I was informed in the FBC thread that TheQuin (correspondent) has not replied for nearly 2 months


Even though he was online 6 days ago, he is unlikely to answer your question. His last post on the forum was almost 2 months ago.

I still finds it difficult to believe if this is actually coming from freebitco.in or not, because they are not known for these kind of experience with their users and how the representative haven't done anything yet about this case over these period is alarming as well, we cannot concluded yet because we are only having a single sided case without knowing what actually transpired between them all, but it could make more sense if the representative address this issue and clarify what exactly the offense is that we don't know in other to know between them both who is at fault over this case.

There has been a noticeable decrease in quality of their customer service in recent months. There was the issue where tokens went missing from our accounts and buying/selling was disabled for more than a week. They never gave an explanation for that. This was followed by a long outage which they eventually said was caused by a DDOS. There was also the previous lambo winner who waited weeks before receiving his prize because he couldn’t get in touch with them. Their signature campaign is now paused for the first time in years from what I can remember because of delayed escrow top ups.

All this coincides with The Quin having long absences from the forum. I hope there is nothing wrong with his health. Whatever the cause may be for these issues I hope they can address these concerns and resolve your case. I believe your issue is more likely caused by a technical error in their system rather than intentionally scamming, but nonetheless it is unacceptable to wait this long for something which can be fixed easily by verifying whether an amount was actually credited or not.

I've also been following this case since the beginning when the user @jper3009 started posting his complaints at freebitco.in's official thread. He actually waited for too long to start this thread, because he was trying direct contact with support, without success, unfortunatelly. But I hope now through this thread his case can get more recognition and attention from other members of this forum who can help pressuring freebitco.in for a reply and solution for this issue, which is going on for incredible 7 months so far, as stated by OP.

I'm supportive to the cause presented by OP, in legit case, because it's really painful to seek for a solution for so long, while talking to the walls without any replies or solidarity from other people who just keep ignoring you. Especially now that we are in bullish market and OP could be using his deposit (which isn't a low sum of money) to profit from the increasements in Bitcoin's price.

To freebitco.in, I would say to not see this thread as an attack against their reputation, rather as a desperate request for a more active and attentive support towards their community of users.

I never used freebitco.in for deposits, i see that the deposit address changes everytime you make deposits, and there are times that you used the same address for multiple deposits but it was reflected on your account without any issue. Can you tell if the scammed amount is your largest deposit? It might have the reason for them to become suspicious on their own.

6 months unresolved case only for deposit issue is absurd for them for not  to cater this, it's obvious that the address is correct and the balance didn't reflect on your account, what else do they need to check. This is just utterly irresponsible.


Actually no, I have made much larger deposits than this one. I have used the site from 2016 until now without any issues or complaints, this is the first one and it's really sad to see that it has lingered for so long with no response or solution from the admin end.

I want to believe that there is a good explanation for what is happening to you, but this kind of thing should not happen to someone who generally has a very good reputation as freebitco. Even if your deposit ended up on another freebitco account due to an error in their system or something similar happened, that is no reason to ignore someone for so long instead of answering and returning the funds.

I don't want to believe that your case is unsolved just because you are new to this forum, but I'm pretty sure that something like that wouldn't happen to one of the older and more famous members of the forum.

I've also been a user of that service for about ten years and I've never had any problems with deposits or withdrawals, so it's really strange to me that one deposit can "disappear" in this way.

I hope that your case will be resolved as soon as possible, because you have waited too long.

I have used the platform freebitco.in since 2016 and not once have I ever had problems with deposits or withdrawals, it's always been seamless until this. I just want this resolved as quickly as possible but it seems no one from their end is willing to help solve this case. I have sent numerous mails to the company support, none of which was responded to or in the very least acknowledged. TheQuin continues to come online frequently and ignores all my PMs. It's sickening to have to wait almost 8 months to get a simple issues such as this one resolved. Hello, thank you very much. The problem is that since I hadn't previously experienced any issues with the site I kept making deposits into my account, all of which were credited seamlessly by the way. As of today my history does not contain stats from as far back as September 2023. It usually just shows last 25 deposits and I've made even more that after the issue happened. I was confident it would be resolved since I read somewhere in the T&C that it usually takes up to 8 weeks to resolve transactions. My main concern however was that I never got any response to any of my emails.

WHAT HAPPENED

On September 1, 2023 (01/09/2023), I made 2 deposits of - 0.02323614 BTC & 0.00323868 BTC into my freebitco.in account, however only one of these deposits was added to my balance on the website.  Here is my transaction hash - ecf4659f060045db0c59e566b360e5773279d9fb641dbb6cb06f5ab3287a3058

There are 2 deposits made to my freebitcoin address - 1BEgLs5kk9SBHWURfgnkAz9wWzscwD6nAw
- 0.00323868 BTC (No. 15 on the transaction list)
- 0.02323614 BTC (No. 76 on the transaction list)

I was credited the first deposit of 0.00323868 BTC but never the second of 0.02323614 BTC.

It is noteworthy to mention that prior to this I had used freebitco.in seamlessly, since 2016. I had never had any issues with deposits or withdrawals as everything was always done promptly, hence I had also never had a reason to reach out to support for any complaints whatsoever.

Since I had used the platform without any major concerns I didn't think it should be a major issue, maybe just a slow network so I hung on hoping it would be automatically resolved before I even had the chance to complain.
Unfortunately that was not the case and after seeing that the transaction was long confirmed on the blockchain network I decided to reach out to the freebitco.in support team... The attached images show screenshots of my emails to freebitcoin support from 05/09/2023 (4 days after the transaction was made and still not credited to me on the website). Mind you I had also earlier sent a complaint using the contact form option on the website (Didn't think it will get to this so I have no screenshot proof of that).
I received no feedback whatsoever from freebitco.in, weeks turned into months and not as much as an automated response confirming that my complaints had been received and being looked into, so this triggered me to do a little research using google. In the middle of researching to find an alternative means to connect with freebitco.in support I came across TheQuin & Wetsuit's profiles on this forum and that genuinely was relief. I immediately signed up and reached out to TheQuin, sending a personal message as well as quoting a few posts to get his attention.
It took another 2 months (December to February 20) before TheQuin finally responded to one of my quotes, requesting that I resend the PM as he must have missed it, which I immediately did.
At this point I was more positive that my complaint would be resolved quickly but that was not to be the case, TheQuin responded to my personal message on February 21, asking me to include my account ID in the subsequent reply (screenshot also attached above), I responded after with my account ID but then he became less and less active on the forum, coming online less frequently (sometimes once in 2 weeks) without addressing my complaints or responding to my personal messages.
I decided to mail freebitco.in support a couple more times, but that again turned out to be of no use as I got no response per usual.

I kept posting in a freebitco.in gambling thread section of the forum, trying to find out what other users' experience was like with freebitco.in support and if anyone had previously had a similar problem to mine to know how they got it resolved. Unfortunately, a lot of the responses were far from encouraging as many users stated their terrible experiences with contacting the support of freebitco.in. I reached out a couple of more times to TheQuin, sending PMs and also quoting some of his posts, I never received a reply from him.

I kept posting in the gambling section thread asking for help on how to best get this issue resolved and some of the users asked me to create a scam accusation thread. I am hoping that this can help me call the attention of the owners of the platform freebitco.in and also aid in the recovery of my funds, as TheQuin has been online quite a number of times in recent times without paying any attention to my case or responding to my personal messages. It's been well over 7 months of trying to get in touch with this platform to have my complaint resolved and absolutely nothing has been done about it. PLEASE HELP!
