In our Nigeria today religion has been one of top influence of corruption, intact a catalyst for corruption. If Nigeria was in it's early stage where Christianity and Islamic religion wasn't introduced it have been better, the concept in which this religions got into our regions where mixed with corrupt minds abd as such it continued to be a force for evil deeds, people using bible quotations as backup to there evil plans, muslim using Quran quotations for achieving their selfish aims etc.
Alot of people have attend political positions as a result of their influence in the religious environment or most religious leaders requesting members to vote or manipulate who they like most or people of their choice into a political position either because they have contributed to the religious environment development or in one way or the order has been sponsoring the religious leader and religion as an organisation. Without considering competency and other required criteria for leadership hence contributing to bad leadership in Nigeria which have be stroking it's neck for so long now.

If we consider the conventional way most churches use in saving there money for instance, the people that are mostly assigned to take care of the money are mostly individual that are of good reputation and it's always on a rear occasion that you will notice that church funds has been stolen from the banks. If we also consider the part of computer illiteracy being much in the church, I think if you are careful to observe the structure of most churches, you will notice that there are lots of skilled individuals in the church and what most of the churches so is that they assign individual that are good in tye technical aspect of the church work into the technical unit while the ones that are computer literate are assigned mostly into tye media and secretary unit. If churches and mosque begin to talk about saving her offering in bitcoin or even receiving bitcoin as donation into the church or mosque wallet, e no go take time before most government parastetals go have a second thought on advocating for bitcoin adoption in the country.

The country takes religion more serious than every other factor. I don't know why Nigerians tend to take more serious the words of their spiritual fathers than doing directly what their heart says. They say too much of everything is not good. There's not an issue with the fact that one has a spiritual doctrine or not but as a people we should not always put in this doctrines in judging every random situation. In some cases, these doctrines are not needed but we tend to always involve them in all our endeavors.Apart from the fact say our leaders de very bad with there decisions and policies, one of the major problem we de face as a nation na product of religious differences when don separate us and don course serious division for families and between societies.
E get some religion when de restrict her members from doing certain things and even when doing such things go bring food for the table of the person, they will prefer to suffer just to be in obedient to such believe system.
Apart from the fact say the government no accept Bitcoin for we country, you know say e get certain persons when no go still accept am even if it is approved by the government as long as there religious leaders kicks against it.

We are such a set of religious people and are so bent to it that every affirmation contrary to our so called religious beliefs will pose a danger to our relationship with people around us thereby leading to conflicts that are unnecessary. We can live as a nation, putting aside every difference and lend a one voice. There ought to be no room for favouritism all because of spirituality whatsoever. We should be united in our dealings, that's actually what will give the beauty in our diversity.
Op you are quite correct considering your subject, now adays, a lot of people listen and practice more of what their religious leaders told them rather than what any other person or government tells them. In the society we are now, so many people believe in what they are being thought in religious places and it would have helped us a lot had it been we all practice a single religion but since we have different religions and doctrine it is very difficult for everyone to agree together on something and achieve it but however, the commitment of individuals in their various religious beliefs is a good one.

Religion is a good thing just that we Nigerians don too attached ourselves to the religion and the thing come dey affect us somehow. In our politics today their is religious sentiment, even in the military too. Normally religion suppose bring us together with love but wetin the religion come dey do now is to disunite us.
