The wallet always loses sync? Im getting tired of loading the blockchain from the beginning and seeing it stop on block 2100 or 3100 or 900 etc. Anyone want to buy the 40k GRW I have?

I agree bud, if it gets on the vote list. Wait for the next
wallet update and then as tokyoghetto mentioned raise
the funds and we can push into the top 3.

I would do:

-new wallet, with coin control hopefully
-add to cryptsy
-multipool that pays out in GRW
-???
-profit

so nice.

"Thank you for introducing me to this coin.

I have submitted your coin to our development team who will review it
to see if it meets our requirements for addition to the Cryptsy exchange.
If there is anything else I can do for you, please let me know.
"

With out the exchange the coin may loose momentum.

yes,so it should add more exchange places.

There are some rumors that cryptsy will list it.  Roll Eyes

If cryptsy adds it to the voting list, then we can raise the funds to get GRW listed.

I still have issues with the checkpoint,

I redownloaded the windows version just to make sure (from the website) AND recompiled a linux daemon (from github) and still I get this result on all my compiles

Code:
{
"synccheckpoint" : "d5e4fc54c53a9a20bbe01e70d8b47ce66f15c1bd3504f7e80390bf5601150ded",
"height" : 0,
"timestamp" : "2013-08-01 07:16:01 UTC"
}

So I would love some input on this

thanks

Did you try repairwallet (optionally preceded by checkwallet) and also the -rescan commandline? salvagewallet seems to be a last resort effort to try to recover your keys from a corrupt wallet.dat... may be a bit heavy if you just think you're missing some transactions or you've forked.

yeah but repairwallet didn't solve the issue... in the end, I redownloaded the blockchain.

If you were mining on a fork you haven't really "lost" as much as 25k GRW - difficulty on your own fork would have been "piss easy, finding every block" Smiley

you're right, but still lost over 12hours of mining... the "lost" 25k GRW was what made me realize something was off  Wink

So it was ungrown coins that were lost. Tongue

lol, actually I had sent them out already, so that's why I feel the pain!

But I wonder why my client's checkpoint is at 0 Huh I have used the github source to compile.  This happens to Mac AND linux client as well.

What's the deal here ?

I have -salvagewallet my wallet and it seems to have put things back in order.  But I "lost" ~25k GRW  Cry
It seemed I got on a bad fork or something

Eeeek!!! You lost 25,000 GRW?!? Shocked Huh Sad

yeah man, I guess I was mining on the wrong chain for more than 12 hours... so technically I lost over 12 hours of mining or 25k GRW not in my wallet anymore !

I'm pretty sure we need a checkpoint like now...

dev are you around?

This might be too old
Code:
{
"synccheckpoint" : "d5e4fc54c53a9a20bbe01e70d8b47ce66f15c1bd3504f7e80390bf5601150ded",
"height" : 0,
"timestamp" : "2013-08-01 07:16:01 UTC"
}

( 305038, uint256("0x0000000628f73d1b674de85a51546e00fd988fcdaba40ad89231a5a654c27c76")) is the last checkpoint mate. Are you sure you are using the new client on the OP?

PS: Compiling wallets with the Security update.

how is it even possible? I compiled from source from the github!
