x13, scrypt jane or qrk is required now if you don't want to burn electricity against fpga and asic

You forget about Scrypt-N.

There is a wallet already, I have just compiled and it works.

Yeah, how many linux users here, 1.60%? Success.  Grin

I think dev is instamining now.

You are able to compile from sources at other platforms too, unless you're missing some basic skills.
If so you need to learn fast or give up many coins.

Roll Eyes yeah compiling doesn't normally (call us crazy here..) involve fixing the wallet first so that it points to the right files, no?

Why can't people understand that 99.9% of "devs" here are just lame morons like their miners? They know nothing about software development. Clone repo, substitute your coin name, change a couple of constants with coin supply and you are a dev nowadays. Other 0.09% of devs are know something and successfully scamming people with their "innovations". The rest are good devs, but they are like unicorns.

I agree the buggy code should not happen.
What I can say in favour of the dev this time is that he fixed the issue shortly after my post. The issue was also silly and easy to resolve.
I have seen really worse issues with other coins that are popular and gained the price (I'll won't name them). Their "devs" failed to fix it for months.

Surprising for those who still believe that X11 is "new home for GPU miners".

If you want to compile the wallet from git hub you need to rename every mastiff-[...].png to glyph-[...].png in glyphcoin/src/qt/res/icons/ directory.
