ICO's were invested because people believed that some tokens could be worth something but it depended on the project to keep going strong as well.

So, let's assume that you invested into a brand new token and then the project creators went AWOL and they did not improved the project at all, or stole the sale profits and run away with it, then you would be certain that people would be losing money because of it. However with NFT, the creator just creates and sells it, afterwards all depends on the community and you do not need to have it keep going forever, if cryptopunks creator already gave away all 10k and has no ownership anymore, then what could he do to make it go down? Nothing. This is the difference.

I would guess that for a company like this and NFT situation like this, there could be some multiple ownership as well. However, if they allow people to own more than one then it could mean that some people would buy a lot of it, or at least limited amount of it and then it would be valued a lot by those people.

The ideal situation in my mind is not to allow more than one to be minted, but allowed to buy 4 more to make it 5 total owned, I do not know if such thing exists but if that does exist then it could be done that way. Plus we are talking about anyone having extra wallets, which is easy to open, and buy as many as they want if there is limited to just one.
