Mine at Jonny's Pool
December 02, 2015, 08:52:48 PM
Entry looks good, thanks.

The reason I started the pool was precisely because of the newbie account scams that have popped up.  Nexious hit me personally - I barely mined there, but was the one that found the block, which caused the whole con to be exposed.  I thought I was helping out a small pool operator and some miners.  I'm glad I did find that first block.  At least it put an end to the scam and didn't cost anyone any more of their time and money.  Hopefully with my pool, I can provide that help to the community by providing a legitimate alternative choice for miners to point their gear.

Sorry about that... the target is 12 shares per minute.

Np, all done. Please check to make sure the entry is correct.

It's good to see a new pool being started by a well known and long term forum member and miner, rather than a new pool started by an unknown quantity - you have a bit of reputation riding on this which should give miners some confidence in giving your pool a try-out.

Hi jonnybravo0311,

The "vardiff" variable should be a number in shares per minute (SPM) if it's an automated process or "User defined" if not. Which in your case?

Should maybe remove Nexious pool also? It turned out to be a scam & went **poof** as soon as it found it's first block, without paying miners  Angry

Thanks for reminding me p3yot33at3r, been playing too much Fallout 4 lately to visit the forums much Cheesy

Both Nexious and Plomine have been removed.

api.polmine.pl (and polmine.pl) are refusing connections on 8361, 8347, 8547 since 2015-Oct-20 15:34 EST

I was able to transfer BTC balance (NMC balance was too low).  But unless I missed some big API change not in their FAQ, they seem to be kaput.

Thanks. It seems to have been down for a good few days now. Before I remove them, I'll wait another week to see if they come back online -- the website is still up, so there's some hope.

This is a bitcoin mining pool list. Your pool doesn't mine bitcoin.

Yes, I apologise if that wasn't clear, but this is a list of btc mines only.

BTW, what did you mean by:
Quote
Generation address:  To many

Is it that you use a new generation address per found block?

It lists Eclipse. Does it still exist ?

Yes. Website and json feeds still work, and blocks they claim (with their coinbase sig and gen address) are uncontested by other sources.
Can also confirm - my test account there still works.  It's not a very active pool, though; http://i.imgur.com/viGm9qG.png

The fact that the description of the pool (advertising) are out of date since 2011 is this normal?
It turns out in this forum, give false information ....

If you let me know which pools are out of date, I'll fix them. No need to be rude about it.

I think you'll need to point out which information is wrong.
