No, BFGMiner has a standard interface for all drivers. So something like:

Edit: Also note that if you were using cgminer, you had to use Zadig, which breaks the official drivers. You will need to undo this (and restore the original driver) before BFGMiner will work.

It is under device manager. Find your miner and go to advance properties and then uninstall driver.

I am having the same problem. I have tried to do this, but my driver options are disabled - I cannot uninstall them through device manager. Where is somewhere where I could download and install the proper driver?

Just install the new/proper driver, it should cancel out the old one as my PC did

it's the same driver used for the USB type miners (U1, block eruptors etc)
CP210x, trying to find the link. Someone should make a driver thread with a list/links of all drivers needed for mining gears. would be useful!

S1 units are not being sold "new" from what I can tell and these R-Box units allow for adding more hash-rate at a decent price.

Can i say cause they look friggin cool? Rockminer are very professional and this is just the start of what i hope will be a large range of products from them.

I'm in the process of acquiring a Rockminer R-BOX as well, but I am curious:

Why are people who already own S1 units buying R-BOXs?

They seem like great little units (I ordered one, and it will be my first real miner!), and they run at low power, but based on the calculations I've done, they seem to be nowhere near the bang for the buck or ROI of an S1.

Just curious why you big/bigger-hitters are buying em as well.

Difference in difficulty settings on the pool side between the two types of miners most likely as I have noticed similar issues with my R-Box units onmy backup pools.

I have kept my six on btcguild they are rock solid at 192gh total.
I have a temp psu issue and dropped but since I have used the pcie adapter cables from cablez perfect numbers.

right now I have 1 dragon miner hosted 6 r-boxes and 3 ant s-1's all gear runs close to perfect. biggest problem is 1.62 th is not much gear these days

My R-Box is "dying" after running a day or two. This has happened at least 3 times the first week I've owned it. I'm running with 2 Antminers U2's as well with the following command line

And it doesn't seem what frequency I run at, this is about all I can get. I've tried freq=270, 280, and 290. Running at lower frequency doesn't seem to help the stability. Am I doing anything wrong or is this typical?

I think this can happen when pools aren't completely stable.
I've put some improvements in git to try to handle it better, and hopefully recover no matter what stops it.
