Just convert any cryptocurrency to XRP and send at least 20 XRP to your wallet it will activate it.
You can also create a wallet on https://gatehub.net/ if you verify your phone number they should activate your wallet (you don't need to send documents to trade cryptos).
Check XrpChat link I posted above, there are other ways to activate a wallet.

You can share your Ripple public wallet address with anyone (start with a r...)
Never share your secret key (start with a s...) it gives direct access to your funds, store it somewhere safe (print it).

Remember you need to deposit at least 20 XRP to activate a wallet.

Please can someone help and answer my previous message?
Also I would like to give my address in private (I know I could give it here), can someone tell me if coins are really in my wallet? How to transfer then? I only have my wallet address and private key.
Thanks all for your help

Hi
I found those :
https://www.bithomp.com/create
http://ripplepaperwallet.com/

If I save safely the private key.

Then can I give my adress to someone , then everything fine, I will have forever access to the coins?

Thank you!

I notice majority of ripple holder here just used exchange to store their wallet which is not recommended by all crypto users and there's no offline wallet either so I guess you need to sell your ripple when there is a chance to make a profit since there's no reliable storage to keep it.

Hi
I want to buy Ripple for long term storage.
I still cannot understand how I can have a safe online or offline ripple wallet...
Safety is my priority (example I don t want to store ripple on an exchange)
What I would like is it to be safe AND to be able to backup it if my computer is stollen or something
Thank you for your help, I just want a Ripple address and access to it.. safe!! thanks

The hardware wallet Ledger Nano S now supports XRP.

There is a backlog on orders though, current estimated shipping date is July 16.

I wouldn't trust it..

BitJohn is MegabyteJohnny when it comes for excuses, and again, everybody should believe that it would be stupid, as craptsy is legit, yeah right, and everybody lies

I tried to remove some xrp to see if it works or will it get stucked:
Ripple withdrawal to Address:
rLHzPsX6oXkzU2qL12kHCH8G8cnZv1rBJh
Request Date: 2015-10-05 19:58:40
Confirmed: Yes
Amount: 4735.97650700 XRP
Status: Processed
TrxID: @ 2015-10-05 20:00:16

No, these coins did not arrive, but I got instead this reply:
Quote
Hello ***,

I am sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you.
I will escalate your issue to our 2nd level of tech support for them
to double check the withdrawal transaction. Please give this some time as our tech support team will respond in order of tickets received.

Sincerely,
***
Cryptsy.com

Guess what MegaJohnny, you should go to politics, the better you lie and hide, the better it is for you. Do you really have 14 people in your support, maybe you have only 2, rest are bots? Can you list your members by names  Grin, I know it's not appropriate, but it is also not appropriate to hold user coins, force trades in your favour, edit accounts without approval of it's owner, horrible fiasco with EUR market, horrible support, chat members that can't write 1 sentence without saying f*, ....

Culmination of this is mess is for sure the connection of all mentioned above. I am tired of reading your answers and at the same time there is no change, if your words would be truth, there would be no blog or mass of users that claim that you frauded them. Cryptsy is not far from end if you continue in the same way.

Tickets are generally resolved within 24 hours. Your withdrawal will likely be cancelled and your next one will go through. Rippled occasionally goes out of sync and responds with an empty txid when we try to initiate a withdrawal

And JAXX announced they would add Monero too.
Later they bailed on the idea with excuses.

So..

I think to save a safe ripple only in Bittrex, because I think it's safe to save the ripples you have, but if you ever open Bittrex with HP do not ever use other people's wifi, because if you use someone else's wifi, you might be at risk. The loss of ripple that you have and be the target of others with wifi you ever use.

I have read many about XRP. It is a good coin. Try to find a good wallet to hold xrp for a long term. Good luck to everyone who are holding xrp

Minimalist Ripple client, runs in your browser.

Secrets are handled client side:
http://jatchili.github.io/minimalist-ripple-client/

Source code:
https://github.com/jatchili/minimalist-ripple-client

If you don't trust GitHub you can download it and run it in your browser yourself.

This product is not from Ripple and is not supported.

I like the idea of having it offline like myetherwallet.com. will try this one to store my XRP on it. Does this offer back in case my computer will be corrupted by viruses?
I have reinstalled an OS twice already due to viruses just this year alone.

Hi, thank you very much for this info.

So if i deposit more ripples, do you think would the first deposit sumup and be available, or I just lost these ripples?

I will take a look in this wallet too.

Cheers,

You need to send at least 21 XRP (20 XRP + transaction cost) to activate a wallet.

"This transaction failed with a status code of tecNO_DST_INSUF_XRP, and validated in ledger 29608742 on May 8, 2017 9:33 AM."

Also as I wrote in a previous post, I've never heard of this "wipplex" wallet before so be careful.

If you want a trusted wallet you can use the wallet from the gateway Rippex:
https://rippex.net/carteira-ripple.php#/

Hi Guys,

just installed this wipplex, sent ripples to it
the transaction was made, no XRP whatsoever in my account
transaction ID 6D9208929DC4A223EE9659F2E678DD4764464789EAB026501CBE90A4DF87709F

so I dont know who made the mistake, I sent bitcoins to exchange for ripples at https://changelly.com/
it says the money was sent, when we check in the chain after this transaction, shows something
however when searching for my wallet number, says account not found
wallet: rhqtJ3vrv8Bs3jz5SKwE41AQUfQtMSSnY7

seems I lost 10 xrps to somebody, glad its cheap

cheers

Marco
