Uh, I read somewhere on one of these threads that o_e_l_e_o's account is locked. It can be verified with the BPIP extension though and that is what is stated on it.

Yes, the o_e_l_e_o account is currently banned.

When an account is locked it means you can't even log in to the account, kinda like Satoshi's account, so I don't think he will be able to read your message even if he is still around.

It all depends on how the account was blocked. If it was blocked by moderators, the user can log in to the account and view incoming messages. If the account was blocked using a secret question, for example, then yes, the user will not be able to log in to their account.

I don't think so. Otherwise I would not have been able to send him a PM.

Congratulations to all the winners.

Have arrangements been made to still be able to send him (or his family) the prize money? I still keep stumbling into his posts, and every time I'm reminded he should have still been here Sad
I sent him a PM, as well as the others (I hope they will be read by him or his relatives). Of course, if anyone communicated with him outside the forum, just let me know.

I can't comment on the alcoholic part, but shouldn't the last "2nd" be a "3rd" (for the Golden Feather)?
I summed up the amount of the prize for 2nd and 3rd place and divided it equally (for this reason GB is designated as 2nd place).  Wink

Congr-izz-atulations to all the weiners up in this piece!!  I had no idea who to vote for in each category aside from Foxpup and a couple of others, but I'm sure all the winners deserve their titles for this year.

And damn, when I saw what got voted for in the fail of the year I realized that I completely forgot about the Ledger debacle.  That was no small thing, and in so far as it concerns cryptocurrency in general and not just forum failures, it probably should have gotten more votes.

o_e_l_e_o you have won a place in our hearts, apart from the obvious awards. You see... We miss you!
Indeed.

The prize for 1 prize will be at least $1000! And I believe there will be many prizes!
That's really going to be huge, and I'm also expecting more contributions in that prize pool. Theymos added his share in the fund and I expect other Bitcoin lovers to contribute something into that fund. The ones who make best pizzas will not only get a badge but some good amount for their time and dedication towards Bitcoin and Bitcoin pizza competition.

I'm very happy that you'll be taking care of that competition! I hope this time we may see the best pizzas in the contest! AI has also got so advanced, will there be any measures to disqualify the contestants who might use AI generated images of pizzas? The worst thing about the new AI generated images is that it's really hard to know that if they are generated or are someone own work.

I want to thank everyone in advance for their support, and for voting for me and my project for the community.

I hope to continue to do a good job and that TalkImg continues to be useful for everyone.

I don't know if I'll be able to do something that will have such an impact again, but I promise to keep working so that the project continues to grow. I have a few ideas in mind, but I don't think they will have that much impact.

Thanks again.
And of course, congratulations to all the winners!

We will have to keep the Pizza competition in our mind and this time, I hope to participate in that event. I'm not sure that either I will win or not but at least I'll be happy to be part of that competition. Would love to be part of that huge competition.

On behalf of Theymos, $500 will be added to the Bitcoin Pizza competition fund that will take place in May (the scale of the competition will be huge)!

Which display name will look better? Royse777Ninja, Royse777_777esyoR? I may consider updating the display name again :-D
Of these two display names, the Royse777Ninja looks good to me.  Cheesy

I join in the congratulations, and also thank everyone who voted for me. I did not enter into the arguments of men about how they would like to see evidence that there could be women in their powerful society. I thank everyone who had no doubts and voted for me.
I also promise to closely monitor and look for all scammers who are trying to deceive the forum and its users. I think scammers should not meddle on the forum, since many people try to keep it clean.
Thank you all.

Wow, what an honor, my first Bitcointalk Awards. The list of people I wanna thank is so long, let's see how many I can name before the play-off music starts. First I wanna thanks icopress for putting this whole thing together, this guy is a real workhorse behind the scenes and sometimes I'm jealous of that level of work ethic.

Second I want to thank all the people who voted for me, even if you just copy/pasted other peoples' votes and don't really know me, you're still cool with me of course. We've come a long way in deterring AI spam since it first became a problem, and thanks to the vigilance of the entire community of scambusters, I don't think scammers can get away with as much shit as they used to (oh sorry, I forgot this is a family show, please bleep that). Anyway thanks to everyone out there trying to keep it 100 and trying to keep scams & spam outta this house.

Of course I can't forget satoshi, without him none of us would be here right now, he's the man of all mans. I also want to thank theymos for keeping the lights on & being the most benevolent of dictators. He's created an environment that allows us to be who were are and keep us all coming here.

I also want to thank Kendrick Lamar for putting How Much A Dollar Cost out into the universe -- its a sword of a song that I try to live by in my day to day life, an inspiration for real. I wanna also thank Ye for his guest vocals on the single, Buddha, Copernicus, Gilgamesh, Andrew Carnegie, Stephen Hawking and of course the Big Man Upstairs. Love ya all, for real. Peace out y'all and let's do this again next year, I had fun.

A big congratulations to the winners on their awards won. I must say that the forum is getting better when it comes to awards of this nature. I am very optimistic that the next award will be better than this with more catchy prices I guess  Grin
I was surprised to be mentioned amongst those with the fewest votes  Grin. It's quite some progress I'll say.

On behalf of Theymos, $500 will be added to the Bitcoin Pizza competition fund that will take place in May (the scale of the competition will be huge)!

Great news!

Time to make pizzas guys!  Cool
Did someone just say pizza? Grin Grin I can't wait to put on my gloves in exploration of the next pizza contest. Also a vote of thanks to theymos for making the prices more catchy.

Congratulations to the winners. I can’t wait to see this year’s community awards on the Bitcointalk YouTube channel. Thank you Icopress and GazetaBitcoin for organizing the awards once again.
To @CryptopreneurBrainboss and @Charles-Tim, thanks for making us proud.
What category did they win? Can’t find their names on the result sheet.
