Where can I get a high return on a short-term investment with limited risk... The typical short-term investment is expected to grow for several months to a few years

Do you think $500 is too high as a minimum investment?

Regarding returns...
Current estimated projections are
$100 returns $2327 after 12-18 months...

I doubt whether the token will be tradable but its possible...

If investment is digital currency, so I want to return at least X10 - X20, because encryption currency market volatility is very big, so if you have a year not X10 returns, then it seems to me is losing money. Grin

What would you consider a reasonable return on your investment after 12 to 18 months (your investment is locked for 18 months with no access to it)? Minimum investment would be $500...

Hi, I would have thought about the conditions. It depends on the project.
But overall if I have invested $ 500 that I can not touch in the next 18 months,
I would expect to earn a minimum of $ 10K from them. This is my view of things  Smiley

Depending on the coins. I guess, your investment will give you not less than x5 or x7 growth in 12 to 18 months time. That is a very reasonable target already. Let us say you invested in Waves right now. The price of Waves is still $6 plus but the all time high of this coin was more than $20. So when Waves will once again reach that all time high within March to May, your investment has already made more than x3 growth. And then you still have several months left. There is still more money to make with your investment. Just carefully choose the best coins.

I prefer the investment in the medium and short term, the return is more flexible and generates more business opportunities, $ 500 is not feasible in simple currencies, it is viable in Blockchains. However everything will depend on your lifestyle and business, Good luck.

You can invest in a coin and get more than you think with that investment. Bitcoin could be something that can make that.

It can be for sure the more than is expected but in how long? Although I am supporting Bitcoin as the main crypto I personally don't believe that it can make wast amount of return in 12 -18 months. Current instability and balance on the market is disrupted and Bitcoin needs a couple of years to rise to a desired amount of value. To the OP investment in the Bitcoin can only double his income and if that is satisfied income for him then his question is answered but I personally doubt that a reasonable return on investment is double!

I believe that investing money for such a long term return should not be less than 200%, otherwise such investments simply do not make sense.

It depends what investment you are referring to, if its from bitcoin and altcoins I think 5× from the initial investment would be the minimum amount you can expect for 12 months of waiting. In my case I enjoy taking profit at times hence that time span is too long for me before taking my earnings.

It's not going be bad after all, because for a project to generate such huge ; $500 as minimum ROI after minimum of 12 months duration to 18 months or more of locking up ones investment, should be a highly capital intensive one, may be with lower supply anyway. I may consider it reasonable, but at the same time with caution based on my own intense research despite it's high ROI, because it shall be grossly risky if it turns out to be failure.

That is very long term to lock your money. I would enjoy to see cool 3x to 10x that time in crypto markets. Investing into 300-500 coins may make you reach that levels so. I can safely assume.

The fact that the token would be based on the revenue of a traditional business - would that put you off ?

That long would be enough for you to have atleast x100 with your $500 investment, you just need to pick a good coin and you can do that by conducting a lot of research before you buy anything because most of the successful investors has gone and spent a lot of time finding good reasons why they will invest and technical analysis would be one factor to consider.

So putting it into context, the crypto itself is being used to fund a bricks n mortar business. The product being produced has a very low production cost but extremely high market price (due to limited supply). The only reason crypto is being considered is that they don't want to give away any of the business but need to raise capital, its high risk but the return is pretty high, the problem (which is nice to have) is that the ROI is absurd making it seem scammy....
market decide the price, crypto is about market, worldwide market. so i think it's not scam at all, just be careful when playing with market.

I can't see why couldn't turn those money into $5.000 - $30.000, depending on how the market is moving and what coin/coins you pick.
2018 is predicted to be even better than 2017.

It depends on how you invest your money. If you choose wisely, 2x roi is quite possible.
If you do poor choices, then you'll loose money.

To be honest, getting 100% profit is a reasonable return in 12-18 months of wait because in traditional business or even in a stock market it would be hard to get 100% profit in that short period of time.
