Right now there is a risk with everything.

It is risky to buy these overpriced GPUs because maybe the market topped and profits are going to go downhill from here. At these prices it would take years to get ROI if buying at these scalper prices we are currently experiencing.

It is also risky to buy coins because the market has been very crazy lately, especially with Doge going to 50 cents almost and XRP almost to $2. Then there is ETH going to $2500. Seems very toppy. Also add to the fact that there is a large market of overleveraged longs which lost $10B yesterday.

Invest in coins right now unless you have buy some graphic cards at MSRP, if not it's better to invest in BTC and ETH or other strong altcoins like BNB and sit back to watch your coins grow, right now it's a 100% bad idea to build mining rigs because GPUs are too costly
I wouldnt suggest to newbie buy or sell coins because he can end up loosing money all.Unless understand in trading i will say ok.

It's free electricity  Shocked, what I like about ASIC is their fast ROI capability but after they become obsolete I doubt there is anything else you can use them for, no one will buy from you as scrap anyways but I will like to ask people on here what they do with their obsolete Asic miners, do you guys throw them away or something?
Fast ROI? But ASIC miners consume more electricity than GPUs, an Asic can consume up to 1500watt per machine but with gpu you can select ones that are less power hungry, even the baddest RTX3090 @121MH only draws 300 watts when mining, the more energy saving the better

i have no eletricity cost which mining coin will be good ?

I don't believe that shit, it's either someone else is paying for your electricity or you are using electricity illegally, there is no such thing as free electricity, you don't have solar and inverter or wind turbine and you are claiming free electricity

Mining is a science related to the study of the amount of energy and effort in producing a currency and the return from that currency.
Electricity is one of the main parts of this investing but it is not the only one.
There is the cost of purchasing mining tools, maintenance, cooling, mining location, noise control, customs and legal restrictions and the rate of depreciation. If you do not manage all these risks, free electricity will not make you profit from mining.

Choosing the currency and studying it will help you choose the correct mining device and how to modify it to mine another currency if you did not succeed in taking advantage of the first.

Haha free electricity...and still risky  Grin

You can add "neighbors" too hehe

Fast ROI capability? Think again. If you order a new one today it'll be shipped in August (if Bitmain hasn't sold that batch yes) and then another 5-7 months to get your ROI. That's the best case scenario.

GPUs all the way mate, once you decide to stop mining probably due to less profitability you will be able to sell your GPUs to PC gamers but as for Asic miners once they are less profitable or let me say obsolete it's over 😂😂
Lol you are right, he will end up with a house warmer that he won't be able to get rid of because no one will want to buy a obsolete machine, it's better to buy graphic cards, even old gpus like HD7970 are still selling for dollars online

If you're on a tight budget but want to start mining, your best bet is to look at used GPU's that still have good profitability like the GTX 1060 6GB, GTX 1070, and GTX 1080 from Nvidia, and the RX 570 8GB, R0X 580 8GB and RX 590 from AMD.  These are not as efficient as newer video cards but these are a lot cheaper and can still mine you some good coin.

As the others have posted, check whattomine and see which coins you can potentially mine.

You'd better have free graphics cards.
Look at the site for the profit and payback periods of each video card or ASIC
https://whattomine.com/
You will need a good investment if you want to build a new mining farm from video cards. Asik consumes more energy and makes a lot of noise.
Choose the most profitable coin for mining depending on your hardware.

Don't know what the accurate cost each country to mine coins but will give you an article which can possibly help you to get a idea on what are good coins to mine this year, there are also tips provided so better read this.

https://captainaltcoin.com/what-altcoins-to-mine/

This coins are quite interesting but still do your own research about this.

You're right.

The devs have been talking about that for a long time. The change of phase is very slow and let's see if they're going to fulfill the promise that they've said for this upcoming month of July or August for the 1559.
Based on all those previous false promises so far around Ethereum and POS, I wouldn't put my money on it. I honestly don;t even understand why they put deadlines instea djust saying "it will be done when it's done" to decrease amount of drama.

Now that you mentioned EIP-1559, I read that ETH miners are even planning to protest against that change, which is not a surprise at all. You can read  more about it in the link https://cryptobriefing.com/ethereum-miners-protesting-eip-1559-has-accelerated-upgrade-eth-2-0/

Thanks for that link mate.

I thought that it's all going smooth and we just have to wait. I didn't know tha there's a protest about it.

Good, step one is done!
Now, the other variables!

How much electricity can you get at no cost, is there a capped consumption? Because if it's a 100kwh per household it's nothing.
How much can your powerlines sustain without having to bribe somebody? If it's a college campus room you're going to trigger the breakers with just two Asics.
How much money do you have to spend on mining equipment?

There are different ways to mine different coins, someones like Monero can only be mined with GPUs,

Randomx has killed GPU mining for monero, of course, you can still mine it but it's a waste of power, you're  far better of mining other coins with your videocard.

Common, it's not nuclear science, it's a pretty simple thing, you have costs and you have revenues.
Cooling, noise control is of little impact unless you mine in a dorm or in Sahara, customs are already priced at the gear price, the factor that makes the difference between profit and bankruptcy will always be electricity costs.
I can't picture even one single scenario that is so fucked up in which you will make no money with zero electricity costs right now unless you buy gear at an overpriced factor of x10.

But if you can't, follow the guy who has said about GPU/video card mining. And mine Ethereum while you can because it's about to be stopped soon.
They keep saying for years now that Ethereum will switch to proof of stake, but as we can see, Ethereum mining is still alive and kicking and will probably be around for a couple of years more. That switch is much easier said than done and that's why they keep delaying it.

You will probably get the best answer to your question if you head to either Bitcoin mining or altcoin mining sections. Be aware of the one thing though; majority of the websites that have highly efficient asic miners readily available are scammers, so make sure from who you are buying your equipment from.
