I don't understand how a coin with a huge number issue can have such a high price.

Ripple is good coin and it surpasses Ethereum in market capital two days back and now many new people putting money in ripple.
Ripple is not worth anything. The team behind it can generate as many coins as they want. There is no max supply limit on ripple. It's insane how this coin is trading at more than 1 satoshi.
Once Ripple has finished reaching its top. Profit will flow to ETH. I believe ETH will do better than XRP. Remember ETH is a very huge coin, and there are hundreds of altcoins running under the ETH blockchain.
Ripple has been going absolutely crazy and the only thing that I am depressed about is that I didn't buy more when I bought in at $0.20!

There is really too much support for a centralized money. The prices that have been raised so much in recent days. It will soon be a hard fall.
I heard this many times about Ripple
You will see its going much bigger
Only passed on market cap so we will see how successful ripple will be in turn to ethereum rise.. I think with ETH you will just keep seeing a large rise as more and more ICO's start to take place in 2018. I will be keeping my ripple in the meantime i just hope that both ETH and Ripple will keep moving forward as these coins are the future for crypto
I was surprised that it surpassed ETH on CMC but what's important is the trust that ETH gained from people so I am thinking Ripple will find its place soon on the crypto market I feel some bitterness here because I wasn't able to buy XRP LOL!

Lol I was in the same boot with you because of impatience. I sold off all my ripples at almost at loss and invested it in another altcoins. I am learning my lessons and learning very fast. HODLing is my favourite word now after such impatient actions in Ripples and even DENTcoin.

Wow, and now ETH is 2nd place again, interesting to see the fight for 2nd place, Or maybe they start contesting the BTC first place?
We are on the same boat. I wish I bought those coins couple of months instead of what i already bought. I pray that I could buy other undervalued coins that would spike this year.
Ethereum market cap is very close to ripple today. There is only 4 billion USD difference. I think ethereum will be again #2 soon in coinmarketcap. But we all witnessed that high p&d potential of xrp once again 
It looks crazy when ethereum and ripple were pumping at the same time. even the marketcap of ethereum close to the ripple and then the community gives a reaction to pump ripple to another level again and we will see the bitcoin dominance will be less and less anytime. It looks difficult if this scenario will still run. It passed Ether on marketcap but not on value. I still believe it will go cross in the value of 5$ soon but still Ether is the queen to Bitcoin.

Heard it was used for experimenting only. Maybe that is the reason of its sudden leap. Besides, it did not surpass ethereum's value just yet, only in marketcap. However, I still believe that 2018 is the year of altcoins which is why I think that coins like Ripple will impress the whole cryptoworld a lot.
I think ripple is definitely overpriced. This is the banker's way of infiltrating the cryptocurrency markets. I have no respect for anyone buying ripple.
This is just temporary because in the long run ethereum will be still the top 2 because the ethereum is making a run here and i think that it will be the top 2 again and it might go up to 0.1 bitcoin price again because the ethereum is having a fork in this few coming weeks so it is a good call to just buy a lot of ethereum right now.
Yeah its a temporary because we all know the fact that in a long run the value become high again, it happened that as of this ti.e it becomes low but we just need to put it in mind that everything will comeback.

Hodling is very essential especially when you are investing and when time comes that the coin you invested goes down. I was even surprised too when Ripple is surging that even surpassed ETH market cap. It's been a roller coaster ride for Ripple but it's slowly plunging now and ETH is closing in to surpass Ripple's market capital.
It looks like Ethereum whales are trying to get it back to the second place since the price rose a lot.
I am not worried about it since i believe ETH is THE coin of the future since it has the best functionality.

Ripple passed Ethereum market cap, but circulating supply of Ripple is 38,739,144,847 coins and Ethereum
is 96,722,031 coins. Maybe market cap is passed but I doubt that ripple can come close to Ethereum price.
When ripple comes to $100, and maybe it will one day, Ethereum will be worth more then $10k.
Functionality of Ripple is in connection between banks, Ethereum will be platform of the future where most
of the apps are developed. People needs to have their own conclusions what is better from this two.
