Tested my miner on overclocked GTX 960 today -> 830 hps @ ~80W (wall).

Getting 750 Ti tomorrow, will let you know speeds there as majority of mining farms have it.

What differentiates this coin from other so called new algo's that are supposedly cpu only that launch with crippled miners and private GPU miners?

we are approaching the end of the project Cheesy
good bye AXIOM

Both POS and POW rewards are low, quiet times are expected in crypto when this happens.

This is a great time to buy as its relatively cheap and staking very well.

I'll be putting a few K coins in the new wallet to see what happens later on

It was only the wind.
AXIOM Update August 14

There is still no public GPU miner, and the devs have no GPU miner, its a few indepedent programmers in the IRC and in this thread.

Majika, longtime member of the crypto community, tweeted today that hes working a public gpu miner for the community. This is good news and will even the playing field for the next large POW/POS distribution phase.

Please retweet and show support. In about 5 more weeks we have a second large POW and POS phase!

Add: We're unable to edit or the original Post since 2 days ago, bitcointalk is returning a generic Database Error message.  Huh

So... on the basis of a kinda readable tweet, you're backpedaling on your promise to change the algo?
With the dev breaking contact they had to. Actually, with a public GPU miner the situation wouldn't be too bad. It provides somewhat more hashrate per unit but the latest nicehash CPU miners on an efficient CPU seems to still have a small edge on power usage. So a public GPU miner could open up mining for even more people, this machine for example runs on a 4core AMD without AVX but has a 7970 installed. Others have some idling servers at hand or a nice new Intel CPU but just integrated graphics. So far it looks like this coin could work for all of them.

But once development can continue it should go for CPU, GPU has enough coins to choose from. Wink

Ah, I just caught up - didn't know the lead dev went AWOL.

possibly all depends on if the community can pick up the slack. The volume and interest is still there but its on a downtrend now due to lack of development.

I'm trying to figure out how to compile a windows wallet and am taking a free online course for c++. I might be ready in a year or two. Cheesy

a course!? thats dedication right there! I thought this was all about CPP (copy/paste/pray) Wink

Well, I spent all day yesterday trying to learn how to compile a wallet on Windows. Using some guides, I finally compiled an older bitcoin client. However; I hit a wall trying to compile an axiom wallet. Therefore, if I can't even compile a windows wallet, I won't be of any use here.  Cheesy

Any verdict on the newest wallet release?

Have not seen many post about how they are working.

I have it running with some small blocks and so far it's stable and found 2 pos blocks.

I won't be upgrading my other wallet as that stakes between 20 and 30 pos block a day anyway

Thanks for the info.

the price more declined each day..

could this coin end up to 2k sat? i will gladly restock hardly..because i love how this coin...new and fresh but only the development not too attractive for the investor..

2k is was the start price of this coin tho. And its still at 4k+ sooo still double of start price.

Not that bad IMO  Cheesy

This coin is still valued pretty high. I have a feeling we might see sub 2000 sat prices.
