I think Ethereum is my best choice rather than a ripple. Ethereum is a decentralized cryptocurrency and plays an important role for ICO campaigns called smart contacts and has a sophisticated system. Whereas ripple is a central cryptocurrency and is used by banks. But for me Ethereum is the best.

I personally do not see how the two coins can be compared. They are fundamentally different. Not to mention that Ripple is centralized and has nothing to do with the idea of a crypto currency

Ether is much better as it has more benefits, it is more multifunctional and it is more expensive. I think that ether is the second one after btc which makes it a worthy choice for the long-term holders today

Ripple for me interesting coins but ethereum are better for me. I think ethereum is more safe and strong. Ripple maybe have future but i think it coin not for easy hold.

Agree. Ethereum has a strong network topology, and a massive number of users performing transactions on it, in contrast to Ripple. This is because, Ethereum is decentralized while Ripple is extremely centralized and manipulated by its internal company. No matter how much they hype their XRP cryptocurrency, it may not get far, since it defeats the true value proposition of blockchains. Nakamoto introduced the blockchain with Bitcoin in the first place, to eliminate the needs of trusting a bank, or a third party, with the means of creating a decentralized system in the hands of everyday people.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and most cryptocurrencies out there fit such purpose, but Ripple decided to bring back the middleman or third party, defeating the whole purpose of a blockchain. Therefore, I believe that Ethereum will be the most ideal choice to invest into than Ripple for said reasons. Ripple shouldn't even be called a blockchain, but rather a distributed database which can be modified anytime by corporate entities. Maybe XRP would have a future despite all of this, but Ethereum will always remain in the lead. Just my thoughts Grin

Both good coins in the current market. but I believe ethereum is the biggest project in crypto. So I believe ethereum more from Ripple. I think Ethereum is a much more stable coin. I hope Ethereum's price increases at the end of this year.

Ethereum is an open platform that greatly simplifies the introduction of blockchain technology. Huge interest from not only new startups, but also the largest software developers. I believe in him, he has great potential.

Even we pick ripple as our first choice still ethereum is more aggressive in performance for the success in the future. Ripple now is silent and some believe that it is the sleeping giant. If that so we still didn't know where ripple will rise.

I prefer Ethereum although now Ethereum has decreased I still choose Ethereum and so hopefully Ethereum can quickly return and can get a good profit and can be stable again and I do not choose Ripple because this coin is considered a bad coin in cryptocurrency

If we compare both Ether is always best, while ripple is cheaper good option for trading practice and for lobg term. Some investment in ripple to hold for couple of years will be profitable.

I don't compare ripple and ethereum. I dont trust ripple I think it is a bubble. people have a strong perception about ethereum. So they invested much more than ripple.
i really dont think ripple can easily become a bubble because its platform is so great that is can really become a system that will help the banks and financial system in the future, no more seperately banks with thousands of delay transactions, informations can be easily controlled by governments with much higher security and safer, i will choose Ripple because i want to invest for long term profit.

I look at this question only from the investor's point of view. I am convinced that your investment portfolio should include both ethereum and ripple. Just in ripple I would invest a little less.

im not an altcoin guy but im suddenly interested , as i can see on coinmarketcap there is ripple just after bitcoin then after it litecoin and ethereum , still isee a lotof people speaking about ethereum more then they do about ripple i just checked the website on ethereum and for some reasons i didn't understand anything , can't even find an executable file to download and if it's on beta will people lose their ether later (that's if they are storing them anywhere)

I have no doubts that Ripple would find a satisfactory market for its technologies in well-developed economically countries. But for most ordinary people Ethereum is more preferable asset to make investments in.

I am surprised about someone’s’ cheerful exclamations about benefits of Ripple. But it seems quite clear to me that Ethereum is a much better coin and there is no need even to think where to invest money.
There was no reason to compare the security token with non-security token lol. Ripple offers only scalability blockchain and no more. The developer has no idea about what will be the next thing to develop in the future and they are creating a copycat smartcontract lol and that's a big shame for the centralized security coin like ripple
