Yes, this is my original PC it had USB Erupters that I had to move to a different PC because the R-Box and them did not play well together.
The 2nd PC with the moved erupters do not like the R-Box at all as well, though it had never been plugged into that PC until this test, but has the erupters running just fine.

So I did try it on a 3rd WinXP PC and guess what it works!  This 3rd PC never had any miners plugged into it until this test.

I still want it back on the 1st PC that I use for mining, I plan on adding a couple more R-Box units there.

I have been trying to completely remove all USB driver from that PC and re-install, so far no luck.

It had 16 USB COM ports from the previous erupters being on that PC, I was able to delete all the COM ports and plug-n-play reinstalled the one for the R-Box when I plugged it back in, but it is still not working with BFGminer.  In the debug log it says

 [2014-06-26 14:51:10] rockminer: Successfully opened \\.\COM1
[2014-06-26 14:51:10] rockminer: Error sending request to  \\.\COM1
 [2014-06-26 14:51:10] rockminer: Successfully opened \\.\COM3
 [2014-06-26 14:51:11] rockminer: Short read from \\.\COM3 (0)

COM3 is where the R-BOX is set to.
COM1 is my keyboard/mouse PS2 to USB adapter and has always been there.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to completely remove the USB software and re-install, google has been some but not very useful help.

I will be trying everything I find till I get it figured out, and will post any success that I have.

Getting your driver from here right?
http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/pages/usbtouartbridgevcpdrivers.aspx

Also, just install the new driver OVER the old one, Windows should take care of the rest. If still having issues, run a registry cleaning tool, CCleaner has one built in.

My R-Box stopped working today... I had to power off the device to move to different room.

It now does not respond to BFGminer 4.2.  This is on WinXP.

If I un-plug and plug the USB cable the PC responds with a beep like it is acknowledging the device.

It has been working flawlessly since 6/14 with only of a couple of the DEAD status which was recovered by just restarting BFGmener.

Anyone else had any problems with their R-Box?

It there any diagnostic software to see if the device is at all responding?

Have you tried a different machine? I love XP as well but it is aging...

First post here, though I've been mining with scrypt GPU rig for a while..

Rocket Box seems really interesting with good $/ghs ratio!
Will you have DELL or LITEON PSU's (750w) in stock soon?
I'm looking for to add some to my order Smiley

We have plenty of the Dell PSUs with everything you need to run them.

I know they are hard at work packing and shipping so I have a feeling info will start flowing as soon as they have a min.
They are not a scam by any means.
I am so excited to see these in hand myself.  Smiley

Are these no longer shipping on the 25th as promised? I have had no recent email communication and no tracking info on an order i placed almost 2 weeks ago that should presumably be with a courier by now.

we will have to wait for the next difficulty change.

I am so glad that I didint order more than 1 miner for testing purposes.

I have my review live of the R-Box and an interview with our own CrazyGuy in it as well.
Thanks again for the help CrazyGuy.
I will be interviewing Alex of Rockminer as well very soon.  I really like how the community has come together to support the Rockminer guys.
Great miners guys thanks again.

We have seen several new Bitcoin/SHA-256 miners come out as well as announcements of plenty more to come as well. One miner that has come out recently is the RockMiner R-Box. It is a 32+ gh/s miner built using ASICMiner’s Gen 3 40nm BE200 chip in a small Orb type package. This smaller unit is an exciting development as the original Block Eruptor was a large, power sucking space heater. The original Block eruptor worked well, but this is an excellent improvement in both power consumption, performance and relative heat generation.

Specifications:
Hash Rate: 32-37GH/S
Power consumption: 40-50W Note it uses a 2.5mm 12V power connection
Chip: ASICMiner’s Gen 3 40nm BE200
Miner Dimensions: 90mm(L)x90mm(W)x70mm(H)

Got my R-box Cheesy!!  Gave it to my friend as it was a present... he still hasn't touched it...... I gave it to him to compenstate for the hydro.. I think I am just gonna give him $100 and take it back as just watching it sit there and do nothing is annoying.

Luke, I switched over to CGMiner, but one thing I think is clear, I don't think the frequency option (--set rockminer:clock=290) is working properly with BFGminer (4.2.x). When I configure frequency=290 with CGMiner, I get over 35Gh. With BFG, the best I ever got was in the 32's regardless of the frequency number.
Seems to work fine for me. Try --set rockminer:clock=200 for example, it's clearly slower.
Be sure you're comparing the pool-side hashrate, since cgminer lies about it...
Just in case, I did another longish comparison:

Code:
	cg @290 - 3hr high: 33 Gh
cg @200 - 3hr high: 24 Gh
bfg@200 - 3hr high: 26 Gh
bfg@290 - 3hr high: 33 Gh
