coinbase had been proved to be a rumor long time ago. I don't think xrp will experience any huge increase in near future

I think it is very likely that Ripple will end up on Coinbase, especially after having reached such a high capitalization...

Yes, but Cripple allready gained publicity. Stupid money throw more money at them. I guess they think they will become banks themselves if they will throw money to the bankers.

It would be a great future indication to ripple coin if coinbase really puts ripple on their exchange but unfortunately i came across a news website yesterday and read that coinbase has clearly mentioned that they have no intentions about to accept ripple on their exchange yet. May be they accept it later but not gor now. I also hope ripple grows more than ether and then we see that on coinbase

maybe i dont sure, have some reason xrp is good like short time trade it is profitable but its risky, basically it is stable thats why dont think it can publich in coinbase,
I heard this news a week ago and I really hope it will. Coinbase is one of the world's leading online wallet, and if XRP is actually on the coinbase, this is a great development for XRP and coinbase. We look forward to seeing the cooperation between coinbase and XRP in the near future.

I have no idea what happens if it gets listed on Coinbase. It's overpriced already...

I'll tell you: the people will start trading with it much more actively. but also the price can go down because they'll start selling that coin in their panic-selling moods

Even though this may still happen, but I do not think see it happening soon. This has also been confirmed the coinbase management. One maybe forced to believe that could be the reason the price is now going down.

Ripple claims the no.2 spot in coin market cap at the end of 2017. This means that xrp is really trusted by many and had gain its reputation throughout time. Coin base is still on the rise sooner or later it might have good numbers since still it has potentials that coin base accepts xrp in a sense that it has great demand in the crypto market.

If Ripple does not get on Coinbase then I expect the price to receive a dump within the month because people are relying on the news to pump the coin.

I dont think so. people buy ripple not just because it will list on coinbase. ripple had accepted from many bank. that's the reason

Was ripple (i.e. XRP) "accepted" by banks? I believe the news is only that banks are testing the RippleNet, and it should be noted that XRP is not mandatory for use of the RippleNet...

100+ banks using it..
They need a small amount of XRP for transactions!!

Yes, you are right regarding using XRP for transaction costs. I was not clear enough in my posting.

What I meant was that it is not mandatory for XRP to be used as the asset to be transferred. Millions of USD can be transferred on RippleNet but the amount of XRP involved may only be as little as 0.00001 XRP as a transaction cost (and a one-time initial cost of 20XRP to start an account)

Ripple on Coinbase?  WhatDoYaThink?   A near term possibility?
I have read that adding Ripple to Coinbase would make it vastly easier for more casual cryptocurrency users to gain access to its XRP tokens. But it seems to me that just adding to Coinbase is not enough for other tokens.

I dont think that buying ripple is hard for anyone. You have them on Bitstamp on Kraken, Bitfonex ....  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ripple/#markets     B ut question is why you are buying them. What you will do with them?  LOL
