There are literally a few gambling sites in this very forums are giving away minimum of 0.0005 to more than 20 players daily, now since people wont even scratch their own heads for that amount I don't see why should any one try to register in a site to get that amount?

imagine if there are 2.000 people claiming this free bonus every day for 20 days
20*2.000*0.0005=20 bitcoins
and I think there will be enough both legit players,trying to test the servcie and abusers who come to claim the freebie offer
so its a double edged sword
