I agree with all that you have said, research indeed is can be that one spice we need to turn the constant loses to a more often wins..
But however, research is not easy, it's time consuming, and for someone like myself who is not a serious bettor, research sometimes doesn't seem to be worth it, seeing that the amount of money I am putting on the line isn't something I will have to cry over if lost, so, this is one of the reasons why most gamblers likely will not want to spend several hours doing research only to at the end of it all, place a bet with just $2.

Researching before placing bets is best suited for the high stakes/rollers, they put alot of money on the line, and it's important for them to do every thing possible to ensure that the money is not lost.

But still, not a bad idea for shrimp bettors, only thing is, like I said before, the money spent on bet is most times not worth the amount of time spent on research, and It can be discouraging.

There's no way really to verify this. Research is what goes into odds selection making the lesser odd the most likely option, you'll need some experience to know which odds to select and what games to add to your multi bet.

A quick look at the games is alright, but there is no guarantee that spending lots of minutes doing research will help you and it certainly takes some of the fun out of it.

Great teams and always matched to a great team as well for which there will always be an upset to the expected winner. Having good research though lessens the chance of a bettor losing their money blindly.

But you can never see the time when an upset happens like the Surace vs Mungia fight where an underdog who got knockdown in the previous round won in an unexpected way. No amount off research can help you in predicting how it turns out.

Actually to make a bet in a match I think we just need to like the game and always watch the match so that we know where our strengths are when we are about to start betting without the need to see thorough research because after all when we understand the conditions that we will bet on then the probability will definitely be much greater for profit even though sometimes in a match sometimes there are some things that cannot be predicted and there are some unexpected moments that make our luck disappear.

I love soccer and I watch a lot of matches a week so when I try to make a bet, I don't really bother choosing which club to bet on because the picture is already clear from how they play on the field and their performance in the last few matches which makes this my benchmark in betting.

It's just same thing that we keep saying over and over again. Doing research by checking the statistics of both teams in sports betting helps to know the right options to give to a match but yet it doesn't mean that you will get more wins than those who basically make random bets without analyzing the possibility for the match to go according to their predictions. Doing research helps one to have a clear judgement of what the likely outcome of a match could be, but it doesn't work all the time because you can actually make research and check all the necessary things that can aid in your predictions but in the end, it can still go otherwise. Whether you do thorough research before staking a bet or not, what you should just do is to gamble responsibly. Sometimes, doing research about a particular match can lead to great losses in the sense that since you have done your research and you are very convinced about the likely outcome, you can stake heavily with the feeling that you have already checked their form, and you have confidence that the result will work according to your prediction.

I am sure, even though you do research but at least you will choose a team or other options according to your instincts or feelings. Indeed, doing research will be good when betting on difficult matches such as big matches and also matches that bring together mediocre teams vs mediocre teams. But, when you bet on a match between a seeded team vs a mediocre team then I am sure, your instincts have been able to choose to bet on the seeded team even without doing any research.

Because after all, in the past I also always did research for any sports betting and not just football. But after all, because in reality doing research also does not fully provide good results and then, I personally prefer to bet based on instinct or feeling and also consider the odds available. At least that's good enough without having to spend a lot of time doing research, the results of which are not entirely good as far as my personal experience goes.

Am not against research but i can say fuck research bro when it comes to gambling. It is not a criteria that we win any game in sports betting. In the end we still ought to rely on luck for us to win our bet.

The importance of research is to keep us on the latest development or changes ahead of the game. As well as to gather proper statistics on the performance of each team. Who will be present in the game and who will be absence.

This means both those that make research and those that do not make research are making money from betting but those that make research make more money. But betting is not like this at all as most people are losing. Those that do not make research have less chance to win more but betting is very risky in a way that those that do research may still lose more than win.
