Or it could be new way of living. The government isn't really announcing anything about vaccines or cure for this and its not what they use to do. Normally when its about virus to CDC and all are going to make some interesting points for the cure but this time they are very silent about all these. To which I think we are going to stay this way even if vaccines exist already.

Locking down cities is just great for governments, easy to see criminals, easy to monitor everyone. So why should the government switch back to what it was back then?

You are nuts and that is nothing more than your own imagination. Most country has restart everything however with some safety protocol such as wearing masks in your daily life. The whole lockdown stuff wont be used anymore and this is just the new beginning for everyone else.

Government cant keep their country on whole lockdown forever because people need to work and do stuff to get some money for their daily necessities and TO PAY TAXES. The government wont be able to feed you forever during the lockdown for sure, no country could.

I don't know if he was just being sarcastic about it or not. But definitely, we can't be this forever. Once the potent medicine is identified to cure the infected even if the vaccine is not developed, I think, we will have more actions going on. It is just that health authorities can't identify the most effective medicines as they are still in trial for various medicines. But of course after lockdown, the new norm maybe practice social distancing and use of face mask. I think that will not go away for long time.

Lol, what you need to know is that this pandemic has not made any changes. People are still what they are and after this pandemic they will all still go back to the things that they were fond of doing before, nothing is going to stop them. Some countries already started suggesting people to get practice to live a life with all corona prevention measurements; it means until there would be a vaccine, we must need to lead a life with partial or full lockdown restrictions.

There's someone here that once said that Coronavirus will change the way people live their lives before, but all that is not true, because things will still continue normally as it used to be and people are not going to change. People who are selfish will still continue to be selfish, while those who are good will still continue to be good no matter what.

Degen in the Space
IMO, even you unplug and plug the world again, you can't change the behavior of the humans, rebooting is not possible. As long as the living things in this world are irresponsible, it'll just go back to the world where full of pollution and calamities. The same scenarios will just happen again in the future, this is the cycle of life. The full reboot is when humanity was dispersed.

Well, there are many calamities, disasters and pandemic happened all over the years, yet the world recovers itself normal after that especially to the world economy. Economy might be down but economy will recover after we can find a cure and be back to normal flow of life what we left behind. So, in my opinion no need to the world to reset, we just have to more ready and be prepared next time if there is another pandemic hit the world but hopefully no more to come so that we can enjoy more life outside our home.
If we're talking about the economy, it's easy to recover, it just takes time especially if you have some good leaders in your country but if not, then maybe they will rely upon to China.

I think we have entered a new era in our lives that will force us to change our habits. The world will no longer be as open to all of us as it was before. Many countries will close their borders and this will negatively affect the entire economy. This virus will come back to us again and again.

I guess there are only few European countries, who have opened their borders and made lockdown rules more light.

Some counties are already tested that negative effect of closed borders. I'm talking about import/export sanctions against Russia. Not some of the countries are partly prepared for closed borders, but for some this will me something new. Biggest impact will be on the small countries, who doesnt produce all the necessary food by themselves and had to import it from abroad, plus EU standards made them suffer, because you can not always order food from abroad.

For example Malta, they dont grow/produce most of the regular food Europeans usually consume, borders are closed. What should they do ?

just like after a natural clamities people try to rebuild what have been broke and learn to accept what is loss   .

eventually we can see those people happy again and going back on thier normal lives   . same exact scenario can also happen after this covid but the only difference is that no houses or property that is broken but only lives lost    . thats still hard to accept at first but we need to keep on moving because there might be harder trials after this   . stay strong guys and we will win this battle

Nothing would change imo. It's just like what the word "Reboot" pertains to. It's to start/boot the system "again". The virus basically shut down the world's entire system or at least partial shut downs here and there. Rebooting it would return the world entirely back to its former state. Basically, it's like a pause time or hangs time for us humans. The system shutdowns because the user intentionally doing it or if a virus enters that is very harmful, much so that it could actually make the system go down by itself. Ofc, since we are at as I say it, partial shutdown, most features are turned off and a form of antivirus, aka the government and scientists, are out there to kill the virus. Basically the story of the world right now tbh. Turn off most features > start the antivirus > let it kill the virus > system goes back to normal.

PS. Self-actualization is more of a self-understanding thing. No one could really tell you if you achieved it and only you yourself could understand if you've reached it. It's basically how a successful person doesn't really feel fulfilled, yet a poor person feels really fulfilled. Everyone has different circumstances after all.

Its always going to be the same operating system when rebooting this world, there wouldn't be any different.  The only thing that is needed is to find a vaccine and get back to where we left off.  We are even starting to resume industries like sports so we are good even when virus still isn't yet controlled.

The ones that will not comeback will be seen a lot more clearer in few months because right now there are many things people are focusing on and which companies are bankrupted is not something they really focus on right now. However, when everything comes back you will realize that which companies you were using before this is closed or not because everything will be normal and you will want to live like nothing happened and you will not be capable of doing it at all.

At the end of the day we are living in a world where the world is actually in a big trouble and even if you want to reboot you will probably going to not reboot everything, somethings will be missing and that will cause the economy to fall even worse than right now. People are saying "I can understand why economy is bad because there is pandemic right now" and accept the situation but when the pandemic is over there won't be any excuse.

Campaign Management?"Hhampuz" is the Man
With this thought that the doctors have had when they saw Covid19 for the first time in the emergency rooms seemed that they are living a war. I think that what we need after the Coronavirus is to Restore the world after the war we live and it does not matter Rebooting the World or Restore the world is the same.
Well the first time doctors encountered the Virus they seems not that affected until the spread comes to their lines when doctors starts dying because of this Virus thats the moment when they start treating this as serious as it is.
Countries all over the world are announcing their plans to emerge from COVID-19-inflicted lockdown, and the Asia-Pacific region is no different.
Even countries like Thailand and Viet Nam, that have not suffered a heavy infection rate or death toll, must now reckon with the economic damage caused by the pandemic, and are eager to cautiously reopen their schools and get people back to work.
most of big transactions happen to be in usd which was inflated heavily by us govs themselves
so even if a country hasn't suffer from covid that much - it still was affected by world quarantine
and this really affect the world economy because many businesses starts to shut down and many will never come back to business after this and that will lead the world to recession .

To the Moon
If you look at how many people usually die from seasonal colds, the numbers with deaths from coronavirus will not be too different. And in traffic accidents, I’m sure that more people died during this time than from coronavirus.

You forget one thing - there are different cures against seasonal colds, but there are no cure so far against covid-19. And traffic accidents - they can be stopped if drivers follow the rules. And with covid-19 - you still can wash hands, wear mask and be at home most of the time, but one food delivery with bacterias on products can make you sick...

I dont know how long it will take for the world to reboot from covid-19, dont even know when to expect this reboot, because I've heard that there will be more (new) waves of the virus... Number of infected people are decreasing, lockdown has become less strick, but still there is no save from the virus.

I think we have entered a new era in our lives that will force us to change our habits. The world will no longer be as open to all of us as it was before. Many countries will close their borders and this will negatively affect the entire economy. This virus will come back to us again and again.

I'm sorry, but I will have to disappoint all of you who believe in rebooting! There's no world before or after covid, it's one of those things it's the same, but it's not the same! We will have the same shit as we did until now, but with harder control, more manipulations. Covid is just the latest genial masterpiece from big bosses, if we weren't separated before, now we are 101%! People can't gather, can't talk, there is a big wall between us now, a wall made by rulers, chances for uniting and bringing them down got lowered after this genial move!
Virus as a virus, invisible thing that can attack any of us, perfect reason to separate people, fear and excitement that comes from fighting with invisible enemies are enough for people to stay at home and obey the rules. I'm not afraid that things can get worse, I'm afraid it will stay the same as before! It means we are not going forward, we are stuck in mud! Going down can be a good sometimes, you come to bottom and if you are able to rise from that again you will have a chance to do things better, but stuck in the same place forever is brain eating situation!

The longer the coronavirus pandemic lasts, the more it seems to me that the situation with the spread of this virus and the unprecedented measures taken to combat it have been planned and regulated by someone. The coronavirus itself is not so deadly and dangerous to allocate so much money to fight it and, in fact, deliberately quarantine to destroy the economies of almost all states.
If you look at how many people usually die from seasonal colds, the numbers with deaths from coronavirus will not be too different. And in traffic accidents, I’m sure that more people died during this time than from coronavirus.
Already now it is predicted that after such a fight against coronavirus, more than a quarter of a billion people may suffer from hunger. Trump now compares the negative consequences of the fight against coronavirus with the consequences of the Second World War. Was it worth it? I doubt.

The economic impact of the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic in India has been largely disruptive. The World Bank and credit rating agencies have downgraded India's growth for fiscal year 2021 with the lowest figures India has seen in three decades since India's economic liberalization in the 1990s.[1][2] The former Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India has said that India should prepare for a negative growth rate in FY21 and that the country would need a ₹710 lakh crore (US$10 trillion) stimulus to overcome the contraction.[3][4] However, the International Monetary Fund projection for India for the Financial Year 2021-22 of 1.9% GDP growth is the highest among G-20 nations.[5] Within a month, unemployment rose from 6.7% on 15 March to 26% on 19 April.[6] During the lockdown, an estimated 140 crore (140 million) people have lost employment.[6] More than 45% of households across the nation have reported an income drop as compared to the previous year.[7]

At one point you are right that world is having a bit trouble and all that however at the same time, we already having all of this trouble anyway, so why not just continue to do it anyway? There is really nothing that could go better right now all of a sudden, we are going to be bad and it is going to suck for a while, let's make it suck even worse and even longer but at least have a method or a system that doesn't keep crashing all the god damn time after that.

Definitely the next 3 years will be bad that is given and for sure, let's make the next 10-20 years horrible instead. I am willing to make it horrible and live most of my life in economical situation that is so bad that it is incredibly difficult to even survive. But in return I want my kids and their kids to live in a much much better world.
