I don't think this will happen today ... unless, of course, Fillippone comes along now and starts giving out 50 merit each, (that being the case, getting 25 Merits today shouldn't be a problem).

If I add Merit earned by confirmed alts (LoyceMobile and theymos_away), I would be on top by now I had a 50 merits bomb ready for @theymos_away, just because. But I guess those merits would be irremediably lost, and this is against my principle.

One doubt I have, which I don't know if it has been clarified on any of the pages is whether they both received the same number of airdropped merits (I haven't read them all because I understand that many posts are from people asking for their charts).
Both LoyceV and Theymos recéived an equal amount of airdropped merits equal to 1000.
Those graphs are anyway plotted on earned merits.
An easy way to check the above information is looking at their blip.org profiles:

Can I see my own Merit graph? The presented list of users is taken from my trust list, but since it was necessary to limit myself to 20 names, I excluded from this list some merit giants and some inactive users. The above charts are more like a bullish run of altcoins, lol ... where LoyceV appears to represent one of the Proof-of-stake coins.

I was about to create a thread on meta because I had noticed that LoyceV is approaching Sir Theymos to ask if people thought he was going to overtake him or what, maybe with a poll, but in the light of what I've seen:
I think it's better to keep quiet. Let's see if he doesn't notice. Of course if he creates a worked thread of his own he's going to take a big jump.

The increase in Merit sources is clearly visible in the last few weeks.
The increase is clearly visibile for almost everyone in the graph, except for @theymos and @suchmoon, for some strange reason.
I hope this merit quantitative easing will trickle down for all users, not only merit sources. I think I've done my part so far.

Nice graph.
I have been battling with El Duderino_ for a long time. When I thought I left him in the dust, BAM! he played his own magic and summoned a Wall of Merits.
On the opposite side of the emotion the flat yellow line of @Last of the V8’s: he hit the road a few months ago and never. Ale back since. Last time I asked news about him, I was told he was ok. Hope this is still the case and he’s enjoying life away from the forum!

Interesting to see the decline of new Merit for some participants recently. Data is updated up to this morning's Merit data dump.
Maybe that was also a reason, why theymos decided to increase sMerit allocations.
I tried to visualize it by drawing some lines but it looks a little bit confusing.
Red = recent decline
Green = recent increase
So far, only El duderino_ and nutildah have received recently increased Merit.
