[Nope]No hype delivers more than hope
I don't know if the person behind Plan B is here and it looks like he's watching me. Could it be that he was offended for nominating him as a "Fail of the year"? because I'm now blocked, LOL

Here is my vote:
  ...
  6. Fail of the Year: "Plan B" prediction

It's even sadder because I wasn't even on the draw list.
By the way, Congrats to all the winners Wink

Goodnight, o_e_l_e_o 🌹
Thank you Icopress for organising this contest, you are great.
80% of the people I voted are winners, I am happy I could make some cool voting judgements.
I'll keep projecting The Pharmacist and Fillippone for this contest if it's to be an annual contest and I know they will become winners soon because they were very close in this.

I have a concern.

Golden Feather

LoyceV (92), DdmrDdmr (69)...

DdmrDdmr for instance came 2nd, 3rd, 4th in many different positions. But sadly to me he didn't win. For him to pull high votes in different positions means he is versatile or good in many positions. His versatility became a disadvantage to him and his votes were scattered among different positions. This also happened to others like The Pharmacist, Fillippone and even Ratimov(he was lucky to emerge in SpamBuster because he did exceptionally well there).

To solve this problem I propose that in subsequent awards, it can be done in two phases(Nomination phase and voting phase) by this, the result of the nomination will guide voters to know the strengths of the participants and hence decide the appropriate positions to vote them.

Meanwhile, someone should give DdmrDdmr an award.

Thanks to Best_Change, ChipMixer, sporty and others who coloured this contest by sponsoring it.

Regards.
KingsDen!

I must say, the level of transparency in this balloting system is like non other and if such transparency was applied to the voting systems of nations, we won't have had a reason to question the credibility of our leaders.

The event was a huge success as, votes were largely considered from only exposed and experienced individuals on the forum. The initiative is one that calls for not just active participation as both voters and users voted for but, for a more dutiful user and an awareness that all that is done on the forum is duly noted and as well, credited.

A big congrats to all the winners!

We can suggest you create a separate wallet for us to transfer you the prize (otherwise, we can make it ourselves and give you a seed phrase, to save you the trouble). And you can dispose the prize as you wish.
Unfortunately, we cannot make a transfer to any charity this or that way connected with geopolitics.

Firstly, due to our neutral status, which would be broken by such a transfer. Secondly, due to law restrictions in the country where part of our staff lives, to avoid administrative and criminal liability for them.
That's understandable and we can only respect the opinion. I wonder however, if theymos doesn't agree to this "deal", would you consider sending the amount to one of icopress addresses - assuming he accepts it? I'm sure that he'll know, better than anyone, where to channel/donate those funds to help his country...

I'm touched that so many people voted for me. There are many people who deserve to be called "heroes of good" more than me, but I will try to live up to it.

I decline any prize; if there is BTC allocated to me, please donate it to Razom.

Thanks to icopress for organizing this event, and congratulations to the winners!

I've never considered Santa Claus a religion, but now that you mention it I want to join it Cheesy
I know the commercialisation of Christmas has robbed it of much of its meaning, but you've really never considered a literal saint to be a religious figure?

While we're on the topic, why am I an angel? Is is because I'm a divine being whose true nature is so incomprehensible to mere mortals that they somehow remain confused about my gender even after beholding my loins?

Also, as I've already pointed out, it's unlikely that Steve would have sacrificed the winner's privacy (I'm pretty sure there's an option for the winner to handle the airfare and hotel bookings themselves) + he could come to the party under a pseudonym.
I have no problems with that, honestly. I just don't really like football and don't ever watch it apart from Brazil's matches on the world cup, so it would really be a waste with me. I think I would probably accept it if it was a trip to watch a CS:GO major championship rather than a football match, for example. Cheesy

Thank you @icopress for putting this all together, as well as to the sponsors who were able to help you out with some added bonuses to get people more involved. I know it's never easy to run something like this when you care about it (which you obviously do), and as always you'll never be able to please everyone but all I can say is that you are doing an impeccable job and I can think of nobody else to do it as well, so thank you! Had I had more merits they'd all come your way.

To the people who voted for me - thank you all! I'm not entirely sure why you think I'm a master of any craft as you all blow me away time after time with your talents. I'm just a guy who got lucky to know someone who needed help running a campaign and then it snowballed from there. Either way, thank you and also a HUGE shoutout to my #2, the man who makes it all possible (seriously, I'd be lost without this guy), the best designer I know - jayce, this win is as much yours as it is mine!

Congratulations to the winners, thanks to everyone who took time out of their day to vote. This shows that our forum is still alive and kicking and in so many different sections who are able to exist independently from each other, it's very nice to see.

First of all, I would like to thank icopress too for his effort to create this fun event from getting sponsors until promoting it in the entire of forum and other platforms as well. By this event, he creating a friendly environment in Bitcointalk so everyone knows and cares each other more, and it changes the image of Bitcointalk as a place that full of spammers completely.

In this moment, I thank you guys who not only voted for me, but also hired and referred my service. And of course I would like to thank Hhampuz as my long-time partner and friend, who puts trust on me to contribute in all of his projects. As a designer, it's my ambition to become the best designer at least on Bitcointalk by keep learning and create innovative designs. But for Craft Master nomination, I agree with majority that Hhampuz completely deserves the award because of his passionate works as a campaign manager and one of the most important people in Collectible subforum. As a partner, he mostly gives me freehand for every project we work but sometimes he brings up some fresh idea and constructive feedback that are very important for my service to grow and be more creative. I'm proud of you mate!

And congrats to other winners too as well. You deserve it obviously since I have seen most of your contributions for the forum since the first time I registered here until now. Keep it up guys! The forum would be nothing without you. And of course to the voters! The forum would be nothing without you too! Cheesy

Again, thank you icopress! You are in my cool kids list Cool

If I understand correctly o_e_l_e_o and TryNinja declined the tour sponsored from Sportsbet.
That's correct. I would have loved to accept the prize, but I'm not willing to lose my privacy to do so. As icopress explained above, icopress and Steve very kindly offered to send me the money to pay for my own travel to, and accommodation in, England, and to attend the stadium under a pseudonym, but this would obviously still have involved booking and flying under my real name (which therefore still puts my personal details at risk), and revealing my face, age, gender, ethnicity, accent, etc., to everyone involved in the tour and the rest of the prize. I hope Steve and the Sportsbet team don't take this personally after offering such a generous prize, but my stance regarding privacy and protecting my personal information is long standing and universal across all people and services.

I had other ideas on how to distribute the prize, but that's not a decision for me to make. The rules were clear before the competition started, and so the outcome is as icopress has stated above.
To anyone who follows the sport with passion the prize offered by Sportsbet - accommodation, booking - is marvelous. However, I think that everyone involved in it (from the sponsors and organizing committee of this contest ) understands the stance that some members took regarding their privacy and hold no grudge. It's not like the winners couldn't say that they didn't want to me nominated - I guess? - and considering we're in a forum of which a majority of users share a deep care for their private data, such reaction was to be expected. I guess we will never be able to please both sides - I'm sure that there would be winners who wouldn't mind to take the prize (either the one from Sportsbet or the goodies from the YT channel - but there would be others who wouldn't go along considering their stance on privacy.

Perhaps for the next edition we should increase our imagination a notch and try to come up with prizes that could satisfy both parties, besides the usual BTC prize? I know it's not an easy task, but something can be achieved I'm sure. I'm up for a session of brainstorming if someone is up for it!

Also, on a side note; I've only just noticed, but why is the moderator avatar a ghost? Cheesy
You know why? The moderator is the scariest figure for spammers and anyone who breaks the rules and that's the most reasonable reason for me to guess why the organizers use that avatar for moderators.

But one avatar that is not neutral in my opinion is the Santa Claus avatar for the Craft Master winner. I think the competition should be fair to all religions and maintain neutrality because this forum is used by all religions, even atheists. I think it would be good to respect and honor adherents of other religions as well by not using certain figures from one religion or another for this kind of public competition. Do you think this opinion is too much?
