yeah compiling doesn't normally (call us crazy here..) involve fixing the wallet first so that it points to the right files, no?Why can't people understand that 99.9% of "devs" here are just lame morons like their miners? They know nothing about software development. Clone repo, substitute your coin name, change a couple of constants with coin supply and you are a dev nowadays. Other 0.09% of devs are know something and successfully scamming people with their "innovations". The rest are good devs, but they are like unicorns.
I agree the buggy code should not happen.
What I can say in favour of the dev this time is that he fixed the issue shortly after my post. The issue was also silly and easy to resolve.
I have seen really worse issues with other coins that are popular and gained the price (I'll won't name them). Their "devs" failed to fix it for months.
