. Then, make those binaries available for Windows/OSX/Linux.
The next step would be to rebase against the current version of Litecoin and then to phase in any of the new development ideas which are under review.

Kind Regards,
-Chicago

Some good topics to discuss, does anyone else have anything they want to bring up, I'll create an agenda of sorts

Hi all,

I support the cloud repository for all the files, dropbox for example, but not something where everybody has editing rights since more often than not, there will be some smart ass trying to screw things.

For me, there should be a team of 3 or 4 persons which are the responsible for keeping everything nice and clean and only they can change the repository.

Europe>Portugal>Lisbon, here.

What do you mean by something where everybody has editing rights? Are you talking about a wiki?

Nope, I have seen in some coins documents on google docs for example with write permissions open for everybody.

That is a problem for me since it is TOO MUCH open source.

Well, there can be a moderated wiki -- to keep it from being defaced and from losing important content.

The community has got us this far, let's keep this openness in the community going Smiley

can we all get together on IRC, Saturday perhaps, to discuss ideas and how we want to take iCoin forward?

This coin is definitely heading in the right direction. I'm glad that I started mining it a few days ago.

Keep up the good work guys. Smiley

Hi LordPiccolo,

What do you think about creating a dropbox or whatever cloud system to put documenat, project plans and excel files ?

I think lot of cryptos failed because of lack of communication and organisation... No plans, no schedules...

It reminds me AIRCOIN, and more recently XPY ;-)

Jofo

Just my two cents, I think using the existing #iCoin channel on Freenode would be more dynamic and could service the community in a better way than other registration required infrastructures.
For working collaboratively on documents, we can use an Etherpad together https://etherpad.mozilla.org/ and then ultimately publish something which we link to here and through a topic in the IRC channel.

The main idea of us working together though is quite on point -- us sharing the burden of knowing what is happening and keeping all of the community in a loop will be better for everybody.
The only problem I have with Google docs and dropbox is the barrier to entry. For an 'anonymous' crypto-currency, we shouldn't be expecting to find a Google + Profile or having to dish out registrations or load binaries for odd services onto our computers. There are plenty of other traditional ways to collaborate which can be more inherently private and secure.

Kind Regards,
-Chicago
