I have always opted for diversity in my portfolio and not concentrate on only one asset, Bitcoin is a relatively stable asset and less volatile, so if you hold Bitcoin your asset may not crash suddenly just like most altcoins do and that can give you some level of confidence to hold for a long time, but if you looking for a quick but high risky profit then you can look in the direction of altcoins but don't hold for long if you don't want to lose everything in the process.

People act as if whatever they do would be the expected thing, but you have the right mindset for being a maximalist. As long as you are capable of holding, there is absolutely no problem with buying at "wrong" price, because the only difference between someone who buys at low price and someone who buys at a high price, is the amount of profit they make as long as they both wait. Sometimes you make a profit in a week, sometimes you make a profit years later, but crypto will always make a ton of profit for everyone. I believe that we will be 200k+ and that means anyone who bought from ATH to 30k, all of them will profit, some more than the other but they will all profit.

If the user have got the patience to hold, then it is good choice investing on bitcoin. It looks like the price will crash even lower. When we plan for an investment, it is a must to enter at the lowest possible price. Maybe now we need to wait for the moment, because buying at the bottom will lower the time period required to book the profit. Diversification is good, but at this moment altcoins too are in red following the movement of bitcoin.
Well when it reached 30k, I believed that was the lowest it could reach, and I was apparently wrong, I did that back when it was 40k as well, and will probably do when it is 25k and 20k too, doesn't really mean that we would be right just because we thought that was the bottom. All in all, it is going to be fine because all of those prices will be low compared to what it will be when it gets high.

I believe that we are going to break ATH again one day, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but we are going to break it, and when that day comes, we are going to end up with a great profit that will make us all rich, so I am fine with buying at any price for the past month and a half.

Market's fluctuations are unpredictable and thus in crypto, you can not trust any coin to fully get invested on. But yes, you can confidently invest on best coins like, BITCOIN, ETH, BNB and etc splitting a concerned percentage you wish but not to the whole on one coin. What if market is not fare to Bitcoin and is on ETH. So invest 50% on a coin which has high trading volume and where you trust on and invest another 25% on another top coin following Bitcoin. Keep the remaining 25% to average if some unexpected moves are observed.

I think it is safer to invest in Bitcoin alone than make a diversion with another cryptocurrency.  Why?  because it is more likely that altcoin will crash than bitcoin.  If you want to divert the investment then divert it to other ventures outside cryptocurrency.  I think Bitcoin is enough for a long-term investment when it comes to cryptocurrency.  Trading altcoins is another story though.

Putting everything into Bitcoin may seem to be the smartest move to make to secure your investment for long-term purposes, but the truth of the matter is diversification is a very important attribute of an investment. So I will still suggest you rethink and make your portfolio up of quality assets that have long-term goals.
No it wasnt a smartest move because going all in is never been a good thing to be done by someone but surprisingly there are people who do really consider out on making such step because they are really that

hopeful and expecting something positive towards Bitcoin which because of that kind of positivity they do really consider on taking out such action on putting or going all in.

Being a noob wont really be an excuse if ever you would be committing out some errors but its not actually a bad act of risk taking i would say.

When it was still a newbie and tried investing with a small value and then profit, it would usually increase the number of investments and even sell anything to investment, I also did that, initially invest $ 100 then profit more than 30% in 4 months ago I added more $ 500 and so on, And stop investing when I saw the price of drops and large profits that I got back again and in total only profit was around $ 120 in 8 months.

I think I've had comparable investing experiences. Making good money but then getting caught on the big red candles.

Then getting losses on an exchange that got hacked.

After a while I went for the cold wallet HODL-n-accumulate non-optimal profit model. It has served me well.

Am still new in this space both in cryptocurrency and in this forum and seeing what is happening even to stable coins lately make me decide to put all my investment funds into Bitcoin since Bitcoin has never crashed or a billion coins getting minted out of no we're and dump into the market just like Luna tereUSTD did, so for your peace of mind I advise newbies to rely only on highly decentralized crypto Bitcoin. Until you learn enough to decide which risk to take and which not to.

A perfect decision for a newbie like you and hoping that all newbie in crypto will have the same trust and strong belief like you .
When i was new here i hesitated to invest purely in bitcoin and that is the biggest regrets of my life.

Not so perfect decision but good enough to see how aware he is about such risk brought up by those issues happen by stable coin which fall so bad and wrecked so many investors. And now since he bought all of it bitcoins the next thing he do is to listen the sentiments because from researching the market and how peoples reaction towards the movement is important since from this we may know that the market is in good state and we will not get wrecked if market collapsed.

Investing in bitcoin is a good idea but it requires a huge fortune for you to have a good profit out of it. Apart from bitcoin, there are other trusted altcoins newbies can rely on. What happened to terra-luna is unfortunate but that doesn't mean everyone should stay cool by not grabbing the opportunity now that the market is in bearish conditions. To succeed in crypto, everyone should learn how to take risks.

Bitcoin is a sure deal this period because most of the other altcoins are not making any stable movement that will build investors' confidence in their coin. But again if one is looking for some quick profits altcoins are good for that.
No doubt that Bitcoin is a worthy coin to include in our portfolio. Its a profitable investment especially for long term holding. But despite this we cant take away the risk thus its a must that if you invest you're also prepared for the worse outcome. Hence, everytime I buy Bitcoin im making sure that its the money that I dont really need so I can hold longer. Im not a fan now of saving my money in banks because it cant secure my future for having low interest.

This statement here is already a risk in the sense that, bitcoin BTC as you've most likely read is a cryptocurrency with very unstable potential. Where your funds can be reduced to the bare minimum although it usually bounces back to it's previous position or greater as we've always seen. But that's no guarantee for short-term investments.
And don't forget to always invest what you can afford to lose.  Smiley

If you invested all the capital allocated for cryptocurrency investment goes into bitcoin then its worth it but you can't say it never crashed, it happened in the past even now it is happening because ATH was around $65k now the price is at $29K so its clearly declined however its better coin to invest for long term.

But if you invested all your money into bitcoin alone then you are at huge risk even the bitcoin enthusiast won't appreciate that, diverse the capital into different sectors especially gold, real estate then you can buy bitcoin and all.

It's not that Bitcoin has never crashed, it's that compared to the crashes, Bitcoin's market even in the long term still holds some guarantee that you can profit compared to other altcoins just from looking at its decade of history. It's a tried and tested investment so to speak. You'd never go wrong with investing on it for the long term, short term is another thing though since shorting Bitcoin is like shorting any other coin out there, unknown, risky, volatile, etc.
This is the reason why people invest into bitcoin. Yes, you may have seen a bit of a fall here and there in bitcoin, but when has it never recovered? We all know that it never failed, not even once, it always went back up again and profited people. This is why if you invest into bitcoin right now, when it is low, there is a "guarantee" feeling that it will recover and go high.

Of course, nobody could tell you that it is guaranteed to recover, nobody can guarantee that it won't go to 1 dollar, but do you really believe that it would happen? It will go up and we all know it, and that is why we are accumulating so much from the current price.

Probably don't do that? If it was solely for crypto investments portfolio then I guess it's okay but if it's overall investments then you should really widen your portfolio and start investing in say, stocks or others. It isn't really a great idea to invest only on one asset/investment, even if we do consider how good of a project said the investment is. As for altcoin investment, you can try investing in them but never let it stay for too long. Most altcoins are carried by hype so once a certain period passes, it just goes and buries itself down to the ground.
Tell me why shouldn't I consider putting everything in Bitcoin as that is the only stable coin on the stock market right now and if you don't guide yourself properly you will make the mistake of putting money into some altcoins whose outcome is always uncertain and highly risky just like Luna did to it, investors.
Bitcoin isn't a stablecoin though? If you mean a "stable investment" then that's why I'm saying if it's solely for your crypto portfolio then yes, feel free to invest in Bitcoin since it's a lot better than any other altcoin out there in the long term, but if you can find altcoins you think are good investments, then feel free to invest in them. But for your overall investment portfolio, try investing in something else other than crypto, say stocks. The saying "Don't put all your eggs in one basket" has always been apt in investing since it means diversifying your portfolio and reducing the risks involved if the market ever crashes.
I was beginning to misunderstood the message until you made this reply, when i saw were the op call Bitcoin a stable coin but then when it for investment as for long term with minimal risk then Bitcoin can fit into that. What most people call stable coin are coins like the UStd and the rest of the other coun that have a fixed dollar peg price.
