my unlimited valid driver's license will not be accepted because it has expired
There are some forum members experienced the same what happened to your account and until now no news that they solve their issue.

What I notice here they are just collecting important documents like driver's license and after a few weeks or months, your account will be frozen then they tell the other client that their account is compromised.

Just keep contacting them not directly from Poloniex support but you must be contacting them via twitter and reddit because I heard if you keep sending the ticket via their website you will never solve your issue.

I was one of the lucky ones that got out before it all went bad. Have 2 friends who are actually going down the call a lawyer path soon.
For the amounts that are locked they could have gone out and gotten part time jobs and made up the loss in less time then they have put into getting their money back.

Almost a month since my first post here. Others waited for several months before their case got solved, so be prepared, you need to lengthen your patience since nothing else you or anyone here can do but wait. Good luck!

As far as I remember, Circle said that they will be the one to address customer support in Poloniex. It's on Feb when they acquire Polo, but it seems that nothing changes in terms of CS (or if there is, most customers didn't feel/see the improvement).

It would be very bad for Poloniex's image itself if they freeze an account without good reason. Wait patiently on what they report after their close examination of your transactions. The exchange has also been very strict on security since Circle bought the original owners out.
They just messed out with their reputation and we have seen it now on their current standing on overall when it comes to exchange. Slow support plus having these issues then what would you expect.

Yep, I'd say that since you're verified already, it's very likely that they are suspecting you of suspicious trading activity, or a breach of the terms and conditions. It makes no sense why they would ask you to verify your account again, though, as you'd simply provide the same docs that you previously gave them.

You should definitely clarify with support why they are continuously freezing our account, and demand an explanation on their part. Otherwise, they may continue to freeze your account without any explanation. As many others have said, I can also testify personally that poloniex since last year has been always consistently one of the worst exchanges available, based on their site functionality, constant deposit/withdrawal issues, and slow support.

The amount that you have in there is definitely a lot. In future, don't store significant amounts above $1k on exchanges, as there is just too much counter party risk. Any exchange can have issues, just like poloniex right now.

Since your account has been frozen, you probably have violated the Poloniex Terms of Use.[1]
There are some similar cases[2] where the account has been frozen and then request to withdraw funds within two weeks. "I hope this is not the case for your account."

Best thing to do:

 - Wait until you are answered.
 - Review the Terms of Service.
 - Try to communicate with them using Reddit[3] & Twitter[4].

The best thing would be to remove all cryptocoins from poloniex

Unfortunately, you been caught in the web of their inefficiencies. In something as simple as merging tickets, they could not even get that right and even acknowledging your frustrations shows how insensitive they are to someone whose funds is tied up. No access to it, and no opportunity to even make more money due to no fault of his.

I would still put the blame on you because you allowed yourself to be put in this situation the first time your account was frozen without any reasonable justification, you go ahead to verify again. Its at that point you should have moved you assets elsewhere and because you have a verified account, that puts you in an advantage position in moving to other platforms as the worse they would ask is that same details you submitted or maybe a little extra that you can afford. Only option now is to wait for them, then do the right thing or you find yourself in the same situation in no distant time.

You're not the only one who has this problem.

Others complained that their accounts were frozen and they have been unable to get a response from the company. One poster said the amount of complaints led him to shut down his account, despite not being directly affected.

Poloniex has the worst support ever based on my experienced. The best thing that you can do now is to contact them again and tell them that the ticket number they gave is not yours.

I think someone knows your account and keep trying to log in with a wrong password and verification that I think one of the reasons why your account was frozen.

Try to ask them why your account is always frozen so that you know what the account problem is and you can make a solution immediately like blocking other IP's and other countries.
