I got my rk rocketminer running good on a Rpi and 1.3.0 cgminer but the duplicate and rejected shares are really high. Running rk at 320, after 1hr 15 minutes have 3433 accepted and 502 rejects, 12.8%... is this the best it will do... is there any updates for this problem? Just seems those tall green bars on Ghash look bad, 50k.
I have 5 r-boxes that when I first started them on cgminer 4.3.3 they got lots of duplicates, switching to 4.4.1 solved that. they're running on a windows PC.
My r-boxes and RK rock don't play well together.

You know anyone tried to run r-boxes/R3 on same pc using cgminer?
No idea what is the frequency on each R3 blade.
I'm sure it would work fine but they'd all have to operate at the same frequency.

Is possible to combine R-Boxes and R3 connected to same computer using cgminer ?

via a USB connection, yes

R-box frequency is 270 and R3 for what I saw runs around 350~390, is any conf. need to be done or cgminer just detects and select the right frequency for each one?
if you run an R3 at 350~390 you will have ~10-50% HW errors.

Reboot's are a problem when some of the blades do not come back to full ghs!!!
and stay at 30-40ghs until they have the usb cable removed to reset.

How do you explain the above rockxie?
Not caused by heat! the pi's are around 33deg and the room is 20deg C!

20% is a lot of hash rate to lose!!!!

And it's not always just the last blade, it could be 1-3 blade that sit at 30-40ghs.

How about standing behind your product addressing the stability.

Even the miners listed on Rockminers R100 website (rockhash.com) dont show any run times over 14hrs.
Best I've seen with mine was 16hrs but 1-4hrs is more common.

This stability issue seems to be affecting RK,R3 for sure and probably R4..

Reboot is not big problem, most important thing is hashrate and hashrate!!
Reboot happened for temperature adaptive and only need seconds.

1 Try to power down and power up agian if you see this problem.
2 This problem may be caused by: 1  the PI , 2 the board, try to use one PI to drive one miner.
3 reboot is a nomal problem with cgminer and PI solution(all miners are affected using cgminer). cgminer will crash with some unknown problems,so the is a way when cgminer crash ,system will reboot the cgminer.

I'm currently running 10x R-Boxes powered by a 750w psu through a Blackarrow software ATX to 12v adapter board.

Does anyone who's also using a similar setup know if that Blackarrow board can handle 12x R-Boxes, or should I stick at 10?

Any help would be appreciated.

I had 11x R-Box miners on a single BA breakout board...the board was still cool, so I'd say another one or two shouldn't be an issue.

I wouldnt go more than 11 to be honest. Depending on the grade of the chips etc, anything over 600w has a chance of damaging the Black Arrow board.

Thank you both for your input, that's exactly what I needed to know!

Hey guys first time on the site, i have some R3 units on order from Eyeboot, looking forward to getting them up and going, i hope the crew at Rockminer are able to work out the reject issue in the future, even with 10 percent rejects though it competed with S3 form the little information i can find on one actually in use the other day (prob more info now), but it would be mad if with just a software update for the rasp pi would resolve the issue in the future, i am definetley looking forward to seeing what Rockminer have planned for the future anyway

Rockxie, would you guys @Rockminer consider selling RK to R3 upgrade kits? Huh (brackets, heatsinks, controller etc)

I would be down to purchase one if it would help with cooling and stability issues...

Any chance Rockminer would be open to a "Group Buy" of some R3 frame/housing upgrades for us RK-Box owners?

I ordered directly from you, I have sent you a PM with the details.

Greek customs service is asking me for an invoice.
Where can I get one?

All orderd form ROCKMIENR directly can get invoice if they need.
However, ordered from reseller or other ways should get invoice from where they buy.

But alas all of the last Rockminers have just been upgraded models.  Granted this price range is where they'll sell the most units for profit.  It just seems that shiny new Rockminer from last week has a new upgraded model, doh!  Someday soon I hope conferences become more widespread so us non traveling types could go.  Hope you enjoyed, it would be like going to a Star Wars convention for me....drool.

Wish i would have read this during conference didn't know you were at conference would have stopped buy to meet you.

Was really nice to be able to see the different designs of the ROCKMINER's.  I found the new R4 to be a nice addition.

I would say it was a good conference.  Was fun to meet some of the people there, some interesting talks. And of course the vendor area was very fun.
