Yes, I've noticed that more and more of the sig campaigns are requiring signups and then they do payments to their websites.  I can see why they do this, but it's not exactly pleasing for the signature ad bearer unless you really wanted that account anyway.  And I can't even join bit-x campaign because they want a bunch of personal, verifyable details so that's just off the table for me.

Bit-x only require you telephone number. You don't need to provide any other personal info to be able to withdraw. Of course if you want to trade, you'd need to upload scan of your id doc etc.
Does it need to be valid, I mean, do you need to confirm it?

Obviously, it need to be a valid telephone number. Each time you log in the site, it is required to put a code ( sent with a SMS).

Correct.

Although you can always use some cheap pre-paid number, if you don't want to share your main one.

And I'm pretty sure marcotheminer mentioned that they'll be switching to some other 2FA soon, so tel numbers won't be required

Oh... That is news to me.
I was uncomfortable giving my mobile number and thereby linking my real world identity to my bitcointalk id.

They may pay first 1-3 weeks, maybe 1 or 2 weeks more but after that, if they are a scammer, they will run with the money they got from Casino. It's a usual thing but I am not saying they are scammer. All I can say is 'wait and see' or 'ask for escrow'!

Indeed, we've seen that kind of behavior in the past from certain companies.  It's also another reason why bitmixer.io is really great, payouts are done by computer, so they're never late.

anything about escrow?

No escrow.

If you don't use escrow then people will not want to join because they will not have the security of a guaranteed payment.

Many people also do not like having to have payment deposited directly into their website account as it allows for less transparency

They pay weekly. Usually in weekly-payment campaigns don't use escrow.
IMO people should demand escrow even if they are paying weekly. An advertiser could easily give an "update" that payments would be delayed a few days, 2 days after the payment is due, and then people would not remove their signature a good 3-4 days after that, so someone could easily get 2.5 weeks of free advertising out of a weekly deal with no escrow

Yes, it was mentioned that 2FA should be available in a month or so, meaning that you'll be able to have an account there (just for the needs of signature campaign) just with your email address plus 2FA.
Using your phone as a way to confirm it is you attempting to log in is by definition 2fa, however the thing is that bit-x allows for people to reset their password with only their phone so it really only serves as a password and nothing else
