Dev is this your master plan that wallet have no connection today 
bitspill's nodes are right nodes, I had your problem and then add these nodes one by one in command line and now my wallet is sync and have 16 active connections. 
I still have no active connection and add these nodes one by one in command line two times.
do you have the conf file set up?
I need instructions how to fix this
But if we ask you details of your setup you dont answer. How are we supposed to help you if you dont give the details we ask. It seems that you need step by step instructions so please post here what distro and version of Linux you have and if it is on your local PC or on a VPS. Also if you use root or another account that you created. Also are you using iptables or ufw or neither. If you dont know this details maybe Linux isnt for you and then there is a better suited OS for you that released yesterday. No offense.
I find it hard to believe that if you were able to compile this baby on Linux that you dont know how a .conf works and how to set it up. It doesnt make sense. If it carries on like this then I am on the verge of suggesting you are just trolling here.

So far I've had chunks of 400ish coins finding blocks on the network. 11 in 24 hours so far. with another 2 orphans ( 13 total )
I'll continue to let these chunks split until I get more orphans the blocks.
I will also let the chunks go down even further when the reward is 5 and see what the network weight is then.
