www.CloudMining.website sig campaign is now accepting all ranks. I think, the info needs to be updated in OP.

Details: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/signature-campaign-fixed-pay-earn-01-btc-in-two-week-running-since-jan-15-917174
They aren't accepting all ranks, but some things did change so I updated the OP. Thanks for letting me know. Wink

Yes. They are not accepting newbies. So you can not say that they are accepting all ranks. But, they have made a move that has not probably be seen by other sig campaigns before. They have announced to accept Sr. member & above with -ve trust !!! Please check their thread...

I may write code in exchange for bitcoins.
You dont even need to spend anything half the time you should be able to pick up sim cards for free with the phone companies looking to get you on their network.

It's not always as easy as that. Most sims in my country you need to top up to activate them and if you don't use them after x amount of time they get cut off. It's just a lot of extra hassle swapping your sim cards round just to verify something. I think they'd get a lot more peopel to their site if they removed this. Make it email verification or something.
It's possible they don't need more people. I see a lot of posters with their signatures on the forum, which means they don't have anything against sharing their number. Simple supply and demand. If people started leaving the campaign they'd be forced to drop the phone registration but at the moment they are doing fine.

Indeed, it seems to be working for them.  Apparently, me not wanting to join under these conditions makes me a kind of "paranoid" person.  However, since we paranoiders are so few, they are going to keep gathering info from the folks who give it to them.  As you said, if people would quit, they'd drop the requirement but since they don't have to, they obviously won't.

Giving a phone number is no big deal...looks like plenty are joining regardless of it. If you are that paranoid just join a different campaign. I decided to stick with Bit-X since it is obviously well run and pays well!

For sure, everyone is gonna have to decide for themselves and to be honest it's not really one of those things where "everyone's doing it" is a very powerful argument.  I mean, I really just don't give out my real telephone number or even my real email address to companies.  Shit, I don't even give that stuff to my bank, I give them fake emails where they can send their spam.

Someone upthread (or maybe in another thread) brought up the idea of using a webservice to pass their "verification" of phone number but I'm just not convinced it's worth it when there are so many other good campaigns out there without the doxxing issues.

you could send a few bucks to buy a new number and register with that anyway if you think you are not giving up your phone number, although an email registration could be better than a phone number registration IMO

Bit-X is going to reopen in 5 hours with a new weekly rate. Apparently better than the monthly option.

They've excluded altcoins so I'm switching.

True enough although there are some people who don't use mobile phones with all the monopolies and the damn things being a bit overpriced nowadays but that aside I do think that more choices would work better for some.

Still fairly sure not everyone has a mobile some are still loyal landliners ^^.

Lol, I wouldn't know because I can't make an account since I don't have a phone number I can give these guys.  However, I want to emphasize that to withdrawal I want to move funds *into* my wallet, out of the bit-x company, not *out of* my wallet.  In Bitcoin network, this is as easy as generating a transaction and propogating it on the network, on bit-x, who knows?

Good point. Normally when you're in a campaign the only risk you're taking is that OP will scam you and run with the money. With Bit-X you may also be scammed by the owner of the business, who can disable withdrawals.

                                                         Why Choose This Campaign?

No limits, highest rates, yep higher than DaDice, weekly automated payouts. No hassle - earn your bitcoins now!

No minimum posts, no maximum posts, no worries! Do not spam.

Right, ok, but for balance, I should say the reasons not to join this campagin are that you have to give up your privacy and your personal information (and you don't get an automated payout to your btc address, you get it in your account so you have to deal with whatever the withdrawal procedures are in btc-x).

If this changes, I may join btc-x.  For now, I'm going to look into dadice since the rates seem great, however they may have the same drawbacks as this, I dunno.

Withdrawing from BIT-X is as easy as moving funds out of your own wallet.

The only 'personal information' you give up is a phone number.

Right, and if a telephone number doesn't count as 'personal information' I don't know what does!

The OP has been updated. polynesia, thank you for filling in the provided form! And of course, everyone who has posted updates, thank youa s well.
As of right now, BitDice.me isn't escrowed anymore. I've sent the 3BTC back to them, as request by them.

Don't you think that you should add a Cell for Staff members on the signature compaigns ? there is  few signature compaigns that have higher rates for Staff members . Such as PrimeDice & Bit-x which I see you left .
People have asked me this a few times and I haven't been convinced to change the current layout. This is because not a lot of staff members have a paid signature/are looking for one and it will reduce the space for text inside the table even more.
