Farewell, Leo
I've been advertising MyCryptoMixer for a long time, but I never tried their services until this week. I'll be honest with my review, because I think it'd be better if we had more mixers than just one monopolizing the forum. The more mixers means the more privacy.

Once I firstly visited mycryptomixer.com, I saw a well-made and neat website. Especially, when you prepare your deposit, the owners have made a really good job. I find it cool that "Funds distribution", it clearly proves that the mixing experience is simple, but with a lot of options!

Although, I had an issue once I broadcasted the transaction: #msg56448980. Fortunately, I got the money I mixed, so I'm okay now, problem solved.

These are my suggestions:
  • Be more active on forum or email. You have no idea how soothing it'd be if you just had reply on the thread instead of having me wait. I know that you wouldn't scam me, it's pretty clear that your services are legit, but you can't just let your customers wait without a sign of support. I deposited the minimum amount. I wonder how anxious I'd be if I wanted to mix 1 bitcoin.
  • Add bech32 depositing addresses. It'll reduce the fee. Slightly, but it will. (Or let your customer choose the address type)
  • I personally find it redundant to have both LoG and MyCryptoCode. What's the point? For example, I hadn't downloaded the LoG, because I thought that MyCryptoCode and order id were enough. I do have the order's password, so I can prove that I'm the one. No need for LoG. Not to mention that if you share your LoG (as I saw on the ANN thread) mixing is losing its point.
  • This one is optional, but I'd find it really cool if you had a submission form, where everyone can provide you a signature from an address to prove their ownership. No need for order id and MyCryptoCode.
  • Let's say that I'm a little "obsessive" and I noticed that "Nothing yett" below the Outgoing Transactions. Remove that extra "t". Tongue

My conclusion is that MyCryptoMixer is a pretty satisfactory mixer. Their main purpose is to make mixing simpler, and I can confirm that they've achieved it. And one last thing to say, to all of the mixers out there on the scamming paradise known as "Internet": If you're not on bitcointalk, then you've lost my trust.  Kiss

Hi, I submitted a transaction of $7000 (Order ID zvxe87-62gd4c-kulbq7, th id da824c9063bd9aea76a7a84973daa8b3fce596cb8e80b6fa7fd39765299a6fcc) for 15 min of mix-up and still haven't got any funds sent, it's been 10 hours already. This DOES look like an exit scam to me. Mycryptomixer, any comments?

It's because they use JavaScript. Even if you visit the clearnet link and disable JavaScript from your browser settings, you will get a blank page (Your Tor settings are probably set to disable JS).

So that means they are going against their own reccomendations on their "Step-by-step guide on how to mix your coins" article?

Quote
Assuming these coins are going to be sent to a darknet market… if you don’t already have your deposit address, sign in and get it while having JavaScript disabled. Never use any market that requires you to enable JS!

Regarding the reference to the dark market and the Russian evading state regulations example: MCM may be considered a money transmitter under FINCEN, which means they'd need a license:

https://cryptobriefing.com/bitcoin-coin-mixers-legal-crosshairs/

"Users of mixing services, however, need to be more vigilant. They are liable, according to FinCEN guidance, of being found to be intending to conceal the identities of funds or are, in fact, operating as transmitters. Transmitters need licenses. Concealing the identity of a sender or receiver of funds is a breach of the Funds Travel Rule if conducted by a registered financial institution.

While non-custodial wallet developers are not in breach of any legal obligation, those who use their software could be. The concern for those using mixing services is that in both the Harmon and Bestmixer cases, the enforcement actions were premised on the intent to conceal dirty Bitcoin.

Perfectly valid privacy-based grounds for mixing cryptocurrencies risk being swept up in the zealous delivery of law enforcement. Even if the primary purpose of this software is to protect people’s identities, there may be a tendency for law enforcement to assume these coins were ill-gained."

Smooth mixing experience and the uncomplicated website formation make MyCryptoMixer one of the best in the mixing industry, so I share my review here(Just got paid for this review, btw).
First about the fee: 0.25 MBTC was deducted for each output address user initiates to put in but it worth paying this fee for reaching the high anonymous level of mixing experience. Compared to industry standards, there is room for developing some parts of the onion version of the website. The min amount for starting the mixing process is not small and it should be around 0.001 BTC for identifying more target networks.

Usually, Brave browser's protective website shields find the third-party site cookies and block unnecessary ones but there was only one unnecessary cookie folder on MyCryptoMixer. Tried the website with Opera and Tor browsers, from my understanding, Javascript should be enabled for loading the page. Anyway, the website works like a charm except the small security issue mentioned above these lines. If not used, the live update of mixing status will not be refreshed instantly which I liked as the best part of progress.

Yesterday's BTC rally increased the network bottleneck and increased the mining fee for processing the transaction on crypto exchanges. I intentionally finished mixing around the peak points of the market rally and the incoming transaction was processed with a high priority network fee. No high charge or deduction from received satoshis was the case. After 2 hours of sent funds, the status of mixing has been changed to {completed}. In any case, I have downloaded the LoG before the sending BTC and every part of conditions has been covered correctly by MyCryptoMixer as expected. Looking forward to mixing the LTC and other altcoins.

I haven't thoroughly read other reviews so I apologize if I am giving any suggestions that have already been mentioned. The following review is paid, but my honest feedback -

User experience: The interface of the site is extremely professional, neatly organized, and designed with functionality in mind. I am not having to hunt for information and details about the service is clearly laid out and easy to access. There are no issues with responsiveness with the website. All buttons are functional and lead to correct pages and I see no issues with the front end of the site. FAQ section lays out in detail all corners of the transaction and gives clear instructions on how to initiate a transaction while also mentioning more nuanced details including confirmation number requirements, minimum/maximum deposits and withdrawals, as well as offering reassurance by laying out security features systematically built in site including a letter of guarantee.

Functionality: I elected to choose the instant withdrawal with no delay. Bitcoins sent to the deposit address were promptly confirmed within seconds and once the coins were confirmed, the outgoing transaction was registered almost immediately and coins were sent to the withdrawal address within seconds. The total time, including Bitcoin transaction confirmation took approximately 7-8 minutes so the site was quickly responsive and the service was fast. The bitcoin output was different than the input and I received different coins so the coins were adequately mixed.

Overall thoughts: Very promising mixer and I would give it a shot. Max output is only around one BTC but nonetheless as the service grows I imagine the cap transaction will increase. This was mentioned before but with combined miner fees and service fees, the service is a bit pricey for a newly established mixer. Nonetheless, you do get what you pay for.

A few suggestions I have for you as well as some grammar corrections for the site to give more professional look.

One suggestion is that the Letter of Guarantee does not clearly outline how to restore the session if you exit out of the tab after initiating a coin mixing session. I would recommend putting clearer instructions on how to restore a session and adding a tab or link stating "Restore Session" on the home page with directions on how to do so. A simple mechanism of inputting the order ID and getting back to the session  I think would be efficient in case someone exits out of the tab.

Another minor suggestion I have is once a mix is initiated, having a "?" symbol beside the "status" of the transaction indicating that one confirmation is needed to verify the transaction. I understand that your FAQ section has it listed out, but nonetheless it's easy to miss so I'd recommend making it clear that one confirmation is needed right there on the page. Here's a screenshot of where you might think about adding it -

A few grammar errors I noticed on your FAQ's as well as some phrases that can be reworded. I think there are entire sections that needed to be looked at to sound more professional but nonetheless I still went ahead and included the grammar corrections so that you have an idea on how you can improve. Your layout is top notch but I would recommend implementing some of the changes I have posted below because incorrect grammar on crypto businesses, for me, tend to make them less trustworthy; Corrections are put in parenthesis -

When there are KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures, anonymity ends. Unfortunately, almost all exchanges require users to verify their identity for security and anti money (anti-money) laundering purposes. This means, (get rid of comma) that your exchange address is directly connected to all your personal information. Tracing incoming transactions back, (get rid of comma) can lead to your wallets, holdings, other accounts and transactions.

Quote
Instead (of) sending (a) specific amount of crypto to (a) destination address, you send them to us. Our service „mixes” ("mixes") all the transactions between users, making funds impossible to trace and connect with (the) original owner. In the end, your destination address will receive (the) transaction from one or more addresses, (get rid of comma) that (which) can’t be related with any of your wallets or exchange accounts.

Quote
Our mixer (mixer's) main mission is to protect anonymity of cryptocurrencies users . You can be sure that no logs or any other personal information are (is) stored in our databases longer, (get rid of comma) than the time needed to fully process mixing transactions. 24 hours after successful mixing, all logs are automatically and permanently deleted from our databases. (24 hours upon successful completion of the mixing transaction, all logs are automatically and permanently deleted from our databases.)

Quote
Unlike some mixers, (add comma after "mixers) we don’t even track our transactions (transaction) statistics which could lead to deanonymization (de-anonymization.)

Quote
One of the main doubts when using cryptocurrency mixers regularly, is the possibility of receiving coins, (get rid of comma) that were previously yours, (get rid of comma) and „have your fingerprints” ("have your fingerprints") on them. To avoid situations like that (this) we designed a mechanism which provides untraceability by fully eliminating risk of getting previously owned coins.

Quote
While MyCryptoCode associates your inputs together, we use one way hash function bcrypt, industry standard for hashing passwords, to store the connection. Once a new order is created, we compare (the) provided MyCryptoCode against all stored hashes to determine which inputs can be used. What this means, is (This means) that we can only determine the connection knowing the MyCryptoCode in the first place. (I'd recommend rewording this last sentence because it necessarily clear)

Quote
For technical reasons we had to use reasonably low cost parameter for bcrypt function, (get rid of comma, add period then capitalized "it") it is still very unlikely someone would be able to brute force enough of the associated codes to make any connections in sensible time with current technology.

Quote
The minimum mixing fee starts at 0.5% and ends at 5%. Irregular fee (fees) makes it harder to correlate (the) coins your receive with coins you input. The fee also allows us our service to operate and pays the fee for getting fresh coins.

Quote
Please also note that like with any other on-chain transaction, miners fee is also subtracted. This is a flat fee of 0.25 mBTC per each destination address, which we will periodically update the fee to roughly reflect actual miners' fees.

Quote
Please check our max deposit amount beforehand as we not always hold enough coins for bigger mixes. If you do not trust us you can always split your order into multiple smaller mixes, (get rid of comma, add period and capitalize "Remember") remember to use your MyCryptoCode to avoid getting the same coins back!

Quote
If you have already sent coins your order will be executed normally, (get rid of comma, add period and capitalize "You") you can also get back on the page by using the order id from your Letter of Guarantee. Your mixing page is valid for up to 24 hours.

I've used the site now and done so quite easily without any great rigmarole or hitches in the process.   I believe it is quite usable for the general public and streamlined enough to not confuse with too many options.   I varied my mix use to have a large delay as this relates to security and cover of the input and output of the transactions, I was in no rush to push through the payment and it went all to plan as laid out initially.      The fee is also variable and also helps to vary the transactions done so giving better cover to the mix, both are simple sliding scales with the address to forward the final payment also clear to enter.

I didnt find any complicating points or much to confuse the process, the delay is upto 24 hours but I can imagine some might like a bigger delay to be possible sometimes.   Part of the process is a letter that contains all the details and should be saved or printed off as a record, I just emailed this to myself as Im not too paranoid about security and I use 2FA on access to that email.  Its possible people might want to use some encryption on that further and/or destroy it soon after the process is completed.
Its really fast to use, there isnt a vast amount to explain to the process and they even give the option to mix instantly which I do believe would be a popular option though I dont recommend to choose this unless you are pushed for time as the mixer is best given more time and traffic; but its nice they let people decide for themselves.

All the best crypto sites should be open, simple and easy reference for anyone in the public to use and this is one of them, I look forward to their ETH edition.

Join the world-leading crypto sportsbook NOW!
The front page of the site says "mixing made simple," and I must admit it's pretty simple.  The layout is better now than when I first visited the site.  I like htat the mixing buttons are available near the top of the page now, as opposed to only being at the bottom at first.  All the pertinent information, including a link to the PGP public key are right there, and that's handy.  I hate having to look for that kind of stuff.

The mixing page itself is fairly simple, and straight forward as well.  Nicely done.  I tried the service twice, with different settings on the time delay; one I set for about an hour, and the other I set for instant.  Both times the service worked as advertised.  The instant transaction arrived as soon as the sent transaction had one confirmation.

The only complaint I have about the service are the fees.  The service charges a minimum of 0.5%, but the default is set to 4.46%.  On top of the service fee there's also fee of .00025 BTC for each transaction/address.  This is a subtle note found at the bottom of the page, in fine print:

Quote
Please note that a 0.25 mBTC fee is added for each destination address to cover miners fee

I know the service is new, and wants to turn a profit, but being new and one of the most expensive mixer's isn't likely to make this service as appealing.

My overall assessment; MyCryptoMixer seems like a well-designed, simple, and effective mixer, but I find it to be too expensive.

I have used a few mixing services and found that they didn't have great customer service, especially unreliable. I have no problem with the site when I try it out but my opinion you need the customer service had great response time. The most important thing in this service is trust, they will be more secure when everything is listened actively.

I have seen similar designs on many mixers but the same colors are not good-looking for a brand mixer. For the future, rebranding the website-service and using the different color combinations can be food for thought. The simple instructions are accessible on the site for the smooth mixing process. I have forgotten everything written here for using the fresh mind and explore the website on my own skills, knowledge.

The points I want to report:

  • The site's speed is fast and the welcome interface is smooth. Clean design and GUI invite simplicity that is crucial for BTC mixers.
  • Why don't you use three confirmations for over 3 BTC and 1 confirmation for the smaller amounts? Probably, the site should be prepared for any possible double attack and three confirmations for large amounts exclude the attack of double-spending.
  • Mixed coins were sent back when my transaction got approximately the first confirmation. The automated mixing service increases the service quality, reliability in my eyes.
  • I suggest having a signature campaign here for the promoting the BTC mixer on the crypto forums.
  • I can see you created a new announcement thread before suggesting this but adding a weekly wrap-up will be a nice intention. The weekly or monthly updates about the service will keep your thread more active.
  • Since this is not only a BTC mixer it will be a good idea to add more supported coins, especially LTC and ETH. If you don't have enough time to add the ETH mixer soon, please delete the second choice from the website.
  • 0.5% fee is good and cheap enough for the fast transaction. The fee affects the anonymity but the liquidity shouldn't be a big issue for long term thinkers with washing the BTC on alternative places.
  • I have used the Opera browser and used double VPN with the TOR network for the full anonymity on the onion version of the mixer. Zero cookies from the third-party search engines and the Opera internal adblocker was not able to catch anything.

  • Actually, proper settings were used for better anonymization of mixed coins. Next time, I will use the Mycryptocode for avoiding receiving the previously mixed coins in the new transaction.
  • Minimal amount of mixing is 0.0003, it can be lowered in the future. Surely, someone will want to test the service but the high minimal amount can be deal-breaker.
  • I wish the admin will fix all the disadvantages found by testers.

Btw,thanks for the reward Smiley

hey mate ive been looking for a good crypto mixer, I'd be very interested in trying it out and providing a review with a possible youtube video if you'd like

Since this thread poped up again, may I ask what's the utility of "mycryptocode" again? I provided a random 10 char string and it got accepted?!
The same applies to smartmixer!

When mixing coins for the first time, you will receive a "MyCryptoCode" - a randomly generated unique string which will allow you to get coins only from pools that have no connection to your other transactions. Make sure to enter it before every mix to ensure the highest level of anonymity.

While MyCryptoCode associates your inputs together, we use one way hash function bcrypt, industry standard for hashing passwords, to store the connection. Once a new order is created, we compare provided MyCryptoCode against all stored hashes to determine which inputs can be used. What this means, is that we can only determine the connection knowing the MyCryptoCode in the first place.

For technical reasons we had to use reasonably low cost parameter for bcrypt function, it is still very unlikely someone would be able to brute force enough of the associated codes to make any connections in sensible time with current technology.

You can enter anything You want there but it won't do anything as there are no hashes like that.

Here is my review:

I am not an expert in using mixing services, so I can't say anything about the technical or security details.

The site is very userfriendly. Simple design and easy to navigate. Everything is easy to understand so even people who don't frequently use mixing services can quickly find their way.
I opted to use no transfer delay and from the moment my coins arrived, they were transfered immediatly back to my wallet adress. The service does what it needs to do!
What I don't get, is that you can choose your fee between 0.5 and 5%. I choose 0.5% as 5% is too high in my eyes.

It would the nice if you could add other coins to mix (such as litecoin)

edit: reward received, thanks!

There are many websites that mix bitcoins but  but you don't like their complicated interface, there’s so many ways to mix your own coins but you will waste time. Everything is very simple and clear at mycryptomixer, especially you can delay your transations up to 24hours and adjust the service fee. I feel everything is okay.
