Did any one of you lose money buying Bitcoin?

I already lost a lot of money buying bitcoin. I'll tell you how it all happened:

two years ago or more years ago (I don't remember exactly), I sold my video card that I used a lot for video games, I also sold my hard drives, I sold other things that I had and I asked cash to my parents. so I bought bitcoin when the price was $900 and then I sold when the price was $2800... so far so good. but then the price increased to almost $5000 and I buy it. A few days later I read the news that China banned exchanges and the price dropped to $3300. in the panic I sold, and then the price went up again to $4200 and I bought and I sell when the price increased a lot. I bought again when the price was $17000 and $14000 and then the price dropped a lot to $3300. and there are other losses I've had because I bought a lot of shitcoins on yobit. It is difficult to gain experience in this market without financial losses

If yes, Did you again reinvest in Bitcoin after losing?

yes.

I look at my financial losses as an experiment that allowed me to gain experience

If yes, What need you reinvest your money on Bitcoin?

Profit. Making mistakes and learning from them makes you confident that next time will be different

Did any one of you lose money buying Bitcoin?

Probably those who are impatient and does not understand the Bitcoin market.  those who rushed into the Bitcoin market without doing their own research. Though I do not lose money in Buying Bitcoin but I do lose money on investing in different altcoin.

If yes, Did you again reinvest in Bitcoin after losing?

depends on the market situation and the coins condition.  If we are talking about Bitcoin, yes I will reinvest more to average my losses/expenses.  This is one of the strategy of those who bought at a high price.  So that when the price goes up, at least some of the amount the lost is recovered.

If yes, What need you reinvest your money on Bitcoin?

As I said it is to average the amount I spend in reference to Bitcoin I accumulated.  Aside from that, Bitcoin is very promising and adoption is still at an early stage and the market is not yet saturated.

If yes, What need you reinvest your money on Bitcoin?

If you are going to think about it, there are no way that you are going to lose profits in bitcoin, unless you are an investor and you did some panic selling, but if you are a bounty hunter, you are not going to lose any if you are going to think about it, since you didn't use any capital to have cryptocurrency, you only spent your time and effort to earn it. And if you are an investor, yes, it is always worth it to reinvest your money in bitcoin.

However, it is important to know when to buy bitcoin, always do it when the market is bearish, that way you could make profits in the long run while you are hodling it.

Those who sell at loss, will lose. But its always the profit to earn that makes them reinvest again. But its always the fear that price will fall so low that BTC may not regain at all and will be banned by governments. This used to be the lines who wants to spread fud about BTC but now I'm not sure if they can use it anymore now that its been supported by institutions.  With BAKKT and probably soon the ETF, I think at lot will invest again.

We don't lose money by buying bitcoins, we lose money if we sell them at a lower price than the one we buy them.

If yes, Did you again reinvest in Bitcoin after losing?
If we buy bitcoins and the price goes lower, is a wise move to buy more, i have done it in the past and is a way to make more profit...

I didn't lose money when I bought Bitcoin but there are many people that are called as panic sellers. They just don't know what to do when Bitcoin price falls. They usually sell their Bitcoin when they lose.

You can use the cost average effect to reinvesting on Bitcoin. Just buy every week or month the same amount of BTC and you have a good average for the price.
I hope i could help Smiley

If yes, What need you reinvest your money on Bitcoin?

You only lose money by selling at a loss.

If you already made a loss and are wondering whether you should enter the market again, ask yourself why you want to buy in once more. If your only reason to buy back in is because the price went up, than that's an excellent recipe for desaster because the next time Bitcoin goes down you'll likely panic sell at a loss once again.

The same is true if you haven't made a loss yet but are considering selling vs doubling down on your investment. Only buy if you are convinced that there's a future for Bitcoin, not merely because the price went up recently. If you're not convinced by Bitcoin aside from its price, don't buy it. Simple as that.

In both cases, don't invest more than you can afford to lose. Don't be invested at a level that is high enough to put pressure on you, financially or psychologically.

If yes, What need you reinvest your money on Bitcoin?
Please rearrange your words, what you mean by 'need'?
The question is confusing, I think what he/she wanted to say is "If yes, Why you need to reinvest your money on Bitcoin".

And if that will be  the question. My answer would be; Yes, because I already learned the potential of Bitcoin now, lesson learned if I sold my Bitcoin at loss before and I have knowledge now about Bitcoin. Because what I believe is, if you ever bought at the high price, then if you sold it lower to your buying price, that time you will lose your money.
Just like you I also do the same, but whenever I loss some money I stay on being positive because no matter what we do we can or we will always experience it. I also analyze what went wrong and learn from my previous mistakes. It also depends on how you handle your own investment.

Is OP think on losing in fiat value or something else? If you buy 1BTC in December 2017, you are technically at a loss because value of that coin is now $10k, and 2+ years ago it was $20K. In this situation you still have 1 BTC, nothing is changed about that, just fiat value is not the same.

Some people lost coins after buying by sending them to wrong address, or to fake wallets. Others lost access to them by losing seeds / private keys backups, or become victims of physical robbery.

After such events, some people simply no longer want to have anything with BTC, others just learn from their mistakes, and start from the beginning.

Panic sellers did.

If yes, Did you again reinvest in Bitcoin after losing?
I've lost before as I'm also a panic seller. Those were days that I don't have keen plan on how long I'd like to stay holding bitcoin and I'm still on doubts. Long story short, I have bought from my savings and happy to see it grow now.
