It cannot happen. Because XRP is not completely a crypto. It is created by a company and many investors do not like this. So, I do not think that XRP can pass Bitcoin

Take a deep look at XRPs marketcap of 130.000.000.000$ and say again, that many investors don't like that coin...
Grin
... good joke.

Its called a pump. in a day or 2 this marketcap will be back at 50.000.000.000$

And what do you call a BTC going up from 1,500$ to 20,000$ in a couple of months? A rising Kingdom?
Funny man...

I think in new few days Ripple shit coin will take over Bitcoin, check the market cap, Ripple 145 billion, Bitcoin 250 billion

What is this happening, does someone pumping Ripple?
You should know that ripple is currently getting pump by some whales and very soon the pumping will end and those fund will flow back to bitcoin. Ripple cannot replace bitcoin as the two has there different roles in the market. I think we should not trying to look at the current happening and see bitcoin as been weak but I have ever know bitcoin as a coin that always give surprised and I believe that it will continue it leading roles.

I have a feeling Bitcoin dominance id uder threat, one or more projects is likely to push down the peaking order, alot of people getting into crypto wants their own Altcoin to have BTC and Ethereum like growth

Ripple has risen wildly, though it will only provide special blockchain to its partners. The general perception is that Ripple will be used by its partners, but unfortunately the facts are not. I think Ripple will fall when learning this.

Do you know why XRP is rising? Because people comprehend, that your shit is already refuted.

If it happens, it will be for a few days only.  Bitcoin has almost completed its correction so should
start rising in a few days. Ripple has already run up so much so due for a correction.

I havent invested 1$ in ripple and never will do. If I want to invest into samting that is controlled by other I have regular stock exchange + it's more safer then this pump shit that's been going on. 70% of ripple is still being held by it's creators, only that should raise a red flag and not go into this. Congrats to does peeople that have used ripple to earn more BTC tho Smiley Smiley

BTC: Too slow and too expensive.
This dinosaur can't rule the global need for a cryptocurrency.
Beside: Only 5 mining pools control 51% of the BTC!
You call that decentralized?
Let me giggle...

So yes:
XRP will overtake BTC.
Why?
Best connected with banks, therefore with our bank accounts, extreme fast and able to cope a mass of transactions for a shit of fee, and on its way to become a lot more decentralized than BTC. The market fortunately don't cares for ideology...

Ripple can pass Bitcoin in total marketcap value but it doesn't mean it takes over. First of all Ripple is not a decentralized crypto currency. Majority of coins are in hands of small group. They can pump the price whatever they want. Never trust these scammers.

One thing which might actually good, is the fact that "the large public" does not know the difference between Ripple and the rest. This so-called "trusted" Ripple coin might indirectly be a nice way to be introduced to the other (decentralized) coins.

One thing for sure: if bitcoin doesn't solve the scalability issue, it will die. And so far, it doesn't look like they will handle it. Not to mention all those shitty fork.
Let's hope for the sake of cryptos that it's just a korean pump and ripple isn't taking over.

My thoughts exactly. Ripple has experienced an uncharacteristic pump as of late due which you can attribute almost entirely to the vast amount of "new" crypto-investors. Folks who know little to nothing about crypto and have just recently decided to invest in it after hearing about it non-stop on the internet and news. Ripple is the one coin they know about other than Bitcoin. Since Ripple is very cheap on a 1 for 1 basis, they feel like it's a better idea to buy a lot of Ripple instead of a little bit of Bitcoin. Again, this is because they know nothing about cryptos.

Ripple is a good coin to use right now to accumulate more bitcoin and to take advantage of the unexperienced new crypto investors, but it will never surpass Bitcoin in market cap. If it does, we will see a crypto meltdown like never before.

I have never invested a penny in Ripple and hopefully never will. I have always seen it as an "anti-crypto" crypto. Just say no to Ripple. All it will take to dump Ripple, is for it to experience a pretty strong correction. When that happens, your new investors will lose big when they all cash out for a loss, and then never invest in cryptos again, because it "is too volatile."

Ripple will never take over bitcoin. Ripple will just rise and pump but not as high as bitcoin. Its not yet the right time to dethrone bitcoin.

Why? What is your argumentation? Or are you just guessing? Or wishing?

The fact is that the current cap is huge and still growing, if you like it or not. That's the only fact and all other stuff is just senseless talk. It's impossible to predict if XRP is gonna take over BTC, but it's clear it is well on the way.
